Re: Mario Kart Tour Celebrates MAR10 Day With "The Mario Tour"

This is why Nintendo should make a switch Mario kart game that is more like tour. Different tracks and new skins constantly added and changing. They could add other Nintendo characters and tracks related to them. I know micro transactions suck but that would be the only way this would work (sadly) but it would still be amazing. As long as there wasn’t that weird points system.

@Maxz Hmm I guess that makes sense. Not entirely sure that I understand it, but that’s probably the point. It is beyond what the human brain can handle when it comes to philosophy which is probably why we enjoy thinking about those things the most.

@ThanosReXXX Honestly it seems to be whatever you want. Everyone seems to have a different answer. My theory is that the point of it is to show our desire to make something out of nothing. To think about things that make no sense and expect to understand them. The difference between a duck is that there is no duck.

Re: Stardew-Like Coral Island Wraps Up Successful Kickstarter With $1.6 Million Raised

This is just 3D stardew valley. The music even sounds similar. Quite close to some of the stardew valley tracks. Also looks pretty unoriginal other than maybe the character art, but that has been done in other games. It seems pretty clunky too. I think my main problem with it is the lack of energy put into it. I’m sure they worked hard on it, but it doesn’t really stand out from stardew valley.

Re: A Journalist Asked Actual Kids What They Thought About The "Kids Play Too Many Video Games" Argument

@Rhaoulos I may have been the parents, but it could also have been from experience. If you look at a screen too long it will make your eyes hurt. I doubt that they meant that their eyes would actually die. You could make the argument that they’re just 11 so how could they know, but my brother who is currently 12 knows that it will hurt your eyes. Kids aren’t stupid they just get treated like they are so they act it.

Re: Best Of 2020: Super Mario Galaxy 2 - 10 Years Of Nintendo's Straightest, Greatest Sequel

@Ralizah Honestly think that it’s the other way around. Galaxy’s observatory feels lifeless and empty. It’s also quite annoying with how big it is and especially near the end where it takes so long to get to the top. Eventually you get the shortcut, but it’s still annoying. The star ship Mario is small, but there are a lot of little secrets. One thing that I do prefer over galaxy 2 is that the levels are more open in 1, but there is no reason to explore in that game. Nothing interesting to find. Galaxy 2 was genius with the comet medals because it game a reason to explore and the felt satisfying to get and the few open levels in galaxy 2 are amazing.

Hyrule warriors looks very good. The cutscenes are awesome. Especially that opening one. I really hope that it doesn’t create a timeline split again because that just gets annoying. If it does though then they could just make that timeline a warriors timeline only so that they could make their own stories. Would be pretty cool if they did that.

Re: Warner Bros. Halloween Sale Offers Lots Of Lovely Switch Discounts (North America)

@WickedUnicarnBoi Yeah the force awakens was really bad. It had some good parts, but overall it had too much filler. Never played the ninjago game, but the LEGO marvel super heroes 2 game wasn’t that good. Lots of good ideas but several of the levels are just slogs and I never got past them. The incredibles game was good and I really liked the city areas having a gang take over, but the levels weren’t that interesting in my mind. The dc supervillains game was the first one I had played after Batman 3 so all of the new mechanics that got introduced slowly over the past few games were all new to me and it was really fun. Idk how it would be to me now tho. The older ones were really good. I think it was the simplicity of them which makes the repetition fun and it doesn’t always point out what you should break which made the puzzles actually somewhat hard even if it was just finding the right block.
