@DannyBoi so you didn't bother to read up on why this has been banned in Germany then. It doesn't take long to do a bit of research. Instead you wanna throw Nintendo under the bus lol
@westman98 they can implement TAA but that vastly increases development costs and the budget they get from the publisher isn't enough so that's why you don't see it.
Development costs and timing is one thing gamers don't appreciate when they moan about certain ports. I have no doubt some development teams have had small amounts of money and unrealistic deadlines when getting ports ready for switch.
@Davzilla guess they should be grateful that the boss at mercury steam was so kind that he paid them for the work they did. These damn workers need to show gratitude that they were not working for free. How dare they criticize there employer. They need to know there place in society.
@BloodyMurder wow! So if a female friend or family member told you she was sexually abused but didn't want to go to the police i take it you would be calling her a liar yes?
The idea that unless you go further with complaint you are liar is absurd. Do you not see how ridiculous you sound.
@John_Deacon I am amazed how people are more quick to defend corporations and business over the workers. Madness!
@Drac_Mazoku just so you know. An article has just came out in Spain and it is not a great look for mercury steam when it comes to treatment of there staff
@Teksetter fair point and yes the staff member may have known the policy when agreeing terms of employment. Doesn't mean we have to accept it's a fair policy though when showing support for the person in question.
@Yorumi who said anything about joining a mob and start attacking staff at mercury steam? I just said it's sad to see people jump to defend the employer ASAP over the employee. Not sure how that in any shape or form that supports rage attacking against mercury steam.
Why are people having a go @charliegirl for having a moral compass? Fair enough you may not agree with it but jeez, why all the hatred over a different opinion.
@piecez no that 11 months pay was not there credit. That was money owed to them for a thing called labour. Your statement implies they should be grateful they got paid.
Actually sad to see the few people on here sticking up for the employer rather than the employee. The staff have every right to question why they are not named in the credits.
There work should have been recognised and it doesn't look good for mercury steam and other development houses that take part in this practise.
@Kidfunkadelic83 you are completely wrong. EA Pay for the league's direct and has nothing to do with the FIFA license. They also pay Fifpro for player likeness which is a complete separate deal with they have already renewed.
FIFA are delusional if they think EA or any other publisher will pay what they want. EA won't pay this. More likely they walk away and instead pay for the FIFA license every 4 years for use in world cup update to the main new EA football games. Will cost EA far less and FIFA will be eager for deal when they have seen nobody is paying what they want for the FIFA license.
@PoliticallyIncorrect they don't need to sell to the whole world. Cricket is mad popular in Australia and has big enough following in England and NZ for them to make profit. Good on the studio for having faith in cricket video game software.
@FX102A if video games had more characters who were not white as main characters then maybe customisation would not be needed. Facts are though that it's still a "white is right" character driven industry.
@BloodNinja I am saying the amount of people with the same opinion as you is a tiny percent so all this Nintendo should be worried talk is some OTT jokes. But hey there is no point us debating this now. We have a different opinion and that's cool! Let's just see after 12 months of steam deck release what the numbers are saying. we can then conclude who was right and who was wrong about Nintendo should be worried!
@BloodNinja gamers like you are a tiny fraction of the Nintendo userbase. I plan to get the steam deck and at the same time I am not silly. Nintendo do not need to worry at all when it comes to market share. Steam deck's share will be miniscule
Some of the reaction in here is ridiculous. The guys unwillingly created an error. You forgot we all human and not perfect. The entitlement some gamers have is pathetic. Speak Like you lot have never made mistakes in your daily jobs.
@Spiders it's not like they signed the NDA with a gun to there heads or didn't understand what they were signing. They will have known how dangerous it would be to leak images but still did it. The punishment was probably so harsh because the judge will have seen that the two leakers were experienced in there jobs and knew all the risks etc etc but still did the crime.
There actions may have caused other people to lose jobs if the printing company has had there reputation damaged.
@BiscuitCrumbsInMyBed well none of us know for sure what damage they have done to the company they were representing. Stating they haven't hurt anyone is not a fair statement.
@SwitchForce what the hell are you going on about. You have lost the plot dude. I dunno who your response was supposed to be for but it isn't me. I have never had an issue with the switch being a switch. Not a single post ever have I said anything even close to that. You need to go back and start reading who is actually making posts you don't agree with.
@Heavyarms55 of course there is no pictures of hardware or documents. Leakers decide what they want to leak and which dates to put the info out. People like Bloomberg and Eurogamer follow them instructions as they want to keep there source within Nintendo sweet.
Let's stop the silly talk about leakers would lose there jobs. They certainly would if ever caught. The chances of that happening are minimal. Eurogamer are not gonna snitch on there sources. Also companies/sports teams etc etc from the high ups leak stuff out to the media (can be true or false).
I have no idea why your wrote that big response to me. Where did I ever say that the switch pro was gonna have all the things you just argued against. I am truly baffled how you got all that from reading my initial reply about people being unhappy that Nintendo are releasing this new machine. It's like you made up a bunch of stuff just so you could argue against it.
@AtlanteanMan yeah that's why I said it is never gonna happen as like you said the manufacturing companies don't care one bit. I am a sneaker head and have seen how Nike don't care one bit. getting new Jordan sneakers now on release for example is practically impossible unless you are using bots. As Nike have done nothing to stop bots and don't care I have decided to treat them the same and now my money goes to Chinese factories who manufacturer amazing replica sneakers.
@Heavyarms55 leakers exist in every single industry and yes it is from people who work within the companies. If you believe nobody within Nintendo ever leaks information then you are being very naive. Leaks are part and parcel of technology. Sony, MS, Apple, Google, Samsung etc etc just like Nintendo have staff leaking stuff. Eurogamer have been brave enough to confirm switch pro due to very credible sources they have.
Okay if you didn't believe it before that's one thing but to still continue with this denial is straight up delusional
@Strumpan Nintendo still would have to produce switch machines without a switch pro. The cost to produce switch pro over the current switch will now make financial sense for Nintendo. They can sell a better product for the same price as the current machine.

1. I like the steam deck but let's be real. This thing won't be any threat to Nintendo and won't effect Nintendo business decisions one single bit.
2. Lol @ Nintendo got lucky with switch. Hey I guess we can all join in with this silly talk and say Sony just got lucky with PS4 success.
