This is an great TD title day one for me it would be awesome if they would add some new content for the Wii U version definitely one of the most challenging TD titles I've played but also alot fun now if Nintendo would give a new HD Version OF STARSHIP DEFENSE I would be soooooo happy ., hint-hint Nintendo .

I'm looking forward to this title the demo made me want it that much more .

I'm so excited for this I went and got a new 3DS XL . , As well I'm looking forward to Tri Force Heros .

still a little excited for this game though I still have resentment for having to wait a year after Japan to play it and I'm sure it will sell better here than in Japan not sure why Nintendo made us all wait a year .

I really like this game I've had alot of fun playing it, this title got me to go purchase my first Pokemon title Alpha Sapphire and now I'm a huge Pokemon fan .., Mission Accomplished Nintendo . Rumble World is a great game I'd recommend it I even thought the free to play model for it is really fair .

I've been really enjoying Mario Maker , JUST AN AMAZING TITLE ! , Thanks Nintendo for an AWESOME job .., Mario is the reason I am a gamer to this day I was ten years old when I first met Nintendo's soon to become ICONIC PLUMBER . Thanks for all the awesome gaming sessions through the years , of all the different types of games I play there is to this day something i notice when i play a Mario title that happens everytime i play a Mario title I get a smile on my face .

I'd give this title an 8 out of 10 , I've been having alot of fun with it I really like the way you get to use the GamePad to me this is one of the very few titles that took notice of the GamePad (Thankfuly) as well I am grateful for the online leaderboards a huge plus in my opinion . I think any true tower defense fan can and will find alot to like with this title.., keep up the good work and THANKS for the update..

I've been a Nintendo fan since the days of the NES and have just within the past three months had the pleasure of becoming a Pokemon fan it started with the free to play Pokemon Rumble World for 3DS and I have to admit I'm addicted to that title and so I've downloaded the FTP Pokemon Shuffle a fun pick up and play and so the other day I went and got a copy of Pokemon Alpha Sapphire which is awesome but this new title coming to the Wii U looks AMAZING and I have to say the kid in me is EXCITED

Looks AWESOME I was hoping this got a release on Wii U cannot wait to play .

I can't wait to get my hands on this title looks AMAZING ..

I still have such fond memorys of playing this game with family and friends at sleep-overs and get togethers definitely in my top five favorite all-time video games category ., As well this is the title that cemented me as a life long Nintendo fan , Long Live KING MARIO ..

I really liked the 3DS Castlevania thought it had some awesome graphics and good use of 3D personaly I think they would do an amazing job with Metroid on the other hand why is Nintendo refusing to give us a Metroid title ?

I'm still interested in getting this title there is simply a desert when it comes to this kind of game on Wii U - I mean how many times can you eat a salad and not want a steak, though I must say it depends on how close they release it to Xenoblade X - if it gets released before X then I will pick it up but if it comes out after X I can most likely say it will be a NO GO for me .

They could release Animal Crossing anything here in the US and it will sell good as well - AC seems to be the game that bridges the age gap people of all ages seem to love it .

This is the game that changed video games for me and turned me into a gamer , the Mario series is to this day my favorite gaming series as well Mario is the main reason I buy every system Nintendo releases to this day ., Long live KING MARIO !

We have the other Skylanders titles and 90% of all Skylanders for each game we were gonna sit this one out but the more I see the more I want to play it so I guess it's time to admit I'm sold ., I really like how they have added amiibo as well .

Nice update , so glad they gave the diamond mine a boost to forty aday now I have just reached Rank 70 - Gotta Catch'em All !

I'm really disappointed that there is not a 3DS or Wii U version of a true Metriod title coming out anytime soon ESPECIALLY A 3DS METRIOD TITLE AT THIS POINT Would be AWESOME , Yet I think this title looks fun and I'm really interested with the online play it's definitely on my list of titles I'm wanting to get .

I'm gonna miss his Directs he had a way of making it seem and feel like it was a personal message from him to you such a CLASS ACT IN ALL AREAS he left some MIGHTY BIG SHOES for Nintendo to fill .

It would be AWESOME if these titles would have online leaderboards for replayability just AWESOME .

Has me interested I like the theme, I'm gonna keep an eye on this one .

@Ninstarkof it's ok everyone handles sad bad news different and like the article nobody likes every decision to come from Nintendo but at the end of the day we are all still Nintendo fans now play some awesome games on your Nintendo console of choice you'll feel better .

Thank you for this ARTICLE., I had posted a couple comments earlier on other articles and was getting ready to play some 3DS before I go to bed ( I work midnight shifts ) I've been up reading articles about Mr. Iwata-San as I read this article it really sums up how he has impacted my life I had also started to lose interest in video gaming in my late twentys then the Wii came along and the DS then the 3DS which is my gaming system of choice love it AMAZING system as well the Wii U which is my familys home console of choice and I don't want to think about our amiibo collecting but it's become almost like a sport in my household LoL, all of this is due to Iwata-San we play games together as a family due to Iwata and Nintendo because of the types of games and the rich history of their ICONIC brand of games that can't for us atleast be found anywhere else .. Thank You Mr. Iwata-San we will deeply miss you and your awesome appearances on the Nintendo Directs and thank you for reminding me how AWESOME video gaming can truly be .

Thank you Iwata for your charm, your humorous personality, for making many fun memorys of gaming with my family happen . Ive been a lifelong gamer and a big part of that is due to Mr. Iwata I feel as though a family member has passed , he will be missed such an AMAZING person .

Such an AMAZING person it is sad to lose him this early, I will miss seeing Mr. Iwata being humorous and charming in the Nintendo Directs.

WOODSTOCK !, DAY ONE PURCHASE - PLATFORM : 3DS..

This game keeps looking better and better to me come on September , I really like the Dark Additions the DK is my favorite character so far and Vehicle wise it's the Bowser plane - Looks AWESOME..

I was excited about this title but Nintendo gave us a DECEMBER release date and now I'm bitter I mean now we are reading articles about what Japanese players thougt makes the game seem old and dated to me so I'm not sure I will even get the game now, I feel Nintendo has really hurt the sales of this game by making players wait sooooo long .

Nintendo could release a console twice as powerful as PS4 and would still have 3rd party not support it so Nintendo has to do something different and they know it I hope its awesome the video game business needs a new jolt and there is no better company than NINTENDO to do it , in the mean time I will be playing so awesome titles on my Wii U AND 3DS ..

That video just made the wait for FAST that much harder , Looks Amazing..

This may be the most profane title on the 3DS , so deserves the mature rating my only gripe with this version when compared to the Wii U version is where are the online leaderboards ? Other than that solid port . I like the 3D effect over the HD by far I really like the depth it adds .

AWESOME can't wait to play it in HD .., @Insect_Prince I don't think the price is to high it's a good game trust me I've paid more for games I've liked alot less , ten bucks for a solid fun title is a good deal to me - if you like Metroid I highly recommend it .

Man people are just never satisfied and mean , Nintendo is doing what Nintendo has always done and hit or miss they are never gonna please everyone at the same time , I've read some of these comments and laughed when I read one that insinuated there has not been a good Zelda game in years - REALLY ? I guess they never heard of Skyward Sword or A Link Between Worlds or even Hyrule Warriors, Hahaha LoL come on people .

I really like the Wii U, love the gamepad such an underscored console so so much potential and just getting wasted with that said it's gonna be a couple years before the NX is out and that's plenty of time for Wii U to have a few more AWESOME TITLES added to it's library- I don't think you can count Nintendo out they didn't come this far by accident I was upset like most with their E3 as well and mainly for two reasons NO METROID or I should say no real METROID TITLE , though I do think the 3DS FEDERATION title does look like it could be some good fun in all honesty but the MAIN reason I was upset the Xenoblade X RELEASE DATE for NA , DECEMBER 2015 I WAS LIKE WHAT ! why so far off ? back on topic though I think the NX has a real possibility to be AMAZING with current tech., I'm hoping they bridge the handheld / console gap and I believe they are with this next machine .

It seems like digital and the e-shop are gonna be the go to place for new games on the Wii U out of the titles you have listed TEN of them are gonna be day one purchases for me, it would be awesome if a few of these titles would become retail releases I'm a big fan of physical copies @Captain_Gonru I agree with you I was impressed with the Forma.8 demo it reminded me a little of the pixel junk games on PSN definitely looking forward to play it .

The Link amiibo is AWESOME , The Toon Link amiibo is AWESOME , I agree that DK and Bowser are perfect for Skylanders I can't wait to play the new game on Wii U we were on the fence about the new Skylanders title till they made this announcement now it's a day one purchase on a side note I would love it if they could have added Wario he has the perfect personality for a Skylanders game and as we've seen in other games Wario already has a Bad Ass bike to ride ..

It's gonna be a day one purchase for me , LOOKS AWESOME., the Steam World games are a blast and the art styles are AMAZING ., simply cannot wait and knowing this is releasing on the 3DS first just icing on cake , just the icing on the freaking cake I tell ya ..

This was not a concern for me before yet as time goes I have noticed myself liking online gaming and online options in games, it has become more and more IMPORTANT to me so much that if a title don't have online multiplayer or online leaderboards there is about a seventy percent chance I'm not gonna buy it for me the online is almost a must for value in replay .

Just feel like Nintendo is not even trying, I even think Super Mario Maker is a bad anniversary title and having to wait till December for Xenoblade is not even cool I don't think I even want it having to wait that long . UGLY JUST UGLINESS ..

Really Nintendo we have to wait that long , I thought I would never say this thank goodness for PS4 ..

What are you doing Nintendo give Samus the game she deserves or sell the Franchise to someone who can.

@Sanqet I played it on vita and just don't like it either I thought the graphics are horrible and the game play is not fun as well I don't get all the fuss over mature content I mean what about Angry Video Game Nerd now there is a title you might not want your little one to play LoL ..
