Great taste Rick. Goldeneye was made by genius people. Everything in this game is about smart game design and high class. All the James Bond games after this one were just corny in a bad way.

@Arisen Huh? Sony is controlling the whole industry after the PS4 monopolistic success. That's what make the PS5 so disappointing in comparison. Sony is becoming super lazy and greedy so they stop trying. They know they have a huge fanbase that will buy anything from them even if it's mediocre.

People can't complain there's no third party support on Nintendo if there's no third party industry anymore.

Been playing my Wiiu much more than my PS5 lately. With a hard drive this thing can play natively every Wii and Gamecube games.

Always sad to see people denying the legacy of this game. Before Goldeneye 64, FPS enemies were bulletsponges aimbots. In Goldeneye you really felt like you were shooting real people with a lot of different animations and realistic behavior. It was a game with amazing game design creativity. Nothing came close to it on PS1 or Saturn.

Deathloop and Returnal are so bland in their shooter gameplay. These days journalists reward more catchy marketing material than creative gameplay.

Just game design variety. Link is the most omnipotent videogame character ever. "Dungeon" is just a name of a place. You can make dungeonic level design outside of a dungeon as Skyward Sword and Breath of the Wild did.

@BloodNinja Persona 5 is dropping lower and lower at each poll. Don't think this one is going to age well. Trying too hard to be hip, flashy and cool but becoming corny with time, like Sonic.

Kid Icarus Uprising is very close to a Treasure game in its game design. It's fast paced, feels super difficult but a good player has the potential to be invincible in it, the skill gap is huge.

@CammyUnofficial Price drops of games happen when new copies have to compete with cheaper used copies. Nintendo don't have this problem because people rarely sell their Nintendo games.

@Inaroomalone Console market in Europe was very small before the PS1. Most console players in Europe started with the PS1 and never left the Playstation brand.

The HD version feels empty and lifeless. It doesn't feel like a Dragon Quest game.

By buying it on the Switch I know my money will be used to fund more japanese games and not just western AAA like Sony always do.

@WoomyNNYes if it happened Nintendo would probably be in the same poor state as Square-Enix, Sega or Konami now. Capcom is doing ok because they manage to reach the western AAA audience with Resident Evil but they don't make as many games as they used to make. By having their own system Nintendo has much more freedom to make more games than the other japanese publishers.

It's a good game but it's not a Chrono Cross sequel at all.

People complain about inflation but these kind of stupid big numbers are the main reason for all price skyrocketing. Money looses its value when idiots get overpaid.

I prefer emulating the original PS2 version on my Xbox Series S

@Chocobo_Shepherd Yeah back then console wars between Nintendo and Sega was basically a marketing strategy to sell more hardware and expand the consoles market. Now it's more about targeting specific games of other hardware to hurt the developers as punishement for collaborating with rivals As we're seeing with SMT5 and all the fake rumors Sony fans are spreading about it to make people not buy it. It's really a disgusing behavior and gamers should sanction this with their wallet.

@MrSquee Persona 5 was supported by Nintendo who promoted it in Smash and Nintendo fans who bought it and didn't give it bad review scores. Meanwhile Sony fans don't support games on non Playstation hardware and give them bad reviews scores. Maybe it's time for fans of japanese games to stop supporting Sony as they do everything they can to hurt the japanese industry.

@MontyCircus According to Gamefaqs Gleylancer is the 44th best megadrive game. It's a great shoot'em up with great visual and sound, the main flaw is it's a little bit too easy for shoot'em up fanatics.

Does someone know how to unlock the special options in the gamecube versions of this game? I played it for hours and never managed to unlock them. And I can't 1cc this game it's just too hard.

Best water racer ever. Nothing has the same wave feeling as this game. Not even the gamecube sequel. And contrary to what the manual says Miles Jeter is by far the easiest character for beginners.

I follow the talent, not the IP. The Castlevania soul is in the Bloodstained games.

Winback is underrated. There's something awesome at assaulting a group of enemies with the shotgun in this game
