Re: Nintendo Switch 2 Doesn't Need To Worry About Steam Deck Sales

kobashi100

@Toastmaster nah it was ignored because from the very first day software was lacking and it never got that much better. When Sony decided no big exclusive vita that was the nail on the coffin. It bombed massively and the software available for it should tell you that if that's all that was on offer of course nobody was gonna be looking for a vita to own.

Re: Nintendo Reportedly Briefed Activision On 'Switch 2' Back In 2022

kobashi100

@Znake wow so you didn't read my post at all. Where did I not say RE4 was not released on GC first? I simply said your reasoning was completely wrong. It has nothing to do with the hardware power and was simply down to money. I purchased a Japanese GC the week it was released so yes I was deep into gaming in that period. Like I said on my post. Capcom had a get out of the deal with Nintendo if sales of software were not achieved and they used it ASAP and cancelled exclusive Nintendo software. Just face the facts and move on with your life. Nintendo are not gonna release hardware on the level of its competitors. It's clear as day and has been this way since the GC flopped. You and scream and moan all you want. It's not happening dude.

Re: Nintendo Reportedly Briefed Activision On 'Switch 2' Back In 2022

@Znake no RE4 launched first on GameCube because Nintendo paid Capcom for the luxury.

After sales were mediocre across multiple games Capcom quickly pulled out of the deal. To suggest RE4 launched on GC first because it was the most powerful hardware is just ludicrous.

Luckily Nintendo are not running a business to please the minority like yourself. Releasing a console £500+ would be financial suicide as it would bomb hard.

How many times does this need to be said. Nintendo will not be releasing a console to match MS and Sony. I seriously fail to understand that people cannot accept this.

The Switch 2 will be the perfect spec for the price range it is sold at. PS4 level totally acceptable for a handheld machine.

Just realized your post maybe you having a joke by the way. I hope it is as it's totally bonkers.

Re: Review: AEW: Fight Forever - The Spirit Of WWF No Mercy Lives On In The Ring

@libersolis nah Japanese Pro-Wrestling is a sport which has always sat in the same field as other combat sports in Japan. They are all fighting sports with there own rulesets. All fight leagues are down in popularity with New Japan Pro-Wrestling being the leader. Japanese MMA has been on life support for god knows how long. It's on its death bed with no recovery in sight.

@Anti-Matter It's clear why you don't see K-1 video games and that's because just like Japanese MMA and Japanese Pro-Wrestling before that it's popularity has gone completely downhill. Once K-1 lost its network TV deal it was game over as without TV you can't build Japanese stars and the big Japanese sponsors will walk away. K-1 isn't even Japanese owned anymore. Whether it be MMA, Kickboxing or Japanese Pro-Wrestling until there is a bigger shift in its popularity you can pretty much rule out seeing a video game anytime soon.

Re: Batman Arkham Trilogy For Switch Only Includes One Title On The Game Cartridge

kobashi100

@Dm9982 I would imagine cost of carts has come down now and is around same as Blu-ray discs. As the switch is coming to end of its lifespan publishers are not gonna bother requesting to use 32GB+.

Problem for switch 2 is that if the costs are still too expensive for publishers to use than Nintendo won't manufacture the very large cartridges as that would be throwing money down the drain. It's all in the publishers hands really. They will dictate what Nintendo does going forward.

Re: Japanese Charts: Pokémon Scarlet And Violet Dominate With Over 2.5 Million Units Sold

kobashi100

@PepperMintRex it seriously wont because the niche hardcore who scream and moan about technical issues and graphics etc etc are a super small % of people who play Pokémon. I am not saying they are wrong to moan by the way but just being realistic. Pokémon bubble isn't nowhere near to bursting. People need to stop looking at the internet and YouTube moaners as a representation of Pokémon players.

Re: "What Do I Care?" - Nintendo Hacking Mastermind Defiant As Colleague Bowser Is Jailed

@jowe_gw the music industry was dying long before streaming. Streaming was the only option left. Record sales were in the gutter and piracy was never gonna be stopped. Yeah the artists get screwed big time with streaming revenues but they were still getting screwed long before that by record labels when it came to album sales.

@jsty3105 not like artists were getting a good deal before streaming. For example a rapper would generally make 0.66 dollars for every $10 album sold. That's blatant robbery! Artists are robbed by record labels today just as bad as they were in the past.

Reality is that if there was no streaming artists would be worse off though as the public decided long ago that the Ease of getting free albums too good to turn down.

Re: "What Do I Care?" - Nintendo Hacking Mastermind Defiant As Colleague Bowser Is Jailed

kobashi100

@Yorumi piracy in the music industry did not dissappear once iTunes was released. Where did you get that idea from. If that was a true statement there would have been no need for streaming via Spotify, deezer etc etc.

The music industry had no choice but to pivot to streaming as nobody was buying music anymore and lowering the price of albums wouldn't have changed much as the availability to get it free was so ridiculously easy. Also lowering the price even more does nothing for the artists who were already making pathetic money like for every $10 album sold the aritist makes $1. How low should artists have to accept?

Re: Feature: The 12 Best Wrestling Games On Nintendo Systems

kobashi100

How do you come up with an extensive list and fail to include the best Pro-Wrestling game which is virtua Pro-Wrestling II. Also fire pro wrestling (Japanese version) on GBA.

The booker mode was amazing!

I am honestly baffled how that happens.

@zbinks there is no doubt that Virtua Pro-Wrestling II is better than the WWE games on N64

Re: EA's CEO Seems Pretty Chill About Losing The FIFA Licence

kobashi100

@dew12333 wait so you think it's that simple to just build a football game from scratch, plaster FIFA on the cover and we have a huge seller.

Dunno what planet you are living on but publishers are not hiring developers to create a new football game.

Also have you totally ignored that FIFA want $1b for the license. Which publisher do you see right now who is willing to pay that huge amount?

Re: EA's CEO Seems Pretty Chill About Losing The FIFA Licence

kobashi100

@dew12333 he has a fair point though in regards to the FIFA brand.

Also you are confused about what the FIFA license brings. It has nothing to do with clubs, national leagues and player likeness. Pro evo could have the FIFA license and it would wouldn't change a thing in regards to club licenses.

Do you not remember when pro evo had the UEFA license and they still didn't even have all the correct clubs which were in the champions League, Europea league.
