Ports I enjoyed (and actually completed) on Switch that I already had on more powerful systems: Divinity 2, Doom, Bioshock Infinite, Diablo 3, Wolfenstein 2, Firewatch, Dark Souls...
Ports that I sold because I couldn't enjoy it with the downgrade: only the The Witcher 3
I hear from some reviewers that the humor is bad, but I've been enjoying it so far. I've authentically LOL at times, which I never do with games. Shouldn't be a con.
I love Pikmin 3 and will def get it again... but where is my pikmin 4? Hopefully it does well on switch and a new generation get to experience its magic
Just purchased it because I've been waiting and want to support them. I don't think he's telling you guys not to buy it, he sounds more concerned he didn't get to market the release. How bizarre they kept them out the loop.
This was such a tease for us Americans Nintendolife. I was so happy till I clicked our Amazon and Bestbuy link to still find it Soldout or $300 by scalpers...
Spent hours with this game on my mac. But never beat it. Too vast, and I can never sit at a computer desk for too long. Will eat this up on the Switch though. It's the best tactics game every made imo.
Love the lighting in the Kokora forest village. I tried playing this on my Wii U (using the Wii drive), but stopped halfway through because the jagged edges were killing my eyes after 40 hours (and learning I had another 40 to go).
June 5th! Ugh, I was hoping they were going to release in April. I'll be tired of video games by the time we're allowed to leave our holes. Love from San Francisco
I already had a Switch and my 6 year old has a Switch Lite. I did buy 2 copies of Animal Crossing which was hard to swallow at first, but we've been having a blast playing in quarantine this way. I'm up late when I play and will send him gifts that make his morning. When we visit each other it's a big occasion before bedtime.
We've been in lockdown in San Francisco and Animal Crossing has been the answer. I actually bought 2 copies so my son and I can have our own island, and visit each other. It's another $60 to do that but it has been absolutely worth it and I'm sure the value will stretch beyond a year. What a cathartic game in these times.
For you readers and aspiring game makers; read the book 'Blood Sweat and Pixels', if only for the chapter about Eric Barone making Stardew Valley. Inspiring story!
@Doktor-Mandrake This will seem nerdy; but make a Google Doc of all your games. Rank them by metacritic score. Then organize them by length (Howlongtobeat.com). Then set up a playlist of only the ones you'd like to beat (I list mine by shortest length but with my highest rated games). Don't buy any new games until you've completed one. This has been a good system for me! -chronic buyer
I would not have agreed in 2016, with games like Witcher 3.... but after playing through it, and seeing it's impact, I fully agree. Even though it killed me, I want to play through it again. Not many games do that for me, even Witcher 3.
With originally not knowing ‘WHEN’ I jumped ahead and got it on PS4. Loving it but so hard to sit down and enjoy games locked to a TV. I think I’ll double dip on Switch. It will be a great handhold game to do short spurts in. Ton of talking and dialogue that suits the Switch too. I maxed my character on dialogue and other clever perks so I’ve avoided about 90% of confrontations.

Re: Review: Liberated - An Atmospheric Comic Book Take On Grim Dystopia
Reminds me too much of how my city San Francisco looks right now. Hard miss.
Re: The Outer Worlds Publisher Reveals Performance And Resolution Of The Switch Version
A daaaammmn I wasn't planning on double dipping as I have a PS4 version I never play, but with Gyro controls, I guess I have to!
Re: Feature: XCOM 2's Creative Director On The Challenge Of Bringing The Series To Switch
I'm so nervous for all these 2k games... it shows no confidence that they didn't advance copies to any journalists.
Re: Multiple Amazon Listings Hint At Unannounced Switch Games From Several Major Publishers
I've been patiently avoiding my second playthrough of Fallout 4 for it to be Switch. Hurry up already!
Re: Borderlands Collection Becomes Free On Epic Games Store, One Day Before Launching On Switch
Hmmm, terrible marketing or are these ports absolute garbage? Can't believe we haven't seen any preview codes out there.
Re: Impressive Aerial Shot Of Super Nintendo World's Construction Surfaces Online
Looks pretty small. I was expecting there to be a Donkey Kong world, and Hyrule.
Hopefully they expand like Disneyland did through the years.
Re: Blimey, Donkey Kong Country 2 Looks Lovely In HD
Wow wow wow! Do it Nintendo!!
Re: Random: What's Up With That Metroid Reference In The Paper Mario Trailer?
What if this trailer was originally for the Direct, and the video after this one was a Metroid trailer (trilogy, 2D, something). Seems logical.

Re: Zelda: Breath Of The Wild Voted Among The Top Stress-Relieving Games In New Study
Animal Crossing has been like medication for me during quarantine though.
Re: Zelda: Breath Of The Wild Voted Among The Top Stress-Relieving Games In New Study
Not that EA Madden was on the most stressful list and the most relaxing list. They only surveyed 1000 people. This not that broad.

Re: Nintendo Goes Big With Latest Animal Crossing: New Horizons TV Ad Campaign
I hate watching their kid commercials because it makes me feel irresponsible for already playing 60 hours.
Re: Stunning Platformer GRIS Surpasses One Million Copies Sold
I've had this for a year and never played it (besides testing it for 5 mins). Tonight I will get stoned and beat it for it's celebration.
Re: Random: Finally, You Can Play Dark Souls On Switch The Way Nature Intended
PRAISE THE SUN! Think I'm ready to dive back into my new game + then. That B - A switch bugged me through my entire 60 hour journey.

Re: Gallery: New Screens Show Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition's Gorgeous Environments
Now port Xenoblade Chronicles X, and make it truly MULTIPLAYER on Switch. It'd be incredible!

Re: Super Mega Baseball 3 Hits The Switch Next Month, Includes Cross-Platform Play
Part 1 and 2 are the best baseball games in decades, and perfect on Switch since you can save a game midway. Will def pick up 3.
Re: Feature: The Most Relaxing Switch Games - Chill Games For Nintendo Switch
This list is missing my #1 hangover game - MINECRAFT.
Stardew Valley in for 2nd.

Also Skyward Sword in HD without motion controls so I can finally finish it.

I liked them all.... except that rubber tube, basement boss. That was infuriating.
Re: Review: ESP Ra.De. Psi - The Best Shmup On Nintendo Switch, Period
Finally got my copy, bought it physical on Playasia. Man, what an amazing game, and not about shmups at all. Thanks for the tip NL.
Re: Gallery: A New Batch Of Lovely Animal Crossing: New Horizons Screens For Your Viewing Pleasure
I thought Stardew Valley would encourage this game to add more elements to the gameplay, but to be honest it looks so similar to the past two.
Re: Universal Creative CCO Says Super Nintendo World Is A "Living Video Game"
Starting a piggy bank now to make this trip... but I have to take my 2 sons so that's a lot of money!

FINALLY! Now bring on Mass Effect trilogy you idiots
Re: Feature: Game Of The Decade Staff Picks - The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt
Game of the decade for me too. Plowed through main campaign on PS4, and taking my sweet time on Switch.
Re: Feature: Nintendo Switch Ports We'd Love To See In 2020
Would You Kindly port The Bioshock collection to Switch please.

Re: Divinity: Original Sin 2 - Definitive Edition Is Receiving A Limited Run Release On Switch
Damn, I bought this day one, but may need it on physical. It's a massive game.... (I'm 55 hours in and think I'm half way through. Love every moment).
Re: Feature: Best Nintendo Switch Short Games
AMAZING LIST! I'd add
The Count Lucanor,
Little Nightmares,
The Final Station

Divinity Original Sin 2 has been my nonstop since it came out.
Luigis Mansion 3 has been my game this weekend with my son.
