Edit: just googled how he will look later. Meh. The ape looks cooler in his final form tbh. But I always go with water. So it doesn't matter.

@bluetofu In a few days there comes Densha De Go on japan as well.

I pre-ordered it on the jp shop a long time ago, never expecting it to be released in the west. At least not so soon. I hope it sells at least a little bit though, so that more japanese targeted games are also getting an western release or at least an english language option. (Looking at you Densha De Go that only has japanese)

I played a few loops earlier today. Game gets more characters and more options with each loops. You never start from scratch.

I know a lot of people complain about all the ports. But I personally love it. The Switch is opening the gate to view videogames as timeless as movies and books.

How many of them are coming? I thought it is done soon.

The spine having the „book4games“ logo big on it makes it pretty pointless in my opinion.

@Ghost_of_Hasashi It doesn't look as good as the trailer. But it also does not look bad or broken like most Unreal Engine ports.

@StefanN Yeah it feels like total chaos in a good way. I suck at simulations, but I can handle this game alright. So I think it is more in the arcadey corner. But don't only take my word for it because I am pretty casual when it comes to gaming knowledge.

It has some PS1 vibe going on. Also in a good way. Lot of stuff to unlock. Looking forward to try it online soon.

@BenAV Oh awesome! I tend to not give my opinion about the icon when I post these links, because a lot of people seem to get angry if somebody want's nice icons. But I say this: glad they gonna update it. Looks way more professional and less like a phone app.

@Kilroy Yeah same. I only learned that the game was not done by Sega itself during the startup screen. I guess that is on me. But playing it on launch day was still a mayor letdown in many ways.

Big shout out to them for updating this thing. I think this gaming generation really helps to make games „timeless“ similar to movies. Meaning that it does not matter what year of release the work, as long as it's good.
