This is just Wall Street, Wall Streeting. It's not enough to make tons of money, a company must always be making more money right now than it was at this time last year.
I think they need a smaller, clamshell lite. Something around the size of a New 3DS. Current lite is still too big to just carry around in your pocket.
Ok, the article makes an interesting point. That said, if Nintendo is going to fill SNES online with forgotten games no one is asking for, they need to be quicker about it.
@huyi Good idea. I actually just found a sealed copy of "Pump" by Aerosmith in my collection. Will part with it for a mere half mill. Anyone know this buyer's contact info?
I recently picked up Gravel, also made by Milestone. Held off due to lukewarm reviews, but it's actually a lot of fun. Like Sega Rally with a sprinkling of sim-ish elements. Made me way more excited for this game.
@Zeldafan79 I don't want to get ahead of myself here, but this will likely be the best selling game in the franchise. Unlike the Wii, people actually buy "core-games" on Switch. We'll find out soon.
@Ulanda Wonder Woman looked like a man in the first Injustice. As did every other female character, especially Raven. Not every female is attractive in Injustice 2, but at least they don't look so masculine. Same thing with MK9. Sonya's jaw was so severely square, she looked like Casper Van Dean with lipstick. She is kinda fugly in MK11, but that's because she's old.
But at least she has her own face. If you look closely in MK9, you will notice Kitana, Jade, Shiva, and Sindel all have the same face. They just change eye color, makeup, and skin tone. And every female has the exact same body. They awkwardly stretch Shiva's torso a little to make room for more arms, but that's it. A pallet swap, that was already being recycled from MK vs DC. I'm sorry you don't like the new designs as much, but least X and 11 are less lazy in this regard.
@Ulanda "Ugifying the female characters"? I thought this and Injustice 2 were the first games NetherRealm made where female character faces actually looked good. They were always boxy and man-ish before.
@Snatcher I think what they are trying to tell us, is that this game succeeds at what it is trying to do better than World's End Club succeeds at it's goals. If you are not an 8-year -old girl, it could very well be that you will enjoy WEC more.
@Crono1973 At the same time though, what was the last game about knockin' the clothes off sexy dudes in sexy armor? I imagine if that game ever got made, they would mention it in the marketing.
I played the Wario Land game at a demo kiosk and thought it was pretty good. The 3D was completely unnecessary too, so that at least would be a good one to rerelease.
I've wanted to give this a try for a while, but considering the price and my already extensive RPG backlog, I may wait and see how SMT V turns out instead.
@Avol @Ralizah @Daniel36 Matt Mcmuscles did a pretty good "Wha Happun?" video about the localisation of the first two Trails in the Sky games. Basically, a series of events led to a much too small company, working on a much too small budget, to translate more text than the entire Lord of the Rings trilogy. The majority of the work ended up being done by one person, working basically every waking moment of her life trying to get these things out.
Doesn't make the translation better, but it does explain why it was so bad. And later games got more money to work with.
@Shambo 1080 Avalanche was so good, but had the misfortune of releasing a few months after SSX3. SSX was by most measures a better game, but 1080 was different enough that both were worth playing.
Dark Arms always sounded awesome on paper, but reviews said otherwise even back in the day. Glad it's part of an otherwise solid collection. I can at least check it out, then move on to something better.
I think the review is fair and all, but just want to recommend this game to anyone on the fence. Yes, a lot of it is a bit clunky, but the combat is actually fun. That's right, an RPG where the combat is actually fun. And combat is 90% of the game.
@Jellyghost Orta was so good. Hope they rerelease that one too. Wouldn't even need to remake it. It was such a polished game already, a remaster would be fine.
Milestone makes solid racing games, but these kinds of things rarely get a proper budget and development time. Will set my interest level at "mild" until we see more.
Could be cool. I'm picturing a more acrobatic Slayer. More parkour stuff but also for combat. Like glory kills would be contingent on player momentum instead of having to stun enemies first. More aikido looking moves too, using enemy weight against them, as opposed to just punching hearts up through their face.
Still a shooter, but take some cues from Mirror's Edge and Dishonored.
@Alpha008 I predict Codemasters Cheshire (Evolution) to be shut down around the time the ink on the contract dries. Followed by about one studio shut down (or merged in a restructuring) per year after that. Hope EA proves me wrong.
The show is great, and I say this as someone who never understood why there are so many Bronies. Will play this game with my daughters if it turns out alright.

Re: SNK's Final Season Pass 3 Fighter For Samurai Shodown Has Been Revealed
@Specter_of-the_OLED Baiken is not my favorite GG character, but she probably fits the SamSho universe better than anyone else from that game.

This is just Wall Street, Wall Streeting. It's not enough to make tons of money, a company must always be making more money right now than it was at this time last year.
Re: Streets Of Rage 4 Publisher Dotemu Has Been Acquired By Focus Home Interactive
Headline had me worried, but this is more two AA publishers joining forces than an indie team being swallowed by a giant.
Re: Talking Point: Nintendo's Business Remains Strong, But Is The Bloom Off Switch Lite?
I think they need a smaller, clamshell lite. Something around the size of a New 3DS. Current lite is still too big to just carry around in your pocket.
Re: Review: Skydrift Infinity - Arcade-Style Sky Racing That's Short But Sweet
I was asking for this. Liked the original release well enough but felt it needed split-screen. Now it has it

Ok, the article makes an interesting point. That said, if Nintendo is going to fill SNES online with forgotten games no one is asking for, they need to be quicker about it.
Re: Arcade Racer Skydrift Infinity Speeds Onto Switch Next Week
My only complaint about the original Skydrift was lack of split-screen, so sign me up for this one.

Well good. Clearly some people have too much money, and desperately need help getting rid of it.

Re: Sky: Children Of The Light Is Now Available For Free On Switch eShop
@NinChocolate Lost Winds. I think it's on Steam and mobile. But the sequel, Lost Winds: Winter of the Melodias, is still WiiWare exclusive.
Re: Team17 Steps In To Publish Intriguing Action RPG Batora: Lost Haven
@Shambo Yeah, the description sounds neat. And Team 17 stepping in to publish is promising. Hopefully this turns out well.

What? They didn't do the thing the guy on the Twitter said they were going to do? SELL!
I love Wall Street.
Re: Fatal Frame: Maiden Of Black Water Jumps From Wii U To Switch And, Surprisingly, Other Platforms
Awesome. And I'm also glad it's going multi-plat. This series never seemed to resonate with the Nintendo fanbase.
Re: Kazuya From Tekken Is The Next Super Smash Bros. Ultimate DLC Fighter
Sooooooo, Tekken 7 on Switch? Or at least TTT2, that game is arguably better anyway.
Re: Advance Wars 1+2 Re-Boot Camp Reimagines The Classics On Switch
Nice. I probably won't get this as I still have the GBA games around, but cool to see something happen with the series. Hope it leads to a new entry.
Re: Metroid 5 Is Coming To Switch, And It's 2D
I was dreading (Haha! snort) that this would be a remake of Super Metroid. So hyped Dread finally got made instead.
Re: 'Super Monkey Ball: Banana Mania' Box Art And Screenshots Surface Online
@JasmineDragon Totally, Super Monkey Ball 2 is a beast. I use Dark Souls as a warm-up for that game.
Re: thatgamecompany's Sky: Children Of The Light Gets Switch Date, Season Based On 'The Little Prince'

These games would look so good in HD, and would probably sell way more now that Monolith soft is such a big name.
And I'm not being contrarian, I like BKO's battle system more than EWatLO's.
