Because the difficulty is physically keeping me from being able to get beyond the 2nd boss, so now I can't play the game I paid for NOR return it due to Nintendo's fun refund policy. #GetGud #TurnsOutImPhysicallyIncapableToGetGud
I will forever say that games that are THIS popular should have an optional easy mode or accessibility options like Dead Cells has done. I want to play the game everyone is playing but I can't because I can't move my thumbs fast enough. That's messed up in my eyes. Even the hardest books you can still read with help. A hard game you just can't play yourself if you don't have the skill. And when the game is this popular it feels unfair. Unlike an obscure game that's hard that only has dedicated fans.
I'm very interested to find out who in the consumer base will actually purchase this game. Of course reviewers are gonna eat this up. But I think the seeming slow and limited gameplay + drab color scheme will not make it all that enticing for people to buy.
How's the game's icon? The icon for it's predecessor is still after all these years merely a placeholder icon. Classic EA not caring about Nintendo. Hope they care more now.
I'm definitely still playing, but I've sold my oled to a friend and with that money got a second hand Lite. The difference is going to be NUTS for me in 3 weeks.
I absolutely love calling my friends when gaming, whether playing solo or multiplayer, of course except for story heavy games. Always hated discord so I always just call everyone. The problem is, basically nobody in my circle is enough of a gaming nerd to want to buy a Switch 2, so while I'll have the game chat feature, none of my friends will haha. So I'll just be calling like I always have.
I think Nintendo nailed their image with the Switch and think it's wise to make this system their main like Xbox or Playstation. As for people who really don't see the innovation, how about a hybrid console with detachable sharable controllers with incredible specs and a native mouse mode.
Tried it to see what it's about. Now I'm eagerly awaiting a localised version the MyNintendo app to get my news that way along with all the other great features that app has.
I'm suddenly very upset how I already have 500gb of games on my current 1tb card. That is WITH many games that I don't frequently pick up being archived already. And then seeing how Hitman on its own would only fit on an SD card 16 times... I really enjoyed having my entire gaming library of 500+ games on my console at one time. Hope that's manageable again without having to start buying multiple Express SDs I'd have to switch constantly...
I got an invite, but due to an issue my option to pay with creditcard or paypal in the eShop was blocked. Which also counts for the MyNintendoStore. So now I get to preorder but I physically can't because of a block. And Nintendo says they're unable to unblock. Very cool. And the scalpers seemingly raided the entire Netherlands, so I guess I'm without Switch 2 for a while.
I think the problem is that companies like Nintendo Life and other review based creator companies will but these games in mass and it will give Nintendo the idea that its ok, no matter if the consumer buys or not.
I use them every time whenever I play (party) games that either require or are more cozy with single joycon. Putting the actual strap around our wrists only happens when there's a motion minigame or like Switch Sports. But the main function for my companions and I are that the straps actually makes the shoulder buttons on the joycon usable.
Was anyone honestly expecting anything else? Dungeons have never left the series anyway, they just weren't up to the standers of some people haha. They never left.
As someone who purchased Fabledom. I regret to inform you the controls and UI are CRAZY unintuitive. Very uncomfortable and visibly difficult to manoeuvre. I don't recommend getting this and instead invest in Northgard or Ubisoft's Settlers!!!
Omg it makes even more sense. Not only did Jack voice the Minecraft novel audiobook, Minecraft also just collaborated with Kung Fu Panda. Everything is connected.
I had a great time with at least 5 games I'm super excited about. That's above average for even standard directs for my doing. So seeing all the negativity about it online really sucked. I had a grand ol' time.
I enjoy a little Fortnite every now and then but I tried this new update and saw over 15 features such as cars and swimming have been removed to make way for the original island. So yes it's a lot less fun to play now haha. I highly doubt the hype will stay. Cause a lot of content was cut. I also don't really understood why they did this since most people wanted the old map. Not the old game. The new features have remarkably improved the gameplay and even the meta. I even saw instead of 40+ items in the shop every day they now have 5+ items a day. So I really don't know how long this will last.
As some of you might have heard. There isn't going to be any dlc for TotK. This really upsets me since Master Mode is the only way to get a second save file for these games. And I really want to replay the game at a higher difficulty without having to sacrifice my main save file. How do we get Nintendo's attention about this. How do we make this happen? It's such a staple of the series.
Just started playing it. I love the new look and playstyles. But oh my lord. The jumping sound is horrific and triggers constantly since it's a platforming game. It's horrendous haha.
Maybe a stupid question. But is this just a better version of the RCT Adventures that's ALREADY on Switch? Will it replace the old one when you buy it? Or will you then have two of the same game in your console? I'm very confused.
@Reztobi I have to say that's actually well put. I didn't think people were actually hating on the game. I just thought people were like "hey, that looks like this" but I checked and there is indeed quite a lot of hate. Which A. I didn't expect from this community. And B. Is indeed uncalled for. Especially for a free to play game. That's like spitting I'm grandma's face when she knits you socks that look similar to store bought ones you like. It's indeed very toxic. I do still hope we get this game since the Switch is my only gaming platform.
It sucks that people had a hard time when we all accused them of copying. But I don't think you're allowed to talk about how we accused them of copying Zelda without us even knowing if the game is ever still coming to the Switch. I think they're extremely rude for not even mentioning the game once a year. It's been so long that we've been waiting. At least give us a yearly "it's difficult but it's coming" or just tell us right now that it's not happening. I think they're real knuckleheads for treating Switch owners like this.
Glad this game keeps expanding. But my girlfriend keeps getting excited when she hears news about the game. And then immediately gets punched back down by the fact that it's STILL NOT FTP. Very disappointing.
@Dm9982 haha. Yea I feel that. It's a hearty price. If you love RTS it's definitely worth it. If you're a casual fan then a sale definitely won't hurt.
@presenttense yes I'm playing on the Switch and apart from the game loading in textures here and then when you zoom in and out to make the game look as pretty as possible at all times. The performance is outstanding. No lag. Loading times are always under 20 seconds. It's very impressive for how good it look. Even if sometimes the worker's arms look a little stiff. I'm honestly having the best time.
Saw it first thing last morning and immediately bought it. I've been playing Northgard so much every year since it released because I grew up on the Age of Empire series and that's the only game that came close.
After the announcement of Settlers a while back I put it on my list and waited patiently to see some gameplay and fell immediately in love.
What a beautiful and fun game. I can't wait for this to be one of those games I come back to every half year or so.
It's true that the houses don't connect and I wish they did because a big part of the enjoyment for me is the look of building a tiny town.
As far as I can tell every building in the game has slight variations of it so every town you build is gonna look slightly different.
And apart from textures constantly loading in (which seems annoying but isn't that difficult to overlook after a while) this game is truly beautiful, deep and fun.
I just really want Genshin to still happen on the switch. And I would love some early teasers for TotK dlc with the first wave being some fun chests with clothing items connected to riddle quests like with BotW. Maybe even some rare schematics like the king of Red Lions as a boat you can only make with zionaite. And I want some pastel pro controllers of course!
I just found out you don't need any amiibo to get any of the special armor sets. You only need then for the fabrics. I have to be honest and say that that's a little upsetting to me. I have this huge collection I started building from Breath of the Wild to Tears of the Kingdom and now it turns out they're useless cause you can get everything in game.. I think it's cool for people who don't have Amiibo. But now it just feels useless to own them. Kinda sucks..
It hurts to hear this after years of getting hyped. Blizzard used to be a company that delivered the craziest games. And now it just feels like they're giving up that magic they had for a more beneficial financial stream. With going free to play and added battle passes to all games..
You have no idea how badly I want this to come to Switch. My friends have played it since launch and are (understandably) done with it. But one of my friends have been patiently waiting together with me for a Switch release. And the idea of exploring that gorgeous world for the first time together with a friend is just so sweet. So let's hope it happens soon.
I was happy when I heard the news cause I was very burnt out very early on the 3 salmon run maps. But just one new map in the roster per season is VERY slow. Wish they'd at least do to each season.
Hi, not gonna read any of this until I've reached a proper level. Just came to say I thought and now wish this was gonna be the icon for the game. (The Tri color one at the top of the article) and now I'm pretty disappointed it only contains two colors of ink. That's all. Thanks for listening ha
I saw this article pop up and had to come over and shame you guys.
Nothing revolutionary you say? Did you see the card game? Need I say more?
This game is gonna be AMAZING.
Jokes aside, I think it's gonna be Splatoon 2 with all the extras it's supposed to have from the beginning. And honestly, that's all I need to fall in love all over again.
(Plus we might finally get some lore answers cause this franchise is packed with questions)
Just wish they gave me some accessibility options so I can actually play the second half of the game. I know people don't like hearing it. But hard games aren't fun for casual gamers. And I'm having a lot of difficulty with the game. I love it but there's just some bosses I can't get through.

Very happy you can hide games from your playtimes as well!

I hope they fix the news notification issue. It's so annoying. Still haven't seen a single notification dot there since launch.
Re: Poll: How Are Your Download Speeds On Switch 2?
I can download Witcher 3 in 40 minutes. That was maybe 6 hours on NS1

Re: Video: Right, We Need To Talk About GameChat On Switch 2
The biggest problem is, I'm the only one in my circle with a S2.
I desperately want to use game chat, but I can't haha.
Re: Roguelike Action Sequel 'Lost In Random: The Eternal Die' Is Out Now On Switch
How's the game's icon? The icon for it's predecessor is still after all these years merely a placeholder icon.

Hope they care more now.
