@PuppyToucher I'd love a game where they optimized it well for the Switch but i don't see why it should be exclusive?

I've played the game myself and I can say the game is really good, probably the best Warriors game I've ever played. It's imo better than Hyrule Warriors, Dynasty Warriors and the past One Piece Pirate Warriors games. While I didn't like the Storytelling (it's basically only showing the big fights and most important moments, so it's missing the big pieces in between), the gameplay is fantastic.

Almost any character feels unique since most of them have a gimmick that makes them distinguishable. For example, Kidd collects metals from opponents and does more damage the more he has, as well as the ability to shoot out the collected metal for a good amount of damage. The added aerial combat makes even more combos possible and is a much needed addition. Overall, really really solid gameplay. If you're a Warriors Or a One Piece fan, definitely try this game out, One Piece is one of the series that fits the Warriors series really well.

I have played a lot of Musou games, including the main line, Hyrule and FE Warriors and I can safely say that One Piece Pirate Warriors 3 is my favorite Musou game by quite a bit. So i'm definitely pumped and will buy this day One. I recommend buying PW3 for Switch if you haven't already (I think it's on Sale on the Mexican eshop?).

On topic tho: I disagree it being shallow as there's a lot of creativity in deck building and team formations. It leaves room for a lot of different play styles and there's no real "best" deck as everything has counters and many missions require different approaches than only 1 deck. It has well-thought out mechanics, cards and abilities which keep the game fresh and give you freedom to use your favorite cards and characters. If you're unsure about this game wait for the Demo to drop which is hopefully soon (it has been announced already iirc). But for me, who was hesitant to buy first I'd say it's an incredibly deep and fun game with a lot of content that's definitely worth your money. Personally i'd give it a 9/10.

@Wavey84 Interesting. I found DBS Broly to be top 3 DB movies from the entire franchise, and while they messed up quite a few things during the ToP arc, it was overall pretty good and I loved UI. For now, I like the direction it's heading.

I can recommend Onimusha Warlords. I played it for the first time (never played the original) and i loved it. Gameplay's extremely fun imo and Story is nice too. You should check it out if you're interested in Action Adventures / Hack and Slays.

Tbh i dont care about fortnite but this move is hella smart to keep people engaged to the game. If its done well this game might actually end up as successful as Minecraft

I like this, not because i like any of the youtubers (except maybe Ryan Higa since he's very creative), but because people like these have a lot more of a casual audience meaning they might bring in other types of players we dont really see in smash

"troll" characters are just as important as "real" characters. They are important to keep the Party aspect of the game alive

@Not_Soos I understand where you're coming from but the Mewtwo comparison just doesnt fit imo. You're acting like there have been no troll characters in the past. What about Mr. Game and Watch or R.O.B. ? R.O.B. didnt even have anything to really work with they just used his model and created moves because they didnt have anything to work with. Piranha Plant is a pretty funny troll character not only because he's very well known (everyone who ever played mario knows it), but because he actually has games and stuff they can form a moveset with. What I think was pretty bad was that he was the last character shown. If they wouldve shown Piranha plant in the last direct and the last character they would've revealed would be King K Rool instead people wouldnt have minded at all so i think the timing is the problem imo. But the direct was pretty good imo. Spirits mode looks cool, Light Mode looks really good, Online Modes look good and ranking system too so I would give this direct an 8/10. I can understand if you dont like it that much tho.

@Cobalt Hey hopefully Smash and next year are to your liking, looks RPG and Single-Player heavy so maybe you'll get more out of the Switch next year. This year were a lot of Multiplayer games so i can understand if that's not everyone's cup of tea

@Cobalt Well except for RDR2, Assassins Creed and maybe Soul Calibur 6 nothing interests me. I can get Warriors orochi for Switch, Fist of The North Star was a very big missed oppirtunity, COD might be better than its previous games but still doesn't look like it catches up to the best form, Fast Strikers doesn't seem interesting to me at all, i haven't heard of Call of Ctulhu and Resonance of Fate wasn't even that good on PS3, so i wouldn't expect too much.
In the end it's Assassins Creed Odyssey and RDR2 i'm missing out. And i have enough games to play so i'm not that sad. Hope you have fun with yours tho!

@Cobalt You're lucky that Anti-Matter exists because he makes you only the 2nd best troll here lmao. But on a serious note, Mario Party, The World Ends With You & Starlink (arguably the best version on Switch). That's 2 and a half (i count starlink as half) good exclusives.
As for Multiplatform we're getting Warriors Orochi & Dark Souls.
That's 5 pretty great games.
I would say these are better games than you listed, except for RDR2 which i'm very jealous to not have.

I would be very disappointed if they don't have any plans for any other castlevania games for Switch. I didn't expect this to come to Switch anyway.

@BigKing First of all, you're changing the point now. I was talking about how "Nintendo players don't buy 3rd party". These numbers do prove otherwise. Also, you're expecting games that came out later, on a platform with 1/4th of install base to do better than its competitor? If you compare it to the XOne most multiplatform games outsell the One. These numbers definitely show that Nintendo players buy the same as other consoles.

@BigKing Okay just for you I started comparing a few multiplatform examples.

Starting with stuff that supports your point:
Wolfenstein 2 (8%), NBA2K18 (8%), LA Noire (5%, almost same as PS4 tho), Crash Trilogy (8%), NBA2K19 and Fifa19 probably (numbers not out tho)

Now lets go over examples that say otherwise:
Shining Resonance sold more than on PS4. Dragonball Xenoverse 2 had around 25% of sales on Switch.
Fifa 18 had over a million copies sold. Doom also had around 10%. Attack on Titan 2 had the same amount of copies sold as Ps4 and One, Rocket League has over 10% of physical copies on Switch. Dragon Quest Builders over 20%, Ys 8 20%, Bomberman has over 90%, Sonic Forces 50%, Rayman 25%, Blazblue 50%.......

You want to start looking at numbers or keep on "thinking" you're right? It's a myth people kept on repeating over and over just because someone said that. Still not satisfied? I could search for more games if you want me to.

@BigKing as i said it's about sales numbers my friend. Actual sales is what matters since this means if they actually make money off it. Skyrim is one of the top most selling games of all time. Switch version sold over a million copies. That's a lot of profit. Also, you're saying that on an article which stated that Switch accounted for almost 40% sales of Valkyria Chronicles 4. In a country which isn't fond of the Switch. The fact that third parties don't sell well on Nintendo consoles is just false and many Switch games show that.

@BigKing not exactly true. Skyrim on Switch has 5% of all sales. Considering that this game came out 7 years ago and Switch doesn't have mods this is pretty good. Also companies mostly don't care about %, they care about profit.

Fun fact: Tencent, who are the developers of this game, own a majority of Riot Games. Thus, this is basically League of Legends for Switch.

@Nintendolife World of Final Fantasy Maxima comes out on 6th Nov 2018, not 2019.

I hope and pray for a surprise Bayonetta 3 trailer on TGS. Considering that the Switch is booming in Japan & TGS is the biggest japanese event, it's very plausible that we'll get something new

I mean overall i'm disappointed because of what we already said. Almost no one cares about NES games, we want an integrated voice chat, better servers. Cloud saves are mostly good since it's only few games that dont have it but that's it. And that's 3/5 points. I'm not saying it's 100% bad i'm just a bit disappointed. I'm positive things are going to improve tho.
