Didn't switch on my PS5 since the electricity price skyrocketed. Playing on switch is much better for my electric bills as it's much less power consuming hardware.
@Exerion76 Kid Icarus Uprising has been specifically game designed to fit with the 3DS resistive touchscreen. I doubt you can play the game in high difficulty on a deck.
It's not for you it's for the people who never experienced it (and in the switch case it's a lot of people since it's madly outselling almost all other Nintendo consoles) Why this excuse is ok to defend Naughty Dog but not Nintendo? Weird double standards as usual to favor an american studio over a japanese one...
Never felt I was fighting against waves in Blue Storm. Waverace 64 is the best water racer ever made to me I know each waves of every tracks by heart lol.
@Serpenterror You are wrong though. Nintendo developers are on average better paid than Sony developers and Nintendo executives are on average less paid than Sony executives. Don't pretend you're fighing big bad capitalism while you're defending the worst megacorp of the industry.
As usual Sony being a control freak over an entire videogame genre. And for what? They don't even promote fighing games they just don't want to competitors to get them too. Boycott Sony if you want to save the fighting games genre.
SMK is still the best IMO. Simple and clean visuals with sharp and frame based gameplay. And the tracks aren't too long so the skill game is infinite and easily accessible for anyone. If you can't beat the Rainbow Road in Time Trial without falling you can't give your opinion about this game.
@Clyde_Radcliffe No one wanted to fund Pokemon. Not even Nintendo boss. It's Miyamoto who supported the idea against his hierarchy (which is a huge deal in Japan).
Crazy how Sonic is still successful after so many bad games. It's really a franchise that ignores death. Pokemon will probably die before Sonic at this rate.
Even after all these years he kept the spirit to make Smash Ultimate feels like an arcade game from the 90's he loved. He's a guardian of the golden era of gaming.
@Jumping_Dead yeah nintendo is the big bad guy. Meanwhile videos of Steam deck emulating PS2 and PS3 are being pulled down and it's not reported on sony websites because sony is an actual control freak big bad guy who censors the press.
Valve want people to use this thing to buy more Steam games. They probably make very little margin on the hardware. If you pirate it you break the purpose of it.
@ClamDown Actually this is why I prefer Nintendo websites. It's because they can publish these kind of cheeky stories about the company without any risk to be punished or censored. You wouldn't see this kind or article in a Sony themed website as Sony is a crazy control freak company who can't tolerate any criticism. This is why people will never consider Sony has any legacy in videogame history. There's nothing to tell because everyone is under non-disclosure agreement.
@electrolite77 More like "How Sony made more margin on the consumers than Nintendo and consumers cheered and Nintendo was still seen as the greedy side"
Another case of Sony dropping money to make a japanese game skip the switch. Boycott Sony and you will stop their toxic grip over the industry that is destroying Japan.
The videogame History Foundation never reacted when Sony decided to close down their online shop. Selective outrage as usual that makes me want more to support Nintendo against the bigger megacorps who are corrupting the industry.

Re: Random: Nintendo Censored Famous Marvel Location In SNES Spider-Man Game
That was Nintendo of America. It was largely an independant company when it came to localize games during the Snes era.
Re: Talking Point: It's About Time Castlevania: Symphony Of The Night Came To Switch
I prefer the DS games. SOTN is too easy. The first half is boring there's barely any enemies on screen and lot of rooms are just empty.
Re: NPD Results Show PlayStation 5 Outsold Switch In August (North America)
Didn't switch on my PS5 since the electricity price skyrocketed. Playing on switch is much better for my electric bills as it's much less power consuming hardware.

Re: Random: Reddit User Creates The Ultimate 3DS Emulator With A Steam Deck
Well my 3DS can do the same with like 5% of the steam deck electric bill.
Re: Random: Masahiro Sakurai Now Has One Million Followers On Twitter
@Baler Sakurai is the japanese Kojima. There's a big cult around his personality.
Re: Talking Point: What Did You Think Of The Latest Nintendo Direct?
Very disappointed they announced that Zelda spin off instead of Breath of the Wild 2
Re: Octopath Traveler Has Now Sold Over 3 Million Units Physically And Digitally
Deserved. It's a great spiritual successor of the Snes era JRPG.
Re: Square Enix Is Now Part Of A Blockchain
Good then I'm not part of Square audience anymore. Triangle Strategy is the last game I ever bought from them.

Re: Capcom Opens Gorgeous Street Fighter 35th Anniversary Website
I can't believe the death of Gorbatchev wasn't reported here considering he was in a Super Nintendo game.
Re: Masahiro Sakurai Has Launched His Own YouTube Channel About Creating Games
Lesson number one: Punish the players by making them feel the defeat hard!
T-Thanks for the advice Sakurai-Sama
Re: Poll: So, Wave Race 64 Or Blue Storm - Which Is Best?

Re: Square Enix Is Potentially Looking To Sell Stakes In Its Studios
lol so much for videogames being superior on CD than cartridges isn't it Square?

Re: Soapbox: Street Fighter II: The Animated Movie Is Still One Of The Greatest Adaptations Ever
Sure it's a great movie. It also inspired the Street Fighter Alpha games. Bison in those games is exactly like in this movie. Big and vicious.

Re: Best Switch Games For Short Play Sessions
Add Lethal League Blaze
Re: Tetsuya Nomura Reveals He Was "Picky" About Sora In Super Smash Bros. Ultimate
If Disney cared so much about the lore of Kingdom Hearts they would have fired Nomura long ago.
Re: Reminder: Street Fighter II Free For A Limited Time In Capcom Arcade Stadium
@Clyde_Radcliffe I prefer the Snes ports too as the AI cheats a lot in the arcade version.
Re: Game Freak Had Plans For 65,535 Versions Of The Original Pokémon Game
@Clyde_Radcliffe No one wanted to fund Pokemon. Not even Nintendo boss. It's Miyamoto who supported the idea against his hierarchy (which is a huge deal in Japan).
Re: Rendering Ranger: R2 Is Officially Making Its Way To Switch And SNES
It's a good game but not a 9/10. The shmup levels are way too messy.
Re: Random: Nintendo Didn't Know What A Bounty Hunter Was Before Metroid Prime
Half of Nintendo say is completely misinterpreted by translation problems
Re: Backlog Club: Week Zero - Hello (Again), And Welcome (Again) To Backlog Club
I just accepted the fact I won't play every good game ever made.
Re: Triangle Strategy Version 1.0.3 Is Now Live, Here Are The Full Patch Notes
This game is so good. Even better than Fire Emblem Three Houses imo
Re: Nintendo Highlights Another N64 Title Coming Soon To Switch Online's Expansion Pack In Japan
@victordamazio It tried to be the Ehrgeiz or Power Stone of Nintendo as 3D arena combat game but it wasn't very good. Namco is better at making them.
Re: Square Enix Officially Announces Kingdom Hearts IV
It's painful to see this beloved franchise being kept alive by people who have no idea what to do with it.
Re: Random: Here's Why Nintendo Doesn’t Want You Using The Word "Nintendo" To Describe Video Games
Me at the videogames store: "Hello I want one copy of Nintendo please."

Re: Japanese Charts: Kirby And The Forgotten Land Retains The Top Spot
@maulinks you can double that number with digital sales.
Re: Bandai Namco Has Officially Launched Its New Logo
They're preparing the merging with Nintendo so they make their logo to look like the Nintendo logo.
Re: Kirby And The Forgotten Land Is Apparently Japan's "Biggest" Kirby Launch Ever
@Hero-of-WiiU Nintendo is a rollercoaster. Far less boring than megacorps like Sony or Microsoft.
Re: Save On Sonic, Persona And More In The Sega / Atlus Switch & 3DS eShop Spring Sale (North America)
7th Dragon III is a meh RPG with a OST way too good for it.
Re: Is 'Capcom Arcade 2nd Stadium' On The Way To Switch?
people should play Progear. It's a Cave shooter for like 2 euros it's a steal
Re: Ori Developer Moon Studios Labelled "Oppressive" Workplace In New Report
That's the problem when wallet guys decide how a game should be and game designers have to obey instead of deciding what game they want to make.
Re: Super Mario Strikers Originally Started Out As A Platformer
doesn't explain why Mario is so mad when he plays football

Re: Random: "I'm Able To Trust Sony More Than Nintendo" - Japan Reacts To The Closure Of The Wii U And 3DS eShops
@Rayquaza2510 You can still download you wii games even if the store closed. I don't see why it would be different for 3DS.
Re: Random: Zelda: Breath Of The Wild Player Defeats Lynel By Bonking Him With A Rock
If you guys humiuliate Lynels too much in BOTW then Nintendo will make them even more broken in the sequel
