Re: NetherRealm Ends DLC Support For Mortal Kombat 11 To Focus On "Next Project"

@Ulanda Wonder Woman looked like a man in the first Injustice. As did every other female character, especially Raven. Not every female is attractive in Injustice 2, but at least they don't look so masculine. Same thing with MK9. Sonya's jaw was so severely square, she looked like Casper Van Dean with lipstick. She is kinda fugly in MK11, but that's because she's old.
But at least she has her own face. If you look closely in MK9, you will notice Kitana, Jade, Shiva, and Sindel all have the same face. They just change eye color, makeup, and skin tone. And every female has the exact same body. They awkwardly stretch Shiva's torso a little to make room for more arms, but that's it. A pallet swap, that was already being recycled from MK vs DC. I'm sorry you don't like the new designs as much, but least X and 11 are less lazy in this regard.

@Avol @Ralizah @Daniel36 Matt Mcmuscles did a pretty good "Wha Happun?" video about the localisation of the first two Trails in the Sky games. Basically, a series of events led to a much too small company, working on a much too small budget, to translate more text than the entire Lord of the Rings trilogy. The majority of the work ended up being done by one person, working basically every waking moment of her life trying to get these things out.

Doesn't make the translation better, but it does explain why it was so bad. And later games got more money to work with.

Re: We Might See A Female Slayer In A Future DOOM Game

Could be cool. I'm picturing a more acrobatic Slayer. More parkour stuff but also for combat. Like glory kills would be contingent on player momentum instead of having to stun enemies first. More aikido looking moves too, using enemy weight against them, as opposed to just punching hearts up through their face.

Still a shooter, but take some cues from Mirror's Edge and Dishonored.

Re: EA Acquires Racing Game Specialist Codemasters

@Alpha008 I predict Codemasters Cheshire (Evolution) to be shut down around the time the ink on the contract dries. Followed by about one studio shut down (or merged in a restructuring) per year after that. Hope EA proves me wrong.
