So sad to see the poor reviews and user experience with this. Love the artwork and passion that went into it. Wish they handed it off to an experienced team for the game mechanics.
Ni No Kuni 2 and Eastward already pre-ordered for Physical versions. (Eastward physical doesn't ship until Nov 25, so plenty of time to finish NNK2 and M Dread first)
@Supahfly I got Long Dark recently and it's a little slow start for me, but I'll stick with it.... I might have a bit of survival fatigue blasting through the Subnautica double pack haha
I went through 2 hours of hell trying to pre-order the Oled just to find out about this gem an hour after? Uh, I know what I'm ebaying. Sorry Nintendo.
My love for Exploration, Building, and Survival Horror has turned me into an absolute Survival Games lover. Completed Flame in the Flood, Windbound, and already have 35 hours into Subnautica on Switch. It's the best survival game I've played yet. Will need to try The Long Dark next.... is it worth "beating" Minecraft?
@Highlar Same! I'm def going to get Subnautica on Switch. It'll be perfect to chip away at the way you mentioned. I'm married so being able to play next to my wife while she watches her shows instead of hiding in another room has been great
@Highlar I'm the same way! I've done it so many times... it's mainly with survival or open world games where the PS4 would have far better graphics, but I would prefer that mobility option. Here's a list that I dabbled on PS4, but completed on Switch: Outer Worlds, Flame in the Flood, Firewatch, Ashen, Windbound, Doom, Divinity 2, Dark Souls.... damn thats alot of wasted money.
@badmotorfinger74 Same. I got it at launch of the PS4 but only got halfway through. Got it on Switch after the patch and casually played on the couch until I beat it.
Loved ME3 on the Wii U! Its the only one I played, but I heard ME2 was more sprawling, and RPG like in it's NPC locations. Would love to have that on the Switch since I missed it on 360.
Limited Run are the worse though. I bought my Gris copy in the summer and still haven't received it. It's suppose to be a birthday gift for my brother in Feb... jesus guys.
@TheFrenchiestFry Same. JFO had that special mix of something new, but paying good attention to the world of Star Wars. I felt the same way about Rogue One, pretty much the only new movie I liked.
@nessisonett yeah, Fallen Order is amazing. I played all the "story" games as a kid, and it was fun initially, but then you just got mad at all the stuff they added or left out... then just went and watched the movies again.
@Clyde_Radcliffe yes totally! I hate deleting and redownloading just to stay organized! On my WiiU I used to have my CURRENT GAME on my home screen, then a folder for games that are next or that were in-progress. Then I had all the COLLECTION games in folders like SNES, Wii, Indie, Multiplayer, etc. Man I miss folders.
@RustedHero hehe totally. I have a big SD card too, but I get decision fatigue looking at my home screen seeing so many games, even though I was enjoying the last one I played. I have about 5 long games where I'm 3/4 through, and it's exhausting to see them all. So I'm deleted them except for one, and will download them each as I complete one.
My tactic now to focus: delete all games off the menu besides my go-to Multiplayer, and ongoing sandbox game. Then only one AAA game, and one indie game I intend to beat. It's working. I made a google doc with my completions haha
Just got Stadia to play cyberpunk and it's pretty damn smooth after 2 hours. I might have to do this hack on my Switch so I can be on the couch enjoying it. I'm sold on cloud gaming for new big games.
I'd cloud this game for $20. Or maybe if it was part of a monthly subscription. But can't pay $40 to be anchored to my Switch at the mercy of the server. Especially when this game is $19 on PS4 now.

Re: Soapbox: The Term 'Indie' Is Losing Meaning, But Maybe That's A Positive Sign
I feel like the same thing happened in FILM a long time ago. "Indie" films now have super stars, and financial backing from big studios.
Re: Limited Run's Axiom Verge Physical Releases Open For Pre-Order This October
Limited Run take ages to get their games out. They have ruined two birthday gifts for me after ordering 8 months out.

Looks fun! Need something to fill my Subnautica void.
Re: Video: The Complete Story Of The Metroid Series
Only beat the Prime games, which are littered with lore and story. Didn't realize the older ones packed so much too.
Re: Rumour: Metroid Prime Trilogy For Switch Ready To Go, According To Industry Insider
A marketing beat for Metroid 4!? I hope not. Give us enough time to beat all 3 or space it out. geez.

I would rebuy this in a heartbeat
Re: Talking Point: Everyone Has A Bad Game They Love, So What's Yours?
More recently I would say WINDBOUND. Got hammered in reviews, but I loved my time with it and spend way more hours on it than most AAA games i play.
Re: Poll: What's The Best Metroid Game?
1. Metroid Prime (GC)
2. Metroid Zero Mission (GBA)
3. Super Metroid (SNES)
