Level-5 has revealed the Japanese release date for the upcoming Yo-Kai Watch 4 in the latest issue of Corocoro magazine. Those in Japan, or anyone with a Japanese eShop account, can get their hands on the game from 6th June.

No pricing has been revealed for the region just yet, but having a solid release date is definitely great news. Originally, the game was intended to launch back in winter 2018, before being delayed to spring 2019. It seems that another minor delay has been put in place since then, too, but at least we have a fixed date going forward.

Limited copies of the game are reportedly set to release with a crystal Yo-kai Ark, a successor of sorts to the Yo-kai Medals which can be used to summon Yo-kai themselves.

If you missed it previously, feel free to check out this ten-minute video of gameplay footage and details on the game's battle system. It's shaping up to be an interesting entry into the franchise.

Are you excited for this one? Will you be getting your hands on a Japanese copy to play it as soon as possible? Let us know in the comments.
