I watched Vinny play kill it with fire. Pretty fun looking, but once you watch a stream you see all it has to offer. I also recently got a PS4 so I will get Crash on the system that probably runs it better
How’s the level design in Crash 4?
Probably going to wait until MH Rise is on PC now
I'm in no rush to pick it up since I've got plenty of other games this year to be excited about
@NinChocolate Hard as balls
Especially if you want to go for 100% completion. It's probably the worst Crash completionist experience since Crash 1
Zero first party releases! Let's merge our home console and handheld divisions together so we can release more games!!!!!!
wheres that cat fighting game? i was hyped for it in that last indie direct
My Switch physical games-
Paper Mario The Origami King
Zelda Breath of the Wild
Fire Emblem Three Houses
Streets of Rage 4
Super Mario Odyssey
Super Mario 3D All Stars
Super Mario 3D World
Mario Kart 8 Deluxe
Games I would like-
Metroid
More Fire Emblem
More Zelda
F Zero GX
I must pick Pop'n Music controller for PS2 with Beatmania IIDX, Pop'n Music and Drummania PS2 games first on April 2021 before i pick Story of Seasons Pioneer of Olive Town.
Crash 4 for me.
@TheFrenchiestFry Oh wow
@PBandSmelly
Protip: For a better gaming experience stop watching streamers/let's plays.
I'm on the hype train for Rise on the 26th!
The game I'm most excited for this month is Gnosia which releases on the eShop on Thursday. Aside from that, the only game I'm getting for sure is Monster Hunter.
@TheFrenchiestFry
What makes you think it is every coming to pc? None of the games on the 3ds ever came to the switch.
Probably Rise for me.
Really good month. MH Rise, Crash, KoA and PvZ for me. Might check out Stubbs the Zombie as well. Console versions of Retromania Wrestling will release in March too(still not specific date for that yet).
@Jakiboy
When it's somebody that is super funny and have been following for years playing a variety of small titles I otherwise wouldn't have batted an eye on, I'd say it's harmless
Oof, February had way too many games, luckily the only game I want in March is monster hunter and that releases at the end! Plenty O time to play bravely default, persona strikers and ghosts and goblins until then.
Already pre-ordered Rise. I didn't know Bladed Fury comes out next month.
Can't wait for Apex Legends and PVZ.
@ANeonChicken Capcom actually did announce they will release Monster Hunter Rise on PC in 2022. So for anyone willing to wait a year, it's going to happen.
@PBandSmelly
"somebody super funny" [Citation Needed]
"I wouldn't have batted an eye on" But as you said you were suggesting that you would have brought it your if you hadn't "seen all that it has to offer on stream", which doesn't make sense because you weren't playing the gameplay yourself.
@Jakiboy
I said vinny in my first post as in Vinesauce Vinny. My point is that I would get the game if it had more content, if I watched somebody complete it in 2 hours or less then I personally won't find it worth my money
@PBandSmelly
I get it you love Vinny, doesn't mean he is funny. And my point is to stop relying on funni meme guiz to play games for you, go and experience what they have to offer to you not anybody else.
@ANeonChicken It literally just got confirmed for PC by the game's producers lol it's coming out for PC in 2022
It was also already leaked for Steam based on that Capcom data breach. MH Stories 2 is also coming to PC as well
@Jakiboy
That's...not even close to what I was saying but alright
Looking at that 2d game reminds me i have sundered and makes me want to go play some of my Nindies.
I was going to pick up MH but after seeing next month's line up for PS+ I've got plenty to play for free. I can hold off on Rise until I find I cheaper pre owned copy or it goes on sale now.
Kingdoms of Amalur and Monster Hunter look the most promising out of the bunch.
Super hype for Rise and I already played Crash 4 on PS4 great game but really frustrating if you try 106 completion and some hidden stuff are really cheap outside of camera and you might really need to look it up on YouTube
Just Crash 4 for me.
Played Kingdoms of Amalur and Stubbs and they are both gems. Stubbs is a one and done type game so I'm glad it's not too expensive. Amalur has a ton of ways to play and a lot to do. Gonna be a good month.
@TheFox problem is its going to sell more on the switch then pc.
Kingdoms of Amalur was excellent, but I've already completed it 3 times.
Already ordered the MH Rise special edition Switch console. Balan Wonderworld is a dark horse for a purchase eventually. Not going to get any of the others.
SoS and Monster Hunter + amiibo are already paid for so that’s it for me. I’ll be adding crash, sea of solitude, root film, tony hawk, balan wonderland and amalur to the list to buy later/BF. Trying to keep my day one purchases low as it is not like I have time to play all of them. Will likely buy gnosia as well.
I’ll likely watch Let’s plays for some of these.
Loving that Nintendo and partners are keeping such a steady release schedule.
My main priority is Kingdoms of Amalur, followed by Monster Hunter Rise. I haven't looked into some of the other games yet, though.
March is the first really packed month for me since I got my Switch. I am aware that nobody cares, but my march lineup - sorted by personal excitement - reads like this:
1. Densha De Go!! Yamanote Line
2. R.B.I. Baseball 21
3. A-Train Hajimaru Kankou Keikazu
4. Apex Legends
5. Kingdoms of Amalur
6. Monster Jam Steel Titans 2
7. That QIX anime one (forgot the name)
8. Story of Seasons POOT
i was gonna either get Monster Hunter Rise or Splatoon 2 next month, but now that Evil Genius 2 and Cyanide & Happiness - Freakpocalypse have release dates, i will hold off on getting either until May and June.
No 15 :
March 26th : Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1 + 2 !!!
can't wait !
Just Kingdoms of Amalur Re-Reckoning for me.
Dwamn! I can't wait to double dip on PvZ and not have to use an app to voice chat. In game voice chat for me please!
I remember the one part in Stubbs the Zombie that went to the song "Mr Sandman" and it was a "dancing" mimic button pushing mini game. Lol that still gets stuck in my head after all these years. "Mr. Sandman DUN DUN DUN......"
Where is gnosia? I'm so excited about it
I think Battle Brothers is out in March as well. Too much stuff! Almost hoping Amalur is a bad port so I can skip it...
Great month! Crash 4 and Monster Hunter for sure for me, and probably Kingdom of Amalur later on.
And I will try out Apex Legends, of course.
I’ve already got PvZ on Xbox, and it’s definitely a solid title. Same with Apex. I will only get the other games if they’re given good reviews on NLife.
That's a lot of shovelware
I'm saving myself and my wallet for Rise. I've got more than enough to be getting on with till then.
@ANeonChicken game was leaked earlier on then confirmed for PC release
@Giygas_95 damn, my brain momentarily read that as "Just Cause".😅
Using the beginning of the month to get through some backlog and then jumpin on Rise. Though I really do want Story of Seasons and Sea of Solitude.
Is crash 4 worth full price? I held off on getting it because I was worried it was the same length content wise as only one game from the N Sane trilogy.
Nice, steady stream of software keeps coming
@nhSnork That would be cool, though it'd probably run like crap!
@Muh-ario I'm pretty sure it would be at least as long as Crash 3 if you're just going from start to credits, but full completion is said to take much, MUCH longer. Also it's $40 on Switch as opposed to $60 if that helps, though I'm not sure how that'll translate into Canadian pricing.
Edit: actually it would appear to be longer. How Long To Beat has Crash 1 - 3 listed as around 6 hours for the main story of each and around 11 - 14 hours for full completion. Crash 4 is listed as 10 hours for main story and 67 hours for full completion. So it seems to be a lot meatier.
Isn't Startopia launching in March, too?
Just MH Rise, hopefully Bravely Default II which I started yesterday is long enough that I don't have to rely too much on backlog.
Was considering Crash 4 but don't really know what's going on with the physical version (doesn't have a release date if it even exists) so waiting until more info appears on that.
Me and my buddies will be rising early to hunt monsters!
@andyg1412 Of course there are no first party games this month. Nintendo is allowing Monster Hunter to be the month's big game.
Gnosia and Monster Hunter are for sures.
Root Film sounds kinda cool, but I want to read reviews of that first.
I'll get Crash Bandicoot down the line.
Monster Hunter (if the whole game is on the cartridge) and Kingdoms of Amalur.
For the rest I do not care.
Can't help but feel that Nintendo are aiming to release one good game a month.
This is why I hate the fact they joined their handheld and tv consoles together, on 3ds we had 8 yokai watch games, 12 pokemon games, 5 fire emblem games, multiple professor layton and phoenix Wright games, style boutique games, Disney magical world games, fantasy life, ever oasis, tonnes of mario universe games, all this and more whilst Nintendo was also pumping out exclusives for the wii and wiiU.
Yet now they only have the Nintendo switch to concentrate but yet the games are very few, I mean Where's the professor Laytons? No yokai watch, no style boutiques, 1 fire emblem, no "new" mario kart, many many ports, no phoenix Wright and kid icarus
Hopefully Nintendo go back to having a seperate handheld division after the switch generation.
But in terms of this month then it's only monster hunter for me and hopefully I can get the limited edition Pro controller to go with it.
Crash,zombies,monster and balan wonderland for me this month
MHRise for me!
Fair amount for me this month potentially!
Insta-downloads:
Plants vs Zombies &
Crash 4
Need reviews for my interesting wishlist titles of:
Bladed Fury,
Sea of Solitude,
Root Film,
Story of Seasons,
Gnosha
MH Rise
But will probably download anyway barring disasters.
So may well be EIGHT games I will eventually download from March. Butnot all necessarily in March, will be spread out a wee bit.
The only one that I'm excited for is Monster Hunter rise and it's the only one that will matter till next year.
Since one of the games of this month is Monster Hunter, all other releases are meaningless to me anyway.
So only Monster Hunter it is.
None for me. Never played a MH i liked and I already own the games I'd play on other consoles
Kingdoms of Amalur: Re-Reckoning will be great on the switch
I hope
It definitely on my list
Bladed fury looks like it could be good.
Still not sure if I should get monster hunter or not it felt very slow and sluggish on the demo I have it on order but considering counciling it.
That's a nice month.
Never played a Crash title, it was always a Playstation series for me. Might buy depending on reviews.
Minute of Islands looks cute but I heard it's somewhat dark. I'll keep an eye out for this one as well anyway.
Haven't played a Harvest Moon game since the original Game Boy title, but I remember it being simple yet relaxing and I heard good stuff about this new one. Another maybe.
Sea of Solitude I know is a good game but I'm not quite willing to pay 30€ for something I could get for 5€ on Steam tbh. DC or not. On my wishlist for a later sale you go.
MH4 is already bought.
Minute of Islands looks weird, but in a good way. Might get it. Waiting for the reviews.
Minute of Islands and Sea of Solitude for sho!
Pulling a game is not anti consumer. Making an upgrade only available to folk who upgrade to next gen is.
It's not going to be the last time we ever get to play Mario 64 et al. So don't make it sound like it's going forever lol. But if you bought FF7 remake and want to play the new content...please buy a PS5. HAAAAAAAAHAHAHA. No thank you.
@RiasGremory "problem is its going to sell more on the switch then pc."
I'm not sure why that's a problem.
@GrailUK making mario 3d all stars available for a year made no sense at all and then to pull it from the store is just as bizzare as they will just lose out on money.
The ff7 remake ps5 extra content can be claimed by ps4 users aswell if they have purchased the ps4 version they can get the ps5 version for free.....
What is anti consumer is Nintendo charging £50-£60 for wiiU ports
For me, it's like most people in March, all about the Rise of Monster Hunter
But down the line wouldn't mind checking out PvZ and Crash4 before Mario Golf rolls into town.
Monster Hunter for me. Crash for my wife. And when does Outer Wilds land? I’m real curious about that one.
@UltimateOtaku91 Nah man, charging 50 quid is just supply / demand. But you are wrong about FF remake. You can only play Yuffie on PS5.
@GrailUK yes but if you have already bought the ps4 version then you get the ps5 version free
@UltimateOtaku91 useful
@ANeonChicken already confirmed
Got enough to be getting on with this monty already so nothing on here for me. Still enjoying SM3DW (again) and got back into Pikmin 3 Deluxe this weekend. I may take a punt on Hyrule Warriors Age of Calamity, but it's more a lack of time and enjoying the games I've already got that's keeping me from picking that up at the moment.
I got a huge backlog, and to top it I bought Astral Chain and Fenyx Rising last week, so I'll be holding off for some time.
Only on purchase : Densh de Go on JP eshop
Otherwise maybe crash 4 regarding the reviews
I can't wait for Apex Legends! I've been wanting to play it ever since I first saw gameplay of it, but I don't have a Playstation, XBOX, or a gaming PC.
I ordered a PowerA Enhanced Wired controller (my first Switch pro controller) last Saturday and I'll be getting it on Wednesday just a few days before Apex's release!
