Re: Teacher Whose Son Has Leukaemia Fights Back Tears After His Students Buy Him A Switch

anyone else surprised that students are allowed to give presents to teachers, especially of that value? it definitely wasn't allowed in my school. it could lead to preferential treatment of certain students (or in this case an entire class) over others. no individual student was allowed to gift anything to a teacher here and class gifts had to be under $20.
also I hope he's paying his taxes for it when he has to file his tax return come next year (it's a work-related income so he has to pay income tax for it)

@sillygostly @polarbear not true, the game has 3D. but it's the weirdest 3D i've ever seen. the menus and worlds are in decent 3D but when it comes to the minigames some have 3D and some don't. it's so weird. and the ones that have 3D don't have good 3D. I think it's mostly on one plane so it doesn't really help you with jumping on someone for example.

@MarcelRguez i'm constantly low on storage space on my ps4. so the "massive difference" doesn't really give me anything when EVERY game (physical or digital) needs 30 - 80 GB to install.
and yes, GTS in practice only works with the 20 GB patch installed. you can technically start it without the patch but you can't do anything because the game is online only.

what people don't realise is that this is also being done on the disc consoles. For example when I picked up Gran Turismo Sport which installed about 50 GB it also had a day one patch of about 20 GB so that a full install of it is 70 GB!
But day one patches that are gigabytes in size really are the norm nowadays sadly anyways.
