the 3DS's 3D is BY FAR the feature I miss most in the switch.

btw: pretty much every 3DS game released in recent months has been second party (most of which only had 2D, except metroid). i doubt that nintendo is even developing any 3ds games internally anymore.

gc controllers are so overrated. there are much better controllers these days.

@SLIGEACH_EIRE the reality is that 95 % of all releases on steam are trash and it's hard for smaller, good titles to get found.

they clearly intentionally left out some of the modes so they have stuff to add for the inevitable 10 sequels on switch. shameful.

@ThomasBW84 it's ridiculous that they didn't integrate all layton dlc into the 3ds version considering it costs more than twice of what the mobile version costs (which is better every way).

@SLIGEACH_EIRE can't you think ahead a couple of months? it will come out on all other platforms next month. if it will be released on switch it will be released later and then it will be a port.

@Grogan EA said it themselves. it's a custom-made engine. they built it from the ground up. that's a lot more effort than using their existing frostbite engine.

@JamesR how do you know that the cartridges don't have the full game? we don't know that yet.

@JamesR the only use I can think of is that the game needs some kind of cache/reserved space on the system memory for faster access than from SD.

@BlueOcean that's probably because you looked at the install sizes when you sort by size. for some weird reason it doesn't count the installed add-on content towards that

@flapjack-ashley i think you're overestimating the typical user. the typical user only buys a couple of games for their console in its entire life time. console attach rates show that. of course you won't find these people here on gaming news sites. a friend of mine has had a ps4 for 3 years and only has 4 games.

@BlueOcean the biggest xbox one game i know is actually quantum break when you download all the tv episodes (120 GB)

@LegendOfPokemon 32 GB internal is acceptable. what's not acceptable is a 5 GB save file.
