I don’t understand these. They run like crap and look good, but feel really unnecessary. 4K is already debatable whether or not it matters too much, but 8k is just extremely unnecessary. 8k TVs would have to be huge for you to notice a difference. The mod also
removes some of the spirit from the original.

Idk why Nintendolife keeps reporting on these since they have already made (at least) one article on pretty much the same thing about a year ago. It’s not really news.

Y’all should play the picross game they have on Nintendo switch online. It’s for the snes and it’s a lot of fun. Probably pretty similar to this but minus the hints. It is in Japanese so the congratulations after getting several puzzles done can’t be read by us no Japanese speakers, but the rest of the game has almost no text so it’s still playable.

Pretty sad that we have to say that a character is going to be able to be unlocked through normal gameplay. Also this game looks awesome. Never played monkey ball before, but it looks like a blast.

Pretty sure he just doesn’t like his players staying up late before games playing video games. Fortnite was used because of several of the players on his team playing it.

@Browny Yeah I think this site is stuck in some sort of bubble and thinks that everyone else is in it s well. Especially considering how few of these were for sale. With 7 billion people in the world 20,000 is a drop in the bucket (not trying to disvalue lives, it’s just true). Of course we clicked on the article so seems like the article served its purpose.

Europe, the other two are literally the same other than the different ways that they are set up. Honestly they all are bad, but Europe at least has racing in it.

@GrailUK Nothing beats good old fashioned couch coop. There’s no mimicking it digitally. It just isn’t as fun or chaotic.

@Mystique @Clyde_Radcliffe It’s more of a co-op game. When you play by yourself it’s a decent puzzle platformer, but when you play it with a friend it’s an absolute blast. You can cheese some of the puzzles and it’s really fun to mess each other up. Just total chaos.

@Clyde_Radcliffe It does have music it just doesn’t always play, but can change the music to always play if you want in the settings. The music is also pretty good.

Ahhhh, why must I be cursed with this decision. I already have ctr and the trilogy on PlayStation but I don’t play on the PlayStation very much so this would be great for switch and I’ve been looking into buying crash 4 for a while. However crash 4 is currently on sale on PlayStation for $35 and I’m not sure if I want to sacrifice the graphics and frame rate on crash 4. Most of the time I don’t really mind lower frame rates, but crash 4 seems like that extra frame rate may help with the harder nature of the game.

What a terrible idea. I’m sorry, but have you seen our society. Do you want games to have racists in them? Because that would reflect our society (not saying that everyone is a racist). That thinking also essentially says “no” to creativity. Games are an escape and don’t need to reflect society. That’s a narrow minded thinking.

@Bret I still don’t see how it could take 8 months. If you were to route everything beforehand I imagine it would maybe take (30-40) hours to do.

It does sound like fun though.

Am I missing something because this doesn’t sound that hard. Maybe it takes some time but I don’t think this would take 8 months to do (even with having to get all of the towers). The map is just so big that I don’t see it being a problem. Also this isn’t about not stepping in the same place twice this is about not crossing paths because otherwise you could fly over a spot you had previously walked on.

What if we could just ride a n-airing falco like this. Would make fighting falco so much better.

@Screen Grubb is usually pretty spot on. I’m pretty sure that he was one of the few not harking on the switch pro and just mentioned the oled screen. He’s also gotten several Nintendo directs spot on. Probably the only leaker that I ever listen to.

@ModdedInkling I thought that their products have been getting cheaper (not necessarily in quality, except for the joy-cons, but rather in price). Especially when you take into account inflation I believe their stuff is cheaper than it previously was.

@TheFrenchiestFry Other than the parts that weren’t the story being told, the bottled air and crap, the Lorax was pretty good. Of course they had to throw in all the extras and ruin it. I didn’t mind the grinch. It wasn’t terrible. Just not as good as it could have been. AND of course, they couldn’t just use the original grinch song (or at least remaster it)— they had to make that horrible rap version. It makes me sad. That was what I was looking forward to the most about the movie.

Well I have no reason to get this. Honestly it seems more like another option for people without switches who have some extra money.

Isn’t that LEGO game really short. It looks like fun but if it only takes 3-5 hours to beat then I can’t justify that purchase.

I know some these games have a lot of people looking for them, but these all seem really niche or at least they are to western audiences.

@Bolt_Strike The adventure games are amazing and this is coming from someone who has no nostalgia for them. I played them within the past year and they are really good. They are just really fun to play. The main problem I have with them is how cringy the story cutscenes are, but beyond that they hold up extremely well.

@sleepinglion The problem with that is if the game gets shown off and it doesn’t live up to the hype then everyone will freak out. If it looks really good then people will be happy, but if another year or two goes by until it comes out afterwards people will be mad that it’s not out yet. Then they will blame him for showing the game too early and that he should have waited until closer to release. The problem isn’t him. It is Nintendo for announcing the game too early and people getting too hyped about a working title.

This game seems like more of a $40 game. 50 is a bit steep.

I think this doesn’t hold much value due to New Nintendo Switch Pro most definitely not being the real name. Nintendo isn’t going to use pro in the name, but it wouldn’t surprise me if they announced a new switch at e3. Now all the nonsense about 4K resolution is kind of ridiculous. If it’s upscaled then maybe, but what would be really good would be 60fps breath of the wild.

Surprised at how many people like the Japanese one. It definitely represents the game better, but the NA cover just looks so much more epic.

@Snatcher Apex legends at the very least runs on switch but it isn’t necessarily playable in a competitive sense. You can’t see anything when playing and the geometry is super deformed, but it is amazing that they got it to run on switch. I just wish that the resolution were higher.
