@Guitar_bard Atlus JRPG have the best ergonomy of the genre. Super easy to play and super deep system will all the buff and debuff options.

@Moroboshi876 Same, I only bought Terry. I think the fighter pass is more for the competitive players who want to try all characters and movesets.

@Agramonte You should support it better. There are very few Metroidvania who offer as much gameplay variety as Bloodstained. It's a true Igavania with tons of gameplay option to unlock and experiment with the shards system. It's a great game and I hope we'll got more like that.

Sony is a really a cancer. They focus so much on identitary marketing and brand loyalty that they made millions of gamers not interested in anything videogame related if Sony isn't here. They're the only company doing this in that proportion.

This game is an awesome idea, using google map to make people walk regularly and stay healthy. The guy who got this idea deserves a medal.

I don't care a game like that being too short. To me the main problem is that it doesn't copy Cybernator enough. The levels are too large, too empty, there isn't enough different patterns of enemies to face, there is no alternate game design like flying levels. It's nowhere close to the quality and ambition of Cynernator and feels like a minor game compared to it. If you like the genre there is also Ranger X on the Megadrive which is great once you get used to the gameplay and learn how to use the different weapons it isn't as hard as it looks at first.

Mario Galaxy 2 is a fantastic encyclopedia of game design ideas. If you're a game designer who lacks ideas, pick any level of Mario Galaxy 2 and you can make an entire game out of it.

I don't feel like a society where people get rich by playing videogames is sane. People complain central banks have to print more money and it lowers its value but it's a consequence of how society makes rich people who don't create any productive value at all.

The Golden Sun games were made by former Shining Force developers (great series everyone should try, Shining Force 2 and 3 are masterpieces). I doubt these people are still working in the videogames business.

The joycons aren't even profitable compared to a dualshock or a Xbox controller. They're two controllers instead of one which multiplies the cost. Another example of Nintendo making things more complex than they should.

Feel like they gave the award to the studio who needed it since Sekiro sold less than the other Souls games. And Kojima doesn't really need extra money since Sony is funding his games. The GOTY award usually gives a boost in sales for the game who wins.

@Big-Pepsi Lol where did you see Sony spend a billion a year to developers to give away their games? With half a million per games and 2 games per month on average it's more like 12 millions spent for a billion of profits. Imagine if Nintendo did that. Taking 90% of potential profits of the indie market on switch with a subscription system. They would immediatly get called out by the industry. We don't see criticism about Sony and Microsoft about that because they are control freak giant megacorp who control large part of the industry unlike Nintendo so criticizing them is asking for big troubles. But that subscription servces for "free games" is a scam that make billion of profits for the big companies and much less for actual developers. You want to play a game? Then buy and support it and don't wait a big company deciding for you what to play.

@Big-Pepsi So Sony make billions but they give like half a million to devs to pressure them to give away their games to million people. Yeah that totally not devaluate videogames and developers work. Totally worth it. Sony isn't taking all the profits of the market at all lol. If Nintendo did that it would be everywhere on the news and nintendo would be pictured as a greedy company and it would totally be deserved.

Problem is psn subscribers pay for it but then they don't buy indie games they just wait the "free game". I don't get why Sony is a sacred cow these day. They dominate the market with an iron fist while the japanese industry is doing badly and they don't move a finger to help them they just crush them with their big budget western blockbusters. Sony is far from perfect and deserve criticism too like Nintendo and Microsoft.

@Cotillion We have to decide if game design is a creative art, where people can try, experiment and fail, or a science that just needs standards and optimization for the purpose to be good for everyone.

@Silly_G I stopped my PSN subscription and got a switch online subscription. To me it has more value, it's three times cheaper and the switch has actual multiplayers exclusives unlike Sony who seem to abandon multiplayer games. I'm not interested in their "free" games. If I want to support a game I buy it and I prefer giving my money directly rather than giving it to Sony and I have no idea if the developers are retributed for the games Sony give for free.

@Bliquid Had to stop playing Death Stranding after 2 hours lol. It's the emptiest game I've ever seen. There's nothign to see and nothing to do beside farming fedex quests. How can you lower yourself to accept this? The playstation fanbase used to have such higher standards.

Follow the talent not the IP. If it's not made by Jason Rubin and his team then what's the point? It will just be an empty shell.

@Aurumonado People tell to not buy the game but they don't tell which games to play. What do you want to play in that period? Death Stranding? Shenmue 3? lol. Sure this pokemon has less content than previous entries but compared to these games its content is stellar.

@carlos82 It doesn't matter if big budget blockbusters like Horizon or Death Stranding get review bombed they will still sell millions. It's much more dangerous when it targets a niche game like Astral Chain. Nintendo is nice enough to not fund review bombing campaign against niche games like Persona 5 or Nier Automata, Sony has less scruple and target anything.

@Dakotastomp I like Sony too. You can like Sony and dislike their petty methods to kill competition and gaming variety. When you see all Switch exclusives being review bombed and PS4 exclusives being not it's easy to figure where the smear campaigns come from.

@Athodez Refusing to be third party for Sony isn't a bad move. Sony always wanted a monopoly on format and get money from every Mario and Zelda games sold. Other companies had to use format other than CD, DVD or blu ray to not have to pay big royalties to the control freak company Sony.

@MichaelHarvey It's money taken away from Apple or Google. You want quality game design? Play on consoles. Mobiles games are made by algorithms for the sole purpose to maximise profits. There's no creative freedom in mobile gaming.

Paid haters will just spam comments with the same debunked smear campaign because they want to destroy the japanese industry. Pokemon is the entry level for JRPG genre. You kill pokemon, then other JRPG like Persona or Fire Emblem will die, and this is exactly what these people want.
