Bloody hell man Namco. Port it to the WiiU already! I've recently come back from Japan and me and my brother had several goes on Mario Kart GP 2 and it was excellent, gives us that too. And if you're reading this Nintendo, give us the Luigi's Mansion arcade too - that was amazing as well!

Why do people continue to do pointless things like this? Are they that starved for attention? It drives me nuts. I think everyone knew this'd turn out to be fake from the minute it was 'announced'.

You could argue that Nintendo have been sloppy of late with all of these leaks of new game releases (which I'll admit is strange behaviour by them) but considering NX is still in the development phase there's no way they'd let details of anything slip out let alone a photo.

While I do agree that Nintendo do need EA on its platform to an extent, that's a very arrogant and bullish set of demands EA has - but lets face it, they're not totally unexpected either.

And pardon me for saying but I'll believe what EA says about an 'unprecedented relationship with Nintendo' and throwing their support behind it when I see it - and I'm not going to hold my breath for that, ever.

Its amazing to see him being recognised for what he's done to transform the games industry, how far his influence has been spread and just how much impact he's had on everybody - players and developers alike.

I can't help but think though that he should have been honoured far earlier for his services than this. Its a crying shame that he'll never be able to pick up this award in person like he should have and he'll never know just how much he means to all of us.

Well since I already own Wave Race 64 on Wii's Virtual Console and have done the system transfer I'll qualify for WR at £1.49. Apply that offer to 1080 and I should have both games for a fiver? Count me in!

I really wish Nintendo would extend the same offers/discounts to those of us who've bought the game at retail, after all we've also supported and bought their title. It just seems unfair that we're never considered.

Awful, sluggish controls aside, it is a very good game and I am enjoying it a lot.

The day EA give a Nintendo machine its full support and delivers on the promises it makes is the day hell freezes over and I become Pope.

And as it relates to Nintendo, we've had a tremendous relationship with them over the years.

Have you? Where have you been and what games have you released on a Nintendo system that were; a) wanted by Nintendo owners and b) not shoddy ports (a 'la NFS on Wii) or 'waggle' games?

Pre-ordered this from the Nintendo Store as soon as it went up in August, cannot wait for this game!

I'd love to see the old red Nintendo come back, I was gutted when they changed to the grey. Although I'm used to it now, it doesn't look half as nice..

Chances are, (and very good chances too), Nintendo are filing patents for ideas they come up with that could POSSIBLY have some kind of use to them sometime in the future, they're just covering their bases and making sure no-one else comes up with or nicks their ideas.

They've said they won't discuss NX until E3 next year so just like every other patent that has been reported on by you guys and everyone else, its all rumour and speculation and until they do speak I don't believe a word of it.

I definitely think they should stay with a central host. I would like to see the new president make an appearance even if he only stays for the beginning segment. I'd like to see Satoru Shibata present for us, he's done a great job in the past and as some of his Directs have shown, he's not afraid to get a but silly himself - be it dressing up as an Ace Attorney or showing his singing skills in Wii Karaoke U.

Shame as I'm looking forward to playing it. Never mind guys, take your time. I'd rather have a game I can play than a game that's broken.

I was just thinking a few days ago about the Nintendo Loot Crate too. This could be a tester for it or something totally different. Either way, I hope it won't be too much longer for it.

Unbelievable. I'm over the moon I went to the Nintendo Store for mine and it'll make me very wary of pre-ordering from Game in the near future.

All I can say is; jealous, very very, very, jealous.. Nothing else I can say can equal that.

Very unexpected and also very excited too!!

It was Super Mario World for a very long time. Then I played Super Mario Galaxy and that stole its crown, which is quite a feat. The feeling you get playing it, discovering Rosalina's story, exploring the observatory and the feeling that the observatory actually links with the galaxy and planets you visit. I've played nothing like it since and SMG2 just couldn't stand up and reach the heights that Galaxy did.

SMW is still the best 2D platformer though

The detail is simply astonishing....and we never see it. What other company does things like this? No-one.

This looks excellent I think it'll do very well on the eShop. I just hope its reasonably priced and yes, I will be picking this up.

I remember being so stoked for this game and I'd have loved to have seen it released on the GameCube. I also remembered how gutted I was when MS bought Rare and I realised it never would be GC bound. I did get a 360 a few months after launch though and Kameo was the very first game I bought for it. It was brilliant.

There's some very cool looking games in there I'm looking forward to getting my grubby mitts on!

Where the hell is that coin?? I've got nearly 7,000 stars to spend but I daren't spend any yet as I want to make sure I have enough for it.

I already own Stealth Inc. 2 (great game btw) and Thomas Was Alone (not played it yet) from the last time TWA was on sale. I'm interested in Lone Survivor too but I've limited eShop funds and I'm waiting for E3 in a few weeks to see what deals they spring up then. I'll pass for now.

I genuinely feel sorry for those who have pre-ordered from Game and for once, its got nothing to do with Game's rip off's or attitude.

Makes me even more thankful that I didn't make my order with them. I very nearly did but went to ShopTo because they were offering a freebie with it.

As much I love Nintendo's window into the past through their Virtual Console, why don't they ever release proper VC games we all actually want? I'm all for letting those that got lost and thrown into the shadows time to shine but for goodness sake, wake up Nintendo!
