Nintendo Switch is being treated to a new arcade football game today, complete with a launch discount that makes the deal even sweeter.
Super Arcade Football, developed by OutOfTheBit, lets up to four players enjoy a couch co-op kickabout. You can take on the computer in a single-player mode, too, and match modifiers let you do all sorts of crazy stuff like alter the size of the goals, adjust the game speed, or litter the pitch with meteorites and slippery oil. You don't see that in the Champions League.
There's also a Story Mode for those who want to get more out of the game, and custom tournaments featuring a number of pitches, weather conditions and more should also help to prolong your game time.
The game launches on Switch today and will usually be priced at $9.99 / £9.99 / €9.99, but you can get your hands on it for just $4.99 / £4.99 / €4.99 for a limited time.

Hyper Realistic Faces? Man...
Oh wow, for a fiver I think I'll pick this up. Reminds me a bit of Nintendo Club Football and I loved that game.
Getting real sensible soccer vibes...
Deep discount the second it comes out? Yeah must be a real quality product.
developed by OutOfTheBit, aka Mobile game developer that port f2p crap to switch.
This very game is a mobile port.
Also getting some Sensi vibes off this, might risk it for a fiver.
Yep, a sensible choice.
@FantasiaWHT I bought it. It was worth the five. I don’t know if it was worth ten. But I think I’m liking it as much or more so than crusin blast
Geeez, I wonder why it's so cheap...
Does this game have online multiplayer?
I’m intrigued
With that camera angle and Story Mode, this game seems mis-named?
Picked it up.
Great little game for short bursts.
@geordie this was my take and it takes up almost zero space so I’m good with it. I hate when indies for no good reason take a gig and then I have to decide if I really want to keep them or not.
Probably not a spin, but I'll give it a kick.
A lot of people here are deciding on if this game is good or not from the price. No wonder Nintendo marks their games so high. It tricks people into thinking it’s a better game
It looks like it's trying to be, but almost certainly isn't, Sensible Soccer. Bring SWOS to the Switch - even with the player lists from 25 years ago - and I'll buy it in an instant.
Poor game. It's for mobile. Aweful
This is actually quite brilliant. Hidden away in custom matches is an option for loose ball, switch that on and it’s very sensie like.
Needs options to manually choose away kit because of some colour clashes at times and the need to keep tabs on red cards, injuries etc, which reset between matches.
Online was laggy but I only tried a couple of times.
Worth the punt guys.
Just for the record, I hated Sensible Soccer. Much preferred Dino Dini's Kick Off games.
