One of many games that caught our eye during E3 week was Batora: Lost Haven, an action RPG developed by Stormind Games. The trailer above featured in the Guerrilla Collective Showcase Day 2 and confirmed the title for Nintendo Switch - and a host of other platforms - in 2022.
It seems the game caught the eye of Team17, too, as it's now been announced that the Indie giant will be publishing the game, which is certainly a coup for the development team. In the press release Antonio Cannata, CEO and Co-Founder of Stormind Games, says "it’s a natural fit as we look towards next year’s multiplatform launch".
The game description says it "combines the features of a hack & slash and a twin-stick shooter in a nonlinear interplanetary story-driven action RPG", and it looks to promise varied puzzles along with its combat.
If you have a capable PC and want to try it out it's worth taking a look at the official website for details of a closed alpha.
Let us know what you think of Batora: Lost Haven so far; we'll certainly keep an eye on it as it gets closer to full release next year.

It reminds me of Darksiders Genesis with the mix of close and ranged combat. Maybe with more depth to the RPG elements. It looks very promising. I’ll follow the updates on this one.
I definitely don't dislike what I see... Please do go on...
@Shambo Yeah, the description sounds neat. And Team 17 stepping in to publish is promising. Hopefully this turns out well.
I'll forgot about it until it pops back next year I'm sure.
it needs to release at least a month before BotW2
