Capcom's Ace Attorney series turns 20 this year, and the company has released a special piece of artwork to celebrate that fact.
The art showcases characters from the entire series – including The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles, which takes place many years before the famous exploits of Pheonix Wright – and if you're in Japan, you can purchase a framed canvas via Capcom's store.
The first Phoenix Wright title was released on the Game Boy Advance in Japan on 12th October 2001, and would be released in the west on the Nintendo DS in 2005. Since then, the franchise has spread to 3DS, Switch, Wii and even smartphones – and we've also been gifted with a crossover title featuring Level 5's Professor Layton.

No objections here!
Nice timing! I just cracked open the physical version of the Switch trilogy a few minutes ago and still have the plastic in my pocket. This will be my first foray into the Ace Attorney series.
Happy anniversary, Ace Attorney! Now release the other games from their DS prison!
Why is Apollo Justice in the centre? I suppose because he doesn't have a Meiji Japan equivalent to balance it out aesthetically.
I love this series!
And I'm happy they included even the Layton crossover's characters
Good to see the Layton characters are here as well
Also Gant and his ancient counterpart
I like how Auchi and Payne are just peeking out.
I love that they included Layton vs. Wright and Investigations! Please give us a new game in either!
Nice artwork. One little not nitpick per say, but is Trucy sitting on the palm of Apollo's hand?
@Tobiaku Apollo has his hand on his hip, look closer!
Lol Auchi duo got mixed up and are on the wrong side. I’m sure there will be more hair loss when they figure it out lol.
My boy Polly in the centre where he belongs. They know he is the real star.
(This is not a joke, Apollo Justice is my favourite AA game, fight me).
@khululy You are right, I missed that
Apollo finally getting the spotlight!
I really like him even though I'm not a big fan of the game, always thought they were a bit harsh in not giving him another chance to have his own game.
RIP Investigations 2 not getting a single character on the artwork, not even the best lawyer, Sebastian Debeste. Maybe next time.
Could we have a new AA game or a new Great Ace Attorney game?
Is Jussie DLC yet?
@Savage_Joe Whippersnapper!!!
It’s time for a new game. And rerelease the Investigation games.
Super Capcom Brothers Ultimate... everyone is here!
One of my favourite series. Here’s to the next game!
Can't believe best girl and loving partner Dahlia Hawthorne didn't make an appearance!
@khululy I'll take that.
Nice to see Eve Darklaw from the Layton crossover in there. Very cool artwork.
OBJECTIVELY good
Awesome group image--so many great characters!
@Pat_trick
To be fair, Spirit of Justice has a big role for Apollo, and I think it's a better game for him than AA4 was.
I am so tempted to make a everyone in this image Quercus Alba
Dang 20 years already. I've yet to ever play any of the games as they just don't seem like something I'd enjoy, but I've been hearing about it for 20 years apparently.
Most played game on my Switch this year according to the stats. Great timing.
Do you know it wasn't until this thread i just got the word play on "Payne" and "Auchi"..... Lesser known is with some fancy wordplay "naruhodo" can mean "right".....Wright.....
I love the wordplay in these games....
