Re: Interview: "There Would Be No Control On Switch Without The Cloud," Says Remedy

@TheAwesomeBowser so I guess you didn't bother reading the interview

You can’t just easily outsource the port, either. The technology and the engine are Remedy’s, so we would still need to be involved pretty intricately from an engineering point of view. There are so many things to think of, like is a certain middleware available for Switch, how long will it take to update it, and so on. As always, it’s about resources, and we have very few at a company the size of Remedy, where we are working on several very different projects at once.

@MoonKnight7 comments like these are truly remarkable. The game was never gonna be ported natively. You choosing not to buy it should be enough. The idea that they shouldn't release a cloud base version because you don't like is pure gaming selfishness. Other people may enjoy having a streaming option. The gaming world is for everyone! Cloud based gaming isn't for me but I have no issue with development teams going down this route if it's the only option feasible. End of the day it is still a consumer choice. Nobody is forced to buy it.

@NGNYS ridiculous post and so predictable with the lazy developers comment. It's 2020, that tag line got boring years ago!

@CarlosM87 like he said in the interview. The developers are working on other things. A switch port would take time they don't have or the required finance they need. It's a fair answer but hey because you don't like it you jump on this ridiculous lazy developers slogan.

Re: What's Up With The Frame Rate In The Hyrule Warriors: Age Of Calamity Demo?

kobashi100

@Fulkaffe have you ever thought just maybe they have tried to fix the minor frame rate issues in links awakening and the developers were not able to achieve it. I have said this before, some video game players really do believe they are entitled to perfect performance no matter what and they just don't accept sometimes developers cannot achieve it. Stop the Nintendo don't care nonsense.

Re: PES On Nintendo Switch Is "Getting Closer", Says Series Brand Manager

Just a note but Damien you have got it wrong regarding Winning Eleven games being known as ISS in the west.

Winning Eleven was always known as PES in the west. ISS was always a completely different game and was called ISS in the West aswell as Japan.

Difference between Winning Eleven and PES was Winning Eleven would get two games released per year in Japan plus the separate Winning Eleven J League titles. PES only received one game per season.

@Milton_Burle you forgot to mention Winning Eleven 6:FE for the GameCube which was a brilliant football game.

@westman98 PES 2021 is just an yearly update for £25. So yeah the switch version would be a full game and seem completely new but in reality it would be PES 2020 with updated players and kits for the few official licensed teams.

@Tisteg80 I mean the roster isn't large enough. For someone who played Virtual Pro-Wrestling 2, then fire pro and KOC I am use to having huge selection of wrestlers. An AEW game with weak CAW probably wouldn't see me buy it. I don't watch the product. I gave it a fair chance but soon as they started doing the silly, wacky stuff like you see in the WWE that was me done with the AEW.
