It's not a 10 to me but it's a good game.

Not really a game for me at this point in time. If I had a bunch of mates with switch consoles I would probably have a go though.

Coming into AAA season so eshop is going to have to take a back seat. Odyssey, Skyrim etc get my limited cash in run up to Christmas.

Wasn't 3d just a tacked on novelty? Low res seemed to hinder it as well.

I used it occasionally but just like 3d TVs not everything works well and i think most people leave it off because it's just easier.

Actually you can buy a nintendo official car headrest attachment at EBGames right now.... You cant get one that hangs out into the centre seat position though.

These controllers suck, 8bitdo is the only way to go.

The AA batteries should send you running to 8bitdo alone. Who wants aa batteries? Rechargeable is simply mandatory nowadays.

Deserves a 3/10. Game was broken at launch and still has bugs. I'll be ignoring this game.

I doubt they've managed to print all the physical copies with this massive patch which means in 2 decades time this game will return to being an unplayable mess with no patching available. Once upon a time you couldn't patch poor games.

Why 2k didn't delay release I will never know. They could have avoided this mess.

I want a GBA mini. But I will also accept GB and GBC mini.

Eh warriors game is not fire emblem just because it has a fire emblem skin over it.

@SLIGEACH_EIRE I think the joycon are great on the console, but yes separate they suck. Kids dont mind them though. No good for adults, agreed there. The first thing I did was buy a pro controller, I only use the joycon on the bus.

Still have not bought any neo geo games on my switch... still do not intend to.

The perfect system to play SNES games on the go finally comes around, nice big screen, and can play on the tv when i get home... But no SNES games. No GBA games. No GBC games. No NES games.

Neo geo games. Not even nintendo, not why I bought a nintendo switch.

Could be the perfect system. I have high hopes for the VC whenever it is finally announced in whatever form. As long as it includes the snes games we all want how can they go wrong? But Nintendo, so who knows.

I remain hopeful. About as hopeful i will ever see secret of mana 2 and mother 3 in english.

I deliberately waited since way back when Switch was still the NX to buy this game on a Nintendo System. I held off buying it on steam with every sale because I knew this day would come. Boy am I glad its out now, its a great little game for sure. Saving times every time you click on the bed are horrendous, but that's my only issue.

The other serious probleem i have is splitting play time between Stardew and Golf Story... Terrible decision to release all of these great games at once!! Plus Volgarr is out and Thimbleweed and Mario and Luigi Superstar, and Metroid Samus Returns, and Culdcept next week, plus Axiom verge but im waiting for the multiverse physical release, and Oxenfree looks good too and the SNES Mini!!! Gee whiz nintendo does nothing for 5 years then hits me up the face with 5 yrs worth of games in a month! Not to mention Mario Odyssey Yesee coming out soon....

Already have it on 3ds and I have to say I didn't find the game all that great. It's not bad but it didn't hold my attention past a single 30 minute play... Not sure I can really see the point in a physical release for this one.

The multiverse edition has a release date of 31 dec 2017 on ebgames website. I cant wait, im going to pre-order that and download the eshop version.

Needed to have more RPGs. Terranigma and chrono trigger should have been mandatory and maybe breath of fire 2.

You can play roms on the retro freak already, this is a little bit pointless.

The current switch eshop interface is a disaster. The Wii u and 3ds eshops are much better. The switch user interface is nothing short of terrible as well, why do I have to hold the power button down and scroll down to an option to switch the stupid thing off every time!

Looks like a lump of junk. Another famiclone. Good luck buying this and the 20 snes games the mini has for less than a mini. As I have said before you are comparing a different device from a different market. This could only appeal to those who already own enough original carts to utilise a clone console... Even then I feel sorry for anyone who buys this, original hardware much better.

@Hikingguy You were right, Shovel Knight has the booklet! Just the regular version. Also has the download code for the soundtrack.

Just hope it doesn't have the same dumb knuckles from the latest tv series... Ugh! They ruined my favourite sonic character.

@Hikingguy I'm definitely going to have a better look at my shovel knight case when I get home tonight but I can't recall any manual in it. Maybe you have a collectors edition of some kind? If so I need to get one of those because I adore that game it's amazing. I just wish the Wii u version and the 3ds one had the battletoads boss in it! Come on I mean it was a Nintendo Game and they released the boss exclusive to ps4, makes no sense and it's just unjust!

@Hikingguy I used to read the manual on the way home from the shops too! We always had the manual handy playing a new game. I also still have our sticky taped together Zelda map with all of the secrets marked bacause dad bombed every rock and burnt every tree, literally every one that you possibly could reach. Manuals were great and eliminated unnecessary and boring tutorials.

Also my Wii u shovel knight has a one page card, no manual 😓

Pre ordered mine like 3 months ago thru ebgames and got it on launch day as always. Pretty reliable. My wife pre ordered me one as well juet in case, so going to give it to my nephews.

@joey302 I wasn't guessing. I have every SNES game on an SD card. You need more than 512mb.

@joey302 unfortunately the entire SNES library is many GB in size. You won't fit it all on the SNES mini.

Famiclone. Cheap. Will have a totally rubbish upscaler and make the whole experience bad.
