@Danrenfroe2016 agreed. Astral chain could use some surround love. Hyrule warriors had decent surround on Wii U, but lost it on Switch. Best surround so far is on breath of the wild and starlink. High hopes for other Ubi titles (the greek gods one). They know sound design. DxM and DB fighterZ are ok surround. Do you have suggestions?

@Danrenfroe2016 I asked this very question and Feral said: "yes it does, you could have known that when looking at the eshop entry". Pity nobody else but us two care enough about surround sound to mention how good it is in a review...

It's a good thing to be able to choose digital. I wish Labo had that choice. I went all digital and I love it. Never lose a cartridge, change games from the couch and be able to use the same games on multiple switches without moving the cartridges around (not at the same time though)

@NotTelevision This will be cheaper than any gym membership, since those inevitably are for at least half a year AND no-show fines if you get into one of those. And you may actually use SwiFit. Plus there is the bonus of making everybody who comes over try it and look like... well, like on the video.

@Nico07 they also announced the end of the game and no more physical toys. So everything we get is a bonus. It also appears that they had this planned all along: the weird way you could buy digital or physical toys now makes sense.

@premko1 that seems on par with the originals. I was hoping for something better; the pro controller has good range, but the joy con don't. I have one joy con for which 3 meters is the max. I would really like "pro con", with better range, better joystick and adult size grip. These knock offs could be close...

@thedicemaster so the switch only being able to output hdmi with the original dock when used with the Nintendo adapter is OK? To a consumer it is rather vexing that even though connectors converge on one physical form (USB C), devices won't work together if they fit together. Bring back the old days of proprietary connectors. At least that was clear.

I love how grippy the joy con are and that the colour is represented correctly on screen. Also loved the plain box they came in.

@MichaelHarvey perhaps to you. Others find the cloud saves, NES games or online play alone enough. But it would be nicer if there were non subscription alternatives to all of these. Perhaps if you run your own splatoon server...

I had never finished the original missions, but now I am working my way through them and loving it. No doubt splatoon 2 will be one of the drivers for the Nintendo online service...

@bluesdance I think the joy con are used without a Switch and either a computer or something like a raspberry pi is used to respond to the joycon bluetooth and control high power wheel chair motors.
