Re: Wonderful 101 Confirmed For Switch, But There's A Catch

@victordamazio so you missed the memo then. The success of this KS project isn't gonna see astral chain released on other consoles. lol

Go and read the interview Eurogamer has with platinum. Nintendo gave back the IP for wonderful 101 as Platinum really wanted to try and make the game a success 2nd time around.

Re: Rumour: Wonderful 101 On Switch Teased (Again) By PlatinumGames

Not surprised Nintendo have no interest in funding a switch port. Game sold terribly bad on Wii U. It's extremely niche and Nintendo are not gonna throw money down the drain.

If Platinum bought the IP from Nintendo it must have been cheap.

I actually can see the Kickstarter project failing miserably. Apart from 101 diehards nobody is interested in this game.

@hihelloitsme all what you said is pure speculation with no evidence to back up you're silly scaremongering.

Oh and just to stop these silly rumors about switch version being cancelled.

from today's PR from Bethesda:

Appearing on more than 350 ‘Most Anticipated Games of 2020’ lists and awarded E3 2019’s Best Action Game and Best PC Game, DOOM Eternal, releases March 20, 2020 on PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Google Stadia with Nintendo Switch releasing at a later date.

@Ralek85 nah streaming on phone doesn't interest me at all. I see it less convenient to be honest plus there is issue of battery life.

Yeah BT controllers are an option for physical controls but that's just not practical when I am standing on a train to work. Hell even sitting down it's a problem as would need something for phone to rest on.

Dedicated handheld hardware always gonna be a better option

@KitsuneNight ah the good old "lazy ports" line and now you even added there isnt enough skilled programmers.

First of all claiming the ports are lazy while having no idea how hard or little these guys worked is ridiculous. You don't know the time frame or budget these guys had to work with. Nice to see you throw programmers under a bus though.

Now onto skilled programmers. Better come up with some hard evidence that they are not skilled.
