If a full reboot means revamping existing characters with outdated movesets with as much love as DLC characters then sure. Characters like Mario, Link and Samus could use an update featuring their modern games' new abilities while characters like Wario feature very little from their origin games

Game's already pretty easy on Normal really, especially compared to the previous games. They give you a lot of healing items from the start of each chapter so you're pretty much never gonna die outside one or two sections where running into the boss is an instant game over
