Re: One Piece: World Seeker Producer Will Consider Switch Release, If Fans Request It

geheimxy

@gameboy1975 yeah i meant that's what i believe is the maximum. I would be positively surprised if it does reach that level. It's more of a 5/10 rn. And I have too many games that are considered at least 8/10 that i haven't catched up on to bother with these type of games.
Also, normally games based on anime are around that 6 or 7/10 mark. However, the Naruto Storm series, a few DB games, One Piece Unlimited Cruise & Pirate Warriors series are games that are imo 8/10 or higher. When i first saw it, I was hoping it would get close to the Unlimited Cruise series, which right now I don't feel like it.

Re: Bethesda's Pete Hines Says Switch Game Releases Have Been A Huge Success

geheimxy

@Razer Sorry but the way they handled this makes me think they don't care about the Switch. You can't tell me this port needs 5 month longer than the other versions. You also can't tell me them playing silent for literally months shows their care for the fans. I support getting more games and well-made ports, but I don't want to feel like other consoles matter more than the Switch, and the way they handled it makes me think that. They should have at least released both the DS Remastered and the DS Trilogy on Switch. But getting less and getting it a lot later just leaves me with a bad impression. I want to be treated as an equal to other consoles. Tbh the comment I posted was right after I read the news so I should have waited until I cooled down and boycotting might be extreme but I still stand by the point that Bamco handled the situation really bad and they should know about that. Peace.

Re: Bethesda's Pete Hines Says Switch Game Releases Have Been A Huge Success

On another note: I hope you guys boycott Dark Souls Remastered for Switch. Not only have they done the stuff you already heard about (hard delay, no info, letting us wait for so long, almost 6 months after other platforms), they announced Dark Souls Trilogy for PS4 and Xbox One AND it releases at the same day as Dark Souls for Switch.
Why can't every developer be like Bethesda? Bamco and FROM Software don't seem to care at all.

Re: Switch Retail Game Sales In Japan For This Year Have Surpassed The Five Million Mark

geheimxy

@Cobalt What are you talking about? Wii U had great games but too few customers, that's why they port them. It is VERY unlikely that Switch games come to the next console. Also, copying other games? Sorry, I don't see how Mario Odyssey is close to any other game out there. It's the best game of its genre in the last 10 years.

It seems like you are really biased with your opinion. How can you say "if you like Nintendo Labo or 1,2 Switch you might like the Switch", clearly choosing to ignore the greater games of the Switch? How can you list the best PS4 games and compare them to the bad Switch games?

I don't care if you like the PS4 better than the Switch. PS4 has much different games and also great titles, but these games don't even feel CLOSE to Nintendo games, so saying they copy anything is just trying to talk [removed].
I just hope you might stop trying to belittle anything that Nintendo does and stop fueling this console war that has been going on for 30 years.

Being angry all the time isn't good for your health.

Re: Digimon Survive Is A Brand New Digimon Game Coming To Switch Next Year

geheimxy

@Arnold-Kage (sry 4 late response) i was talking about their anime games tho, not "Originals" . Bandai namco is a very Talented company with great games, but so many of their anime games feel rushed and don't have any love in them. It's like they just want to make a quick buck with people who buy the games because they have Anime X in the title. I feel like more than half of their anime game adaptations are under 7/10. Depending on the team they use the game is great or bad, and anime games often get the worse Teams. That is only how i feel tho, you might feel different.

Re: Nintendo Talks Maintaining Momentum And More Announcements Coming This Year

geheimxy

@Rika_Yoshitake to be fair, Nintendo has released and is releasing A LOT of new games. Just look at how many non-ports have come out from last year until next year. I wouldn't be surprised of new ports because Nintendo clearly put in a lot of work into new games. Don't get me wrong, of course I want to see new games that haven't been announced yet, but considering how much they've done and are doing you need to remember Nintendo sadly neither has unlimited workers nor unlimited money to make one huge game that's released every month. It just isn't possible, which is why I hope they put more effort into Third parties working for them (hopefully Square Enix, Platinum games, Atlus, Sega and Capcom try to put out some stuff).

Re: Soapbox: The Best Changes For Smash Bros. Ultimate Are The Ones We Didn’t Ask For

geheimxy

People need to compare Smash to other fighting games. Comparing Tekken 7 to Tekken 6 for example, the gameplay is mostly the same. Except for combo rearrangements, rage arts and power crush, it's pretty much the same gameplay wise. The only thing that's comepletely different is the graphical overhaul and the story. The game only had like 2 new characters and even less characters than Tekken 6. It also didn't change too many stages as well. How is this a sequel and Smash Bros Ultimate is not, when it's basically new UI, new (and A LOT different) gameplay, new characters/roster (66 characters instead of 58 on Wii U, after DLC of course), new Stages, many changes to the characters, new Animations, heck even a new engine? Every single fighting game sequel has assets that are reused, even full games do it (Majoras Mask and OoT had for example A LOT of assets that were reused, but still the games had a completely different feel).
And there hasn't even been everything announced..

Re: Pokémon Core Series RPG Will Arrive In The Second Half Of 2019

geheimxy

@thiz fair enough. Imo the Switches exlclusive lineup is pretty solid. It has 5 non-port exclusives and around 6 ported from Wii U right now which is very good considering it's only >1 year old. And there are like 4 more non-port exclusives coming in the next 3 months. (Note: didnt consider kirby, fire emblem warriors, etc. because i dont like to count bad games) Thats a good figure especially comparing to PS4 and Xbox One after one year. In the end you have to like these games anyway so just counting numbers isnt enough. People always have to consider that the system is only one year old and that a lot of titles (metroid, pokemon, smash, bayonetta, etc.) And 3rd party will come. What I just wanted to say is that the Switch doesn't have a bad exclusive lineup at all, you just dislike the games. Sadly I cant help you with that tho. I hope you find the console and games you like in the future 😁

Re: Yes, Fatal Frame's Lingerie Outfits Have Been Removed From The Western Version

geheimxy

Of course they censor it. BECAUSE THERE ARE SO MANY EXTREME FEMINISTS IN THE WESTERN WORLD WHO JUST SEARCH FOR A REASON TO HATE! This will again cause an unreasonable scandal and everyone starts to cry. That's how it would be. Of course more content is better, but lets get real: Does this affect anything of the actual game? No. It's not like you have cool features only with lingerie except for maybe getting a boner (which is not the purpose of the game & if you're actually 18+, you shouldn't in my opinion actually need something like this because there are countless other ways.).
So, let's be real: Yes it's content that was cut out of the game, but in the end, it doesn't affect this game and since there are so many feminists / moralizers they don't want to get hated by them.

Re: Talking Point: Raw Power Isn't Vital to Nintendo's NX, But It Does Matter

geheimxy

I'm not sure since I don't know too much of power, but don't you need very much power to be able to play games like Witcher 3? I mean if there are less games coming out because of the power-problem, less people will buy this console. But anyway despite that Nintendo NEEDS to make sure that it isn't too hard to develop games for the NX. I've heard that some developers said developing games for the Wii U was the hardest/most challenging one out of the three next generation consoles. One unnamed company even said that they won't develop games because the Wii U is so complex. And of course, the marketing. Nintendo had problems marketing the Wii U resulting in bad sales.
