it has a purple pikmin (which I feel like regularly) so yeah instantly better than 3.

Zelda, PIKMIN, possibly advance wars, fire emblem, Mario movie and one million squeenix games come to mind.
Edit: also Kirby returns to dream land deluxe and Mario kart waves 4-6

I quite like playing games that I will find something new in each play through such as mother 3 and deltarune. Also Luigi’s mansion is always fun on Halloween.

every single “Nintendo headline” I was really hoping advance wars would be there. There were so many other games of the same genre that it made me sad. Yet again fire emblem and Zelda steal the show.

100% yes! You have excellent taste.

All the negative comments here make me a little sad. Earthbound/mother's community is honestly one of the most dedicated and creative fanbases out there, That I personally am very proud to be a part of. All of the fangames that make it far enough to be indie games and the level of effort of said fangames is monumental (take Oddity for example). Heck NLife reported about a really well made mother 3 trailer just a little while ago. So I hope people think twice about bashing Fanbases (not just MOTHER) before looking into them and their community.

Speaking of switch online does anybody know when banjo kazooie comes to EP. I would of thought it would at least have a date by now

I recently played this game on pc and can genuinely say it’s terrifying. although a lot later in the game but still, it lures you into a false sense of security and then throws everything it’s got at you at once. Hope you decide to play it, it’s a fantastic game all around (coming from somebody who thought earthbound was the pinnacle of rpgs)
