Ok we're reaching a point where Rondo of Blood is becoming kinda overrated. It's way too easy for a classicvania and the cinematics look awful, they don't feel like Castlevania cinematics at all. I'd rather listening its great soundtrack rather than replaying it.

I don't care I will call it Tactics Ogre 2 and I will enjoy it.

The physics in this game is incredible. People compare it to any generic open world but it really offers much more interactivity with the world than any other game of its category.

@Chamver I watched the God of War making of and it was mostly Cory Barlog directing actors for cinematic. Not once you see him working on creative gameplay. Do these guys really define themselves as game designers?

The amount of people who got a switch to play a portable Skyrim, Witch or Dark Souls is low. If you want to beat nintendo you just have to make a better zelda, mariokart, smashbros, fire emblem, etc.

Sony fans act like Borgs. I stopped buying Sony things after the PS3 and I was a big fan of Playstation. They've become everything people complain about Nintendo fanboys and even worse.

@Restryder But when the other bigger corporations do the same thing you magically don't have a bias against them. But I guess it's easier to target the smaller company who make less margin than the other. That's called a bias.

@Restryder It's not the graphics or the budget that make the value of a videogame. It's the game design. Games like Persona 5 or 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim have old gen graphics yet I have more fun playing them than these western uncreative AAA like Witcher or Horizon. I picked these examples because they're Sony exclusives and you seem to have an anti Nintendo bias.

With specs like that the battery charge in game won't even last 1 hour. This is the game gear problem all over again.

@Chamver Don't blame the developers. It's obvious Sony is using their big wallet to keep some games exclusives. Nintendo and Microsoft are very nice with 3rd parties in comparison.

Not really surprised to see a Nintendo exclusive being attacked about its quality before its release. We all know where these attacks come from. And in the end it does'nt even hurt Nintendo, it hurts small developers like Mercury Steam, Atlus or Platinum games. Boycott Sony in retaliation.

@SmaggTheSmug I'm a big fan of the series I played them all and I just press start during the cinematics. The game system is definitely the strong point of these games, not the story.

From a game design point of view, Bloodstained is the best. There are so much gameplay possibilities you can unlock in this one. It was a big success and sold more on Switch than other platforms with audience who hate japanese games and a sequel is already locked so I can understand why you prefer putting the light on inferior options.

@Ventilator Good. AAA are made by slaves who hate their job and all follow the same formula. It's a terrible economic model for a creative field like videogame.

@Ralizah Nintendo didn't "step in". They saved the series who was dying on PS2. And they did the same for Monolith Soft. Now instead of criticizing this you should ask yourself why Sony didn't help them while having full control of the industry and prefered favoring western videogames. People who buy japanese games on playstation are dumb and support sony's anti japanese policy.

While Sony and Microsoft videogame division make 5 times more profits than Nintendo. Yet people will keep saying Nintendo is the biggest margin maker of them.

Everything is a matter of big money now. You can tell the next AAAA will be considered better than the previous one just because it has a bigger budget development even if there's no game design idea. There's no history anymore with Sony and Microsoft. Nintendo is trying to resist to that big budget race but they can't go against the trend forever.

@iMarkU If Nintendo has the highest profit margins how do you explain the videogames profits of Apple, Sony or Microsoft are 5 times higher than Nintendo profits?

For the same reason we won't have a Sega Saturn mini or a PS2 mini. The emulation is not good enough for commercial purpose and would need a hardware way too expensive to make compared to the sale price. It's hard to make margin on hardware when you're not named Apple.

@westman98 Iceborne was the G version of Monster Hunter World. Technically it's a new episode since the G episodes are always counted separately like on PSP and 3DS.

The Switch should have much bigger third party support with sales like that. But as always the control freak megacorp Sony is blocking the japanese third party support with their big wallet. Boycott Sony to free the japanese videogame industry.
