@Agramonte
I was hoping wolfenstein would be the #1 FPS on switch but I just found out it don't even have a multiplayer, that ain't good

Doom multiplayer is shallow, basically garbage

It's not even 2018 and wolfenstein not having multiplayer will be my biggest disappointment of said year, it will be a lot of money on switch for a single player game, once campaign mode is finished it will be sold instantly

Yep, that's what I mean, I know it's not perfect for shield but most emulators have glitches, it should be adequate for switch but obviously not perfect.

I have the old JXD S7800B, it's old nowadays compared to JXD SINGULARITY or GPD XD, which have better chip sets but it's fine for retro gaming

The GPD WIN is a great device, tbh i thought it was already released, it's not for me, can't get along with computer but the next gen of JXD and GPD handheld gaming devices should be more special, the next set of chips are equivalents of something from the switch upwards to ps4, depending on which ones they use. My jxd is mid tier the next chips are top tier but more expensive, probably a new device in 2019 or 2020

Actually GPD were thinking about doing a phone with a screen that rotates for gaming with integrated analogue and buttons, I would be interested in that

Like you, I will probably go get another switch and not open it, actually sod it I am getting another today

Can't see any reason why switch couldn't run the dolphin emu, the nvida shield had no problems with it, so the switch shouldn't either.
My jxd can't run dolphin but it's old now, probably buy the far superior version next.

Some N64 games run OK others don't but that's more to do with a unfinished emu, there are many unfinished emulators but some of them are still getting updates, many improve over the original Base machine.

Thx to my 2nd vita having Henkaku and homebrew, there are fan made zelda games like Navi's Quest and pokemon games, original doom and quake, my next hacked device will be the GPD XD, it looks just like a 3ds clamshell , only far more powerful

Have to agree, it was a major flop, if Skyrim goes the same way, which I think it will, then after wolfenstein i don't think Bethesda will bother with switch

2 good games but on the wrong system, unless it's MH or certain Japanese games then western AAA games will fail on this hardware, if they had any sense they would abandon thoughts of releasing on switch and leave it to Nintendo 1st party and Indies
The switch isn't the place for AAA devs

The Ubisoft game has done OK, only because the fat plumber is showcased, for me it ain't a 3rd party game, it's still Nintendo, only Ubisoft built it, just like Namco with pokken or Smash

Vgcharts is all speculation and always wrong
Those global sales are for each week
They should only be used as a guideline nothing more
I remember they had wii u sales at just over 14 million lifetime sales before they removed it and replaced it with switch, Anyways they had wii u at 14 million when Nintendo had already stated they had shipped 13.5 with production at a halt, they overestimated by 500 thousand
There have been many scenarios like this with vgcharts
It does get updated when official numbers are released but not often enough
Actually vgcharts is a massive joke amongst the gaming community

Re: Feature: Memorable Games of 2017 - DOOM

Duke Nukem 3D Megaton edition on vita is my favourite handheld FPS, followed by KZ mercenaries, Metroid Prime hunters and then this version of Doom.
There isn't many FPS on handhelds that were any good but i have to give a honorable mention to Doom 2 on GBA, not the best place to play that particular game but it was a great technical achievement

Ah, 12switch, yes a game that's done better than most would have thought, including myself. Perfect in everyway for a casual and complete garbage for the hardcore gamer.
By hardcore i just simply mean games that aren't party or rhythm or bloody board games, stuff I call casual but fits perfectly into the Nintendo gaming eco system.
I know it's doing better than xeno, but I also know which one I would rather play,

It's not about the sales, it's some of the ridiculous comments that turn into spats that I find amusing, I couldn't careless about sales been good or bad, neither should you, it's all about the games, which leads me onto the port begging

OK, you can wish and hope for all the games to come to your chosen hardware but it don't change anything, if it comes then fine but if it don't then fine, buy other hardware or just appreciate what you have or already know what's coming, port begging ain't gonna bring the games you want, so it's a pointless discussion
It's how some ppl go about port begging, the things they say that amuse me, many get infuriated and its funny, did you read the article about secret of Mana not coming to switch, it was a classic, there are many articles like this. I ain't talking about ppl that just say I would like COD on switch, that's normal, it's the ones that turn into gaming beasts that puff smoke out of their nostrils and fire out of their mouths

Re: Nintendo Switch Continues to Dominate in Japan

@Antray1984
Sony just have to keep doing what they do with power & exclusives, there is always a market for it
Nintendo should never enter the market at the level of Sony, Ninty have their own thing and they should just carry on as they are
Microsoft will do OK with USA and UK markets but will that be enough, the future ain't as bright for them as Sony & Ninty who will dominate their respective paths, it's a car crash for anyone going up against them, 2 companies with 2 separate paths that fill the gaming world with goodies & some great exclusives, best to own both really

Re: Nintendo Switch Continues to Dominate in Japan

@NinNin
That's why we have multiple hardware
So port begging ain't a problem for us
Do you even know what your saying or do you even read comments correctly
We laugh at fanboys for many reasons, sales figures for different countries and how it is spinned when things are good or bad is just one aspect of it
My comment earlier says I don't care for charts, it's the comments I like,

Re: Nintendo Switch Continues to Dominate in Japan

@Agramonte
Yep, i have multiple hardware, even the vita
My switch is OK but nothing special, same with my other hardware
I like some games on them and some I don't but certain ppl have their heads firmly planted up nintendo's backside, saying that, I love reading their greasy suck suck I love you Nintendo comments, there so bad and cringy that they make me smile. Coming here is like a soap opera, I need my fix each day, especially after a hard days work, I always need a laugh to wind me down, and don't get me started on the port beggars.
Tunnel vision hmm indeed
Tbh i don't care one bit about charts, makes me laugh though, yep these charts look impressive and they are for switch but look at this week's UK charts that just released and there is only 1 switch game in top 10, it was mario but even Mr Bandicoot placed higher than him, but fanboys will spin it somehow because like you said Tunnel Vision

I never take reviews on Nintendo life seriously or certain users opinions of games, everything seems to be a WOW factor for them if it looks shiny & new.
I come here for the BS chat and even bigger BS comments by certain ppl that have their heads firmly planted up nintendo's backside,
Yes I have a switch but it's just another piece of hardware to play games on, not a wow factor for me

It's true i wouldn't want MHW on switch, but i have no problem with a new entry on switch
Graphics don't bother me, but fps does. Switch would struggle with MHW
It was just a figure of speech when i said i couldn't careless if MH came to switch, i myself have all basses covered, so that wouldn't be a problem for me. For those stuck in a Nintendo bubble(switch) those ppl don't need to worry about not owning multiple hardware, MH will come West at some point, it's not if but when. Ppl just have to be patient, no doubt capcom are busy making one as we discuss this scenario.
MHW belongs on the power sisters, it would loose so much as a down port for switch, so yeah ps4 all the way for me with that particular game. I bought Skyrim for switch though i had other options, for me it was best suited on switch for my lifestyle, can't say the same for Doom though,

It ain't stealing when the games are already free. A patch for free lootbox is a different matter. You must be a grown up paying for those, Anyways it is what it is, this type of practice will carryon regardless if ppl like it or not. Just for the record i also don't pay for any retro games thx to emulators, i have a collection the switch could never provide me all free and glad for it. I have noticed many on Nintendo life are doing the same, we must be all kids and scum but we have a healthy bank balance. Almost forgot i don't pay anything to play advance wars, i must be a gangsta, best watch what you say i might shoot ya. Seriously though each to their own

Re: Review: TINY METAL (Switch eShop)

WhistleFish

@shinpaku
That's the problem with most ppl that ain't clued up about mobile games. Never get the games on playstore, use your Google browser instead and get modded versions of the same games for free or every lootbox etc is also free. Don't ever have to pay for anything. I use my jxd device for this type of gaming, so i don't even use touch screen, it's all mapped to built in physical buttons

Re: Review: TINY METAL (Switch eShop)

Got to ask yourself, who gives a toss about awards, they don't make a game better or worse. Sony & Nintendo have made loads of games that didn't win awards, doesn't make them less fun, pointless comment really.

It's just another generic platformer, always the same each generation, recycled garbage, it's time Ninty started innovating their old tired IPs. Also I was never going to like Kirby, Yoshi even mario platformers, I can't stand platformers but that's just one opinion, many ppl do like them and I hope they enjoy them but certainly not for me

Re: The Legend Of Dark Witch 3 Casts A Spell Over 3DS Next Week

@Kalmaro
Fair comment mate, yes Ninty certainly have their own style. I don't buy many games developed by Ninty, just zelda and prime.

I only have 2 games on switch, Skyrim and Doom

To be fair we don't know what games are in development for 3Ds or switch for 2018 apart from garbage like Yoshi and Kirby, not good games imo but others will like them

I guess you have lots of switch games so far

Re: The Legend Of Dark Witch 3 Casts A Spell Over 3DS Next Week

WhistleFish

@Kalmaro
Switch isn't the only device that brings current games on the go. The devices I talk about also do, though they are latest android games, actually many have released on switch and more to come. These hybrid devices also dock or on the fly, switch isn't doing anything new that I wasn't already doing. Switch has made it more mainstream though and good on it

Since the cube days all Ninty machines have had lesser graphics than their competitors, you mentioned in a earlier comment that you have moved on from 3ds to switch which has better looking games. I say worse looking compared to its competitors but that shouldn't matter to ninty fans because it's been like that for years.

Ninty won't phaseout the 3Ds for a while, it still selling lots, actually it sold more than previous year, not bad I say. Ninty won't make a ton of games for it but it will still get 6 or 7 in 2018 plus localised Japanese games plus indie, I expect a decent 2018 for it considering the switch will be in its stride

I wouldn't say making a bigger zelda game or a crossover mario game is taking a risk, if it has mario on the box ppl will buy it, no risk. New IPs are more a risk with non existing characters, using mario is a safe bet
