Why is this a new art style? My last gen (before sw/sh) was 3. and what I’ve seen from the das footage it looked the same. Just 3D instead of pixel.

@johnvboy more powerful than a toaster? sure. But the PS5 outperforms the XBX. Not by much but still.

If Xbox were the most powerful system it would make sense. But it isn’t. so it’s punishment at least against PS.

But I doubt ES6 will ever come. Skyrim is 10 and still selling. So I don’t think we miss anything.

And the best graphics can’t compensate the immobility of Xbox/ps.

Poor samus. I would have expected Super Metroid on this list. Metroid defined a genre and super Metroid is a timeless classic.

The games on NSO and NSO+EP are more enjoyable than PS Plus games (and you get all of the released games not only the games that were released while you subscribe) it’s an easy buy for me.

@YoshiAngemon this not how it works. if you have 3 months remaining, than you get a discount for those remaining months to the full price and get a new sub for the next year

@Crono1973 not true. I owned all of your mentioned systems. (I still have a N64). But I never owned Majoras Mask and a happy to final fill the gap. MM and till July SS were the only 3D Zeldas I've never played before.

@nimnio exactly. I liked Pokemon Sw/Sh. I stopped playing Pokemon after the 3rd Generation. Im happy to have a remake of Gen 4 coming to switch. im not the biggest fan of chubby but its a close remake which I think is fine.

I didnt preordered an OLED model. But seen it in hands it was awesome for a mostly handheld gamer. So I had to buy one ^^

I have NSO+EP behause i Like the N64 games. Don't care for Genesis. And AC is a nice bonus.

Do I think those are overpriced? Maybe. But I get lots of hours with joy/fun out of them (P Sw/SH has a save file with almost 200h). My old Switches (Launch & New Model; last one sold) clock in to have almost 3.500hours (144days). PS4/5 has better graphics but I only played around 600h with the PS4 (23.5days).

I play a lot while the tv is running or (before C) on the daily commute. I think the Nintendo products have a much better value (for me) than Sonys. As one who grew up with SNES/N64/PS im happy to play those classics

@PokemonDMG I don't own a 3DS and I Think the Switch has a better handling and better display. I don't own a Wii U anymore and I can play the Wii U VC on the go or anywhere in the house.

Besides the game wise improvements of the 3DS version I can't see that the 3DS or the Wii U VC is better than the Switch.

Lots of you say PS plus is a better value. For me it’s worse than NSO. I like lot of the SNES and N64 games. But the modern games I get from ps plus are 50% a stupid fps I wouldn’t miss if it’s never been developed and other B titles. There are a maximum of 3-4 games a year that k get through the service that I really like.

I have more joy/fun (= value of a game) with the NSO.

@Mr-Glissando I never played Sega consoles, but the Saturn had Croc and I'd love to play it on my switch.

Any information when we can order a Sega Genesis controller? I'd like to have at least one, to try the games with the original controller.

I miss the option „I wait for a sale“. I played them before and I would be more hyped 2 or 3 years ago. They missed the right Timing.

I think n64 is the main reason for the expansion (and only worth it if you have a family sub)

I don’t care for megadrive. I want the Saturn. Not that I have any feelings for it, but I’d love to play Croc again (I had it on PS) and it was also on Saturn. This could be a (maybe) chance to play it on my switch. Honestly If they had put in Saturn instead of mega drive I think the people would be more surprised and less annoyed.

Most of them are just due to lazy developers. I mean doom and Witcher run on the switch.

@DomGC maybe I should check those. Only checked the English so far. But I have a lot of games with only English/Japanese va so I’m not to concerned if it’s not in my mother tongue. But seems like I will enjoy Dread in German

There are lots of Nintendo games with more content and possible game hours that other AAA. 90% of the files size on ps5 are the graphic files. Nintendo saves a minimum of 75% through the lower 1080p resolution.

@Epo I think we will only get Englisch/Japanese voice over. The rest is only for the written text I guess. Or are there any information about translated voice overs?

This game would benefit so much from online play.

For me im happy that i can play N64 again. and I can do this on the go. I could plugin my purple N64, but it's outdated: it has no hdmi, no wireless controller, not very user-friendly joysticks... So im in (depending on the price) for the expansion and at least one N64 controller full prize and a second one on sale.

@All_who_stick_to_their_emulators: you are just saying instead of paying a few bucks you rather commit a crime and risk to go to jail or pay much more? Currently there is no legal way to buy roms so you can't to it legally.

@SmaggTheSmug there were also rumors about n64. Don’t remember from whom. But I had thought gb was more true than n64. Just because Nintendo.

I don’t know if this are good news. The last additions were Z Tier. Unknown games. With only a few people interested in. I’m not sure if those are worthy additions, when there a some fan favorites missing.

When does NGC come to NSO? 20th anniversary would a great time for it. But I doubt we will get it any time soon …
