Bandai Namco's Dragon Ball FighterZ releases at the end of next month. Having been able to experience the game's beta a few weeks ago, there's not much left to do now but wait for the big release. To tide you over until then is a new four-minute Japanese trailer of the game, highlighting all of the awesome features including the story mode.

Will you be picking Dragon Ball Fighter Z when it arrives on the Switch? Were you impressed with the beta? Tell us below.

Looks cool! A game with all the bells and whistles of the PS4 version running on a handheld. I hope it sells good
I have to say it's mighty tempting, but I just rarely play fighting games (that aren't Smash Bros)... the only one I remember putting a decent amount of time in was Soul Calibur II on Gamecube, and a Japanese DBZ game which was very different from the norm as well. I still might get this, just probably not on release day, tempting as it is.
I generally can't get into fighting games like this. I tried again with Xenoverse 2 on Switch, but that game lost my interest rather quick. Like @Yosher I remember liking Soul Cal 2 on actually all 3 platforms of the era - thanks to rental stores and friends - and I liked DBZ Budakai on Gamecube. But that's about it.
Smash is more of a party game for me. One I rarely play very much on my own. But is about the only fighting game I always pick up.
Preordered! Also played the open beta and was thoroughly impressed with this version (coming from PC); solid visuals and frame rate from what I could tell. Net code was decent and is expected to improve on release. Good stuff!
I'm really looking forward to picking up a copy of this game for me this game is what I wished Xenoverse 2 would have been, Fighter Z is amazing and the graphics are spectacular.
Got Valkyria Chronicles 4 and the Xenoblade 2 story DLC to play through at that point. I'll get it later on though as the beta was tons of fun.
So much to play on the Switch, so little time, jeez! ^_^
I have watched youtube videos of this game constantly and have even subbed to youtubers who play the game almost exclusively. It looks great and fun and its a blast to watch at times. But trying out the Beta... I was not good at all. In fact, it's rare that I can excel at a fighting game at all. Other than Smash Brothers, I can never remember/understand the mechanics or combos in the game. And while FighterZ is supposed to be incredibly easy for people to get into - I don't trust that I'd be able to get very far in the game. And thats a real shame. I wish the game well, but I don't think I'll be picking it up. I know I'm the problem here, but I can't spend that much money on a game I wouldn't even be able to finish.
That video reminded me of Banzai, a late night Japanese parody show in the UK. Loads of crazy shouting, flashing and sound effects.
This and Smash are my 2 most hyped games for the rest of this year. I've not played too many fighting games outside of the 3DS Smash but this looks exciting.
Really great Trailer! Pre-ordered the game after the beta, I recommend it to anyone who loves Dragonball or fighting games.
Thay looks awesome!
Better to play on the go.
Very hyped for this game and I’ll surely get it! but since I got My Hero Academia: One’s Justice last week, I’m not sure I’ll have budget to buy Dragon Ball Fighterz on day one. Probably for Christmas if I can wait that long.
Will this include the extra DLC characters, or only the ones from the demo?
cool game - and the test seemed to run ok. Hope it does well.
Dragon Ball FighterZ, the best Dragon Ball fighting game since Hyper Dimension. So glad it finally made to Switch.
@Romeo-75 I think you made your point clear the first time
And yes, very solid game to be played with another person or small group. Extremely solid for small tournaments. The beta was pretty good.
@Dahn_, Sorry my phone had the jitters momentarily., LoL. I got in a fight with the Reply box on the screen.
