Re: Editorial: Is This a Golden Era of Gaming? Absolutely

Thing is, it is a handheld that you can plug into a TV, real home consoles are ps4xboxo, switch can't compare with those, so yep it's a basic handheld but certainly not a multimedia one like vita, can't even play music or films or browse the net, Christ it even needs a 2nd device to use ingame chat, even vita had that built in, hmm basic handheld most definitely at this moment in time, that's not to say it hasn't got a few good games though, lol what am I saying, most of them are ports. Sligy is right though, it's nintendo's second attempt at this gen with a so called home console that is clearly a handheld that you carry around in a bloody big bag cause it can't fit in your pockets like 3ds

Re: FIFA 18 Sales Are Important for Future EA Support of Nintendo Switch

WhistleFish

Just chappy PR to get switch owners to buy fifa, looking at the comments here, it's going to have a mixed reception, some buying it some not so. It won't have the impact some are thinking it will have in Europe, for a start the switch userbase isn't big enough plus many won't buy it and ps4 xbox will sell the biggest lions share of it, like I said its a stunt to try get you to buy it on the idle promise of other games, which there is no guarantee from EA

Re: Mutant Mudds Deluxe Is Nearing Release on the Switch

@daveh30
Didn't know that was him. That's more like it, new games, I used to love renegade kid games, more so the Dementium and moon games, it's the other guy that owners the properties of those games though, haven't heard anything from him, oh well maybe in time

Re: Dragon Quest XI Delivers Extraordinary Sales on 3DS, as Switch Hardware Continues to Thrive

@westman98
Lol, I think you answer the wrong person, I ain't ever mentioned Splatoon, tbh I don't care how many it sells anywhere in the world, but good luck to it and Nintendo, Anyways switch had the 3rd best launch in all of Europe, 80 thousand compared to Spain who is a decent supporter of Ninty hardware only selling 40k, and don't get me started on Greece who had their best ever Ninty hardware launch with a massive 2k lol, having said all that it's lifetime sales that count and that's way off yet, enjoy the ride though dude

Re: Ultra Street Fighter II Was A "Smash Hit" On Switch, Says Capcom

WhistleFish

@faint
Exactly dude, it ain't a smash hit, but good sale for a old game, if it came out a year after switch release it wouldn't have done those ok-ish numbers, that said I hope you guys support capcom with future games, if you don't they will drop it very sharpish like they did with vita, there games on vita sold more yet they dropped it

Re: AtGames Confirms Its SEGA Genesis Clone Systems to Roll Out Ahead of SNES Mini

WhistleFish

@gaga64
I wouldn't call it a cheap clone, Atlases released something similar years back with 20ish megadrive games built in, just like NES classic, seems to me Nintendo cloned their idea seen as they was doing it first long before, having said that I have to say I agree that ppl on here is interested in sega hardware and their games, for me I will buy this handheld they are selling, it's wow with the potential to download any megadrive even the Japanese ones that never made it here, can't wait I loves a bit of retro

Re: New 2DS XL Tops Japanese Hardware Chart As Switch Sales Plunge Amid Stock Shortages

WhistleFish

@Mahe
Yep have to agree, I have had every Nintendo hardware except virtual boy, but I will never buy a switch, it doesn't do anything for me, I have already opted out. I am fine with the vita and ps4, I know ppl will say vita don't get Sony games anymore but that don't bother me, besides Sony work behind the scenes to get certain indie games on to vita, I don't play handhelds for the latest AAA games, indie games are more than enough plus many great Japanese games besides vita has many AAA games released on it before the western devs gave up on it and Sony big games. The fact it has PS1 games and PSP and psmini all on the go is a added bonus, also there are over 30 PS2 games on it with most of them remastered is also a bonus and it has about 20 ps3 xbox 360 games aswell is another bonus, so for me there is no need to buy a switch, apart from nintendo 1st party most of the other games it gets are already on vita or ps4, also there is remoteplay. I went of the boil with Ninty back in the wii days but still bought a wii u but I won't buy there hardware no more, it makes me laugh when ppl say the switch has console quality games on the go, for me it's the other way, it plays handheld quality games on your TV, it's not home console quality ps4 and Xbox are, the Switch as a docked machine is more like a coffee maker compared to the big boys, but it's a decent handheld with most games I would never play on it or coming later, like crap platformers, actually there are probably only 5ish Ninty developed games I would play

Re: Visual Novel Song Of Memories Getting Switch Port In Japan With English Subtitles

WhistleFish

@Angelic_Lapras_King
They put English subs in them for the huge game market in Hong Kong, it's the same for vita games. Many ppl in HK speak or read English, also many games are been developed in HK nowadays like Rainbow moon and Rainbow skies, also mainland China devs are making games aswell, most of their games come to Sony hardware, but that will change eventually, especially if Nintendo release switch there

Re: The Art of Shantae Launches Sometime in 2018

WhistleFish

@FredBiletnikoff
Nah, the fact he used the term 2nd party says it all, regardless of the series as a whole, even the dlc made it to other hardware, making it more unplausable , just like your joke comeback, the shantae games will always be multiplatform in the future, did I step on your toes or something, oh I am sorry NOT, get with it it's far from resembling a 2nd party game. Monster hunter first came out on ps2 but it don't make it a 2nd party game, even though the best selling version was on Sony hardware, psp
