Switch already has a lot of games I want to play and replay. Some on my wishlist for the switch and switch 2
1. Fallout collection. Fallout 1-3, tactics, New Vegas, and 4. The first two and tactics would be perfect for what Nintendo brings with the Switch
2. The rest of the Dragon Quest games including 7.
3. Chrono Trigger or in the vein of Star Ocean Second Story R
4. Zelda remasters for OoT, MM, WW, and TP.
5. Metroid prime 2 and 3 remaster. Metroid prime 4
6. Cyberpunk 2077 complete collection ported from PC. If the Switch 2 is going to have DLSS and Ray tracing, what better game to launch with the Switch 2 to show off what the hardware can do so far?
7. Witcher 3 upgrade patch for the Switch 2.
8. A Marvel licensed Capcom collection. Bring all those epic Marvel fighting games from the 90s to the Switch or switch 2.
9. Disgaea 2. This one seems to be NIS red headed step child. One of my favorites out of the series .
10. Final fantasy tactics. Need to have this one on switch
There’s been two that I couldn’t remember since I first saw and played them in the 90s.
One of them, I finally found on GOG. Game is called Meat Puppets. Looks cheesy now but it looked great when 15 year old me saw it in a Software ETC store.
Another still escapes me to this day. Back in 97, my dad was still buying me pirated PC games. The name of the game starts with a D. It kind of looked like Zelda OoT. Even read a review in PC Gamer mag. But I can’t find the name of the game from any abandonware sites, Steam, GOG, or from PC Gamer. I remember playing it and how bad it performed on my PC.
My only problem with the release, is that there is no option to setup dedicated servers nor join them. But the OG version, you can. But I’ve only played the release on PC.
I just hope we don’t get another console where we have to rebuy all our games. If it’s the same CPU architecture, sure BC could work. If not, hope Nintendo’s emulation skills are great.

Re: Review: Wild Card Football - An Ambitious Take On Gridiron Lacking A Full Deck
Since Krapernick is front and center, I think I’ll take a knee on this one.
Re: Persona Collection Now Available On Switch eShop, Contains P5R, P4G & P3P
Been playing through 4 the last month or so. Haven’t made it to November on the PS2 version.
To me, I like the TV world more than the Tartarus. Characters and music are better in 3.
5, love everything about this game.
Re: 3DS And Wii U Online Play Ends In "Early April" 2024

Persona 4. Never finished it on the ps2 so having it on the switch is great. So far, I’m at he end of summer break.

Yep, this is what happens when companies buy up IP and consolidate.

Re: Gotham Knights Has Been Rated For Nintendo Switch
I’d rather see Origins get a switch release date over Gotham Knights.
Re: Castlevania: Nocturne Gets Main Trailer Ahead Of Netflix Launch This Month
@Arawn93 Thank you. If race swapping is no big deal, let’s recast Nick Fury back as a white guy. It’s all fiction, so no big deal bro?
Re: Castlevania: Nocturne Gets Main Trailer Ahead Of Netflix Launch This Month
@huupawel I didn’t even know there was a season 4. Really did not like season 3 so I stopped paying attention.
Maybe because season 1 & 2 are so good IMO.
Re: Castlevania: Nocturne Gets Main Trailer Ahead Of Netflix Launch This Month
First two season were amazing and then season 3 happened. I’ll give this one a chance if it leads into SOTN.
Re: Nintendo Reportedly Showed 'Switch 2' Demos To Developers At Gamescom
Hopefully someone isn’t blowing smoke up our butts when it comes to the Switch 2. Would be sweet if we got that type of console.

@DogDetective well, the ones who were trolling and making fun of fans, they can enjoy updating their resume.
Re: Saints Row & Red Faction Developer Volition Shuts Down After 30 Years
Crazy that one bad game can cause your studio to shut down.
Re: Atlus Mobile RPG 'Megami Ibunroku Persona: Ikuu no Tou Hen' Coming To Switch

Re: Baldur's Gate 3 Surpasses Zelda: Tears Of The Kingdom As 2023's Highest-Rated Game "So Far"
Props to the devs of BG3 for making a game that doesn’t have:
Microtransactions, in-game purchases, paywalls, gamepass, and required internet connection
Story and some of the dialog is meh from what I read. But the studio deserves props for making a game that doesn’t treat their players as a ATM.
Re: Review: Quake II - Another Truly Outstanding Remaster Of An FPS Icon
My only problem with the release, is that there is no option to setup dedicated servers nor join them. But the OG version, you can. But I’ve only played the release on PC.
Re: Boom! Quake II Is Now Available To Download From The Switch eShop
The first quake remaster was awesome. So I don’t doubt this will be as good. Plus lots of content for a release.
Re: Boom! Quake II Is Now Available To Download From The Switch eShop
I long for a new Linux physical edition for this game.

Re: Final Fantasy Developers Reminisce On IV, V, And VI In Anniversary Chat
I got half way into FFVI back in 2008 when I played it via emulator. Lost my save file and didn’t reattempt to play it again.
Maybe I’ll eventually pick up IV, V, and VI once I’m done playing through most of my switch games.
Re: Nintendo Expands Switch Online's Game Boy Color Library With Two Zelda Classics
I bought Ages when I was in high school. But never finished it. Playing through it again like it’s 2001.
Re: Mortal Kombat 1 Reveals Six Fighters In Official Kombat Pack DLC
@RubyCarbuncle me too. AAA game companies love to nickle and dime gamers who buy into this crap. And the gamers love it.
Re: Mortal Kombat 1 Reveals Six Fighters In Official Kombat Pack DLC
Game isn’t out yet and we have a DLC announcement. LMFAO.
Re: The Witcher III On Switch Finally Gets DLC Inspired By The Netflix Series
This game is in my top 5 favorite games since the turn of the century.

Re: Feature: 21 Vintage Nintendo Games You Can Now Only Buy For Original Hardware
@theModestMouse
Indeed. We are not given the legal means to purchase these games from Nintendo and other developers. So who are we hurting?
Re: Feature: 21 Vintage Nintendo Games You Can Now Only Buy For Original Hardware
This is why emulation is important for game preservation.

@Zuljaras It’s very influential and I was addicted to battlenet until they opted for the realm system when Diablo 2 was released.
Re: Random: Fan Transforms Their Nintendo 64 Into A StarCraft Battlefield
@Zuljaras
As someone who was addicted to SC1 from the first month of launch until 2003, this is an absolute work of art.
Re: Poll: What's Your Game Of The Year Of 2023 So Far?
I don’t play many newly released games. But, only new game I’ve played the last few years is TOTK. It gets my vote.

Re: Random: This Fan-Made Recreation Of The Zelda Animated Series In TOTK Is Brilliant
Watched the Black Cauldron last night. That animation style would have been great if Nintendo worked with Disney to make a Zelda movie.
