Aspyr Media, Inc. is known for its vast selection of ports, including several Star Wars games on Switch such as Star Wars: Jedi Knight II - Jedi Outcast, Star Wars: Episode I - Racer, and most recently, Star Wars: The Force Unleashed.

In a recent tweet, the company has hinted that the classic Rogue Squadron games may see the light of day on Switch, but only if the demand is there.

As a quick refresher, the Rogue Squadron games include Star Wars: Rogue Squadron on the N64, Star Wars Rogue Squadron II: Rogue Leader on the Gamecube, and Star Wars Rogue Squadron III: Rebel Strike. Developer Factor 5 went bust back in 2009 but has since returned in 2017; however, its involvement with the Star Wars franchise seems unlikely at this time.

Even so, Factor 5's Julian Eggebrecht has added his voice to the discussion:

With the glut of Star Wars games releasing on Switch over the past few years, eventual ports of the Rogue Squadron series isn't entirely out of the question, but it sounds like we might need to ensure our voices are heard to give Aspyr a nudge in the right direction.
