I don’t care. I’m happy with the switch. Graphics on the oled are great (depending on the game) performance ist mostly great (some programmers aren’t as skilled as others). Battery life with the new model and oled model is also great.

And the games are the most important:

• 1st party: amazing
• 2nd party: also great
• 3rd party: most important games are here I would only miss a few at this point (symphony of the night for example)
• indie: amazing

Online server could be better. Online service could need more retro systems/games faster. But overall it’s cheap and to a degree working.

I went digital this generation. And it works fine. I don’t know how good it will work when switch's eshop shut down, but this day is not yet. So I can enjoy it.

On my ps4 I’m also digital. And physical doesn’t make sense there. If I had physical games for switch, they would be playable as long as the switch is working. A physical ps4 game (or at least a lot of the triple a games) are only playable as long as the ps4 servers are online. Some games on the disk need a day 1 patch to be playable and those games are physical useless when the server shuts down. (And I don’t see the benefit of physical ps4 games because they get installed on tje hdd like digital ones)

As a snes kid I always replay DKC-trilogy and SMW.

I hope they took some lessons in switch programming. The current version is very poor. And if the can’t handle it, they should give it to a more experienced team.

I really liked the game but the slow downs are terrible in an action focused game.

Another low effort cash grab like fifa. No one needs this sort of games on the switch.

Why the hell are the credits laggy?

I stated with blue. Then red. On my og GameBoy and on the super GameBoy. Because we had 2 gameboys we could trade. In the first 3 generations I played all 3 games multiple times.

My wishlist:

1) GB, GBC, GBA
2) Pokémon for those Systems with online connectivity
3) another Sega console. I’m a Nintendo/PlayStation kid, so it’s interesting to see this other world
4) GameCube
5) Sega Saturn (I want to play croc on a Nintendo console)
6) finalizing of nes/snes library (maybe with a one pay option for longtime NSO owner to keep those after canceling the sub)

I’d like to play it on day one. But it’s an Ubisoft game. 50% next month, for 10$ at Christmas. So I will wait.

Sad for those who still use and enjoy those features. But no surprise.

I still own my PlayStation, but I’d love to play it on switch. Can’t be so hard to port it, they did ports of the old games and they release SotN for 3 bucks on iOS. Switch needs this game. Would be perfect to have SotN and Super Metroid on one console.

The switch bugs aside, is this game getting worse or why is it not worth 60/70€? You get houndreds of hours of great content so I think the price for this is much more worth it than every years fifa, cod or other low quality with high visual content stuff.

I understand that some don’t want to pay the normal price for an older game. And because it’s not Nintendo it’s often on sale, so should not be that much of a problem.

Not a big fan of mystery dungeon. I’d like a come back of the following spin offs:

• Pokémon stadium (Pokémon home integration)
• Pokémon pinball
• Pokémon tcg with story like the game boy game
• Pokémon colloseum

Definitely MP & PS. A bit sad we didn’t got t. Good rare games: DK64 & DKR.

As expected. The 3d battles were fun as a kid, but the other modes especially the minigames were played more often. So I think it’s fine and online multiplayer is cool for those.

Kirby gets mich more love for anniversary than Zelda

I don’t care for goldeneye and love to see other rare games: Conker, DK64, DK Racing.

Breaking News: also Fifa 23 coming … boring. Every year the same games with minor tweaks…

Ubisoft and ea have only a few games that are really interesting. Rest is just the same every year …

YEAH! + all Zelda’s in GB Online, GBC Online, GBA Online & NDS Online so we have all Zelda’s on one console. That never happens since the NES times.

Still playing Xenoblade chronicles 3. I’m only 95 hours in. So still a lot to do left. I’m not even in the post game 😅

Did none of you had a discman? To play Wii disc in the switch on go won’t be pleasant. With a home console backward compatibility is easy done. With a hybrid not. Gameboys and DSs had backwards compatibility also Wii and Wii U had it.

So if switch 2 doesn’t have it you can cry again.

The hd-2d style doesn’t fit everygame. Mother has such a distinct style, I’m not sure it would benefit from it.

I would love to have a super Metroid remake in Metroid dread style. Would pay full prize.

Maybe just nostalgia but I like the European design on every n64 game. Maybe just because I grew up with it.

Still have to play 64 but played a lot blue storm back in the day. And I love it. So I vote for blue storm and hope for an inclusion in NSO sometime

Finished guacamelee this morning and started with part 2. just waiting to play xc3 which is already on my switch

This could mean 4 things (ordered by probability):

1) nothing
2) Mario Kart f zero course
3) NGC online with GX
4) new f zero game

I had this game on my backlog for 3 years only did. the first 2 bosses.

Finished the game yesterday with 100% (not 112%) in less than 33h.

I really enjoyed it but I had problems to get started because of my bad combat abilities.

There are only 4 things that can improve the pro controller:

• trigger buttons for L/R2
• back buttons
• better dpad (8bitdo has currently the best)
• less noisy buttons (I play often with a sleeping baby on me)
  (- maybe a audio jack, but not necessary)

They really want us to buy this game, hm?

I only watched the release trailer. And won’t watch anything else. Want to go in as blind as possible.

Im currently playing HK for the third time.

1) start to hornet
2) hornet to fungi brothers
3) fungi brothers to boss in city of tears, and currently ongoing.

@Multiple Playthroughs: I can’t imagine to play HK more than ones (at least not yet). But no problem with Metroid Dread. And as kid of the 90s I played the DKC trilogy and SMW 20 or more times.

Any info about a Western demo?

I bought and completed P5R in Dec 2020 because I thought it wouldn’t come to switch (P5S was announced and destroyed the last hopes).

Maybe i buy it again in a sale. I’ve enough to play with XC3, P3P and P4G
