@Maximumbeans maybe I enjoy playing the snes games again? And mobile? And for 9 bucks a year (NSO+EP) I can’t care less.

I dislike that just a rental service and would like to buy them or keep them after the sub.

And if someone likes those old titles and wants to play them again the prices for old games on eBay & co are sometimes higher than 10 year of NSO. So i can’t see that it’s too expensive.

Just missing some good games (Mario rpg) and being rental is disappointing.

@Bass_X0 I think a lot of people liked it. There are many requests for VC on switch. But won’t happen. And Wii U / 3DS eshop shut down bringing VC to end.

The main complain for some people that the prices were too high.

@symmy this just shows that you live in a fantasy world. As long as the company owns the games (with copyright or otherwise) it’s a real crime even if the systems are dead.

It’s a shame that we can’t buy roms for old systems for a small fee or that company’s gift some roms to advertise newer games.

And I know without those Rom sites we wouldn’t be able to play some of the old games. But it’s still illegal …

@SakuraHaruka that would be awesome. NfS till MW was the best Underground 2 and MW are my favorites. I wiped love to have a burnout from the ps2 era. Paradise city was only 1 player, no split screen and no mindless crahses.

It’s ea. it’s every year the same ***** with higher prices. They lost innovation and interesting gameplay over 10 years ago.

I think I don’t miss anything if I miss this.

(Except we get NfS Most Wanted 2, but the reboot of MW was bad, so no hopes for any good games from EA)

@Tandy255 understandable. Wasn’t my first palythrough. I even own my n64 and Kirby 64 today.

But yeah the dpad was rarely used. But perfect for Kirby.

@andyg1412 it’s ok. It depends on how many c buttons are used and how frequently. Kirby 64 for example. No problem. All c buttons Sontheimern same and you can access to of them with x and y (c down and right ?). If games use the c more frequently it can be annoying.

I played Kirby and yoshi exclusive in handheld mode: no problems. Same for paper Mario. I played banjo 60% docked with n64 controller and 40% in handheld. The handheld part was in some cases annoying but playable.

Maybe. Maybe not. But oracle remake should be a no brainer for Nintendo.

@Moistnado True. But second hand prices are very high for some of those games. And you need to have the older console.

To play those games on the go or at home with out the tv is very convenient.

@Moistnado i would also prefer to buy some old games. But this renting service is the only one we got. But to be fair I think some people (me included) tried some games they would never buy because they are included.

@betterman Bomberman R online is free. So i don’t know if many buy the offline version. And the NSO bomberman could be an advertising for bomberman R. (Even if some think that super bomberman is better, there will be people who want the newer entry)

@roccop interesting. Most comments here were negative for Sega on NSO. I’m a Nintendo child (and a bit ps) so I don’t have any nostalgia for segas games. I tried some in the subscription. But didn’t get why people love sonic. Was a bit too short and hectic for my taste. But I’m happy to play the Sega retro games to see what I maybe missed.

Which Games in the cd/32x or even Saturn do you want to see on the switch?

@Anti-Matter fair enough. I bought all My favorites from the ps1 era on switch (Spyro, Crash, CTR). Just missing croc and klonoa (last one coming in 2 month).

In Addison NSO is the cheapest way to play those games. 2nd hand market prices are way higher. (And Wii U/3Ds shops going down - sadly)

I don’t know why other companies don’t support NSO. I don’t know how the contracts with Nintendo are, but it could be an easy way for marketing modern games/remakes. I don’t know how many players bought the ghouls and goblins remake after playing the original on NSO. This is why I think we should get at least one FF and one Megaman X. This is a great promotion for the more modern titles or the collections. They don’t need to give us all of there snes games (wouldn’t say no if they did), but at least one to tease what we could buy.

After trying out some new games (didn’t own one before) I really enjoyed some of them.

This bug is annoying! Hooray for save states. Slow and steady.

Im happy that I finished aqua Star now. And hopefully won’t have problems with that bug anymore.

@DarkFighter you know roguelikes are very different from each other? Dead cells, headed and spelunky are all rogue likes and totally different. Maybe give it ago. You could be surprised. (I was surprised how much fun dead cells for me was in its trial)

@KBuckley27 how much were there in the previous games?

It looks interesting, but I dislike Fifa and Pro Evolution Soccer. On the other hand I had a lot of fun with Fifa Street. Could this be for me?

@romanista maybe I have to check again, but I had to pay if I wanted to download it by myself. Maybe now that the old one is deactivated it had changed. My Ps says I need to re login to PSN maybe that will fit it ...

maybe I get it on a sale for switch. but after the reason change its dead for me: I got it through PS+, had a lot of fun and rewarded this with buying some fancy dlc. But they changed the launcher and now I can't play it anymore without buying it again :/

@Hank_Scorpio how does it compare to the wave race storm? As I kid I only played the GC game. But I loved it uns wouldn’t mind to play again. (Or it’s prequel)

I'm sad that I still don’t get Kirby

Nintendo has lots of franchises. Why is it always the question Mario or Zelda?

@StuTwo I know. But I think for casual players, who never finished tloz or googled it, could be surprised.

I think we have some useful SP versions:

• Metroid/super Metroid: easy way to see all endings, even if you aren’t that skilled
• super Mario Kart: you can play multiplayer on all maps/ccm without unlocking it first
• Zelda II: weird and tough game, a start boost could be interesting for a lot of player

What I miss is a tloz version which starts with the second quest. Maybe this could be interesting for someone.

@Beaucine never thought about such special versions. Would love to have those.

@BadWaluigi i don't think this is legal nor illegal it is at least a gray area. I excluded VC because the stores are shutting down and not every body is willing to buy a 3DS/Wii U now to get the VC games.

I'd rather play OC on switch than on my N64 (yeah I have a working console and cartridge). Because of HDMI fro. the Dock and handheld mode. Easier to pick up and suspend.
