It's not every day that you get a new WarioWare game to enjoy, but today sees the series' Switch debut with WarioWare: Get It Together!.
The first WarioWare game since Gold on 3DS, Get It Together! takes the series in a slightly new direction by letting two players enjoy its microgames together for the first time. We really enjoyed our time with the game when playing it for review but some critics, while still mostly positive in their verdicts, weren't all as impressed with certain areas of its gameplay.
Of course, microgames aren't for everyone, but there's certainly lots of fun to be had in the right environment and it'll be interesting to see how well the game performs over time. To get an early indicator on this, we thought we'd hand things over to you.
Will you be buying the game? Are you a fan of the series, or will this be your first try? Cast your votes below, and feel free to expand upon your answers in the comments.
If you've already made up your mind, you can go ahead and buy a physical copy here. And if you've already got the game and are playing it as we speak, make sure to let us know how you're getting on with it so far!

Not at this moment. Needs to lower the price a bit.
I like the series and wouldn't mind picking it up at some point but not sure I'd get enough bang for my buck at the current price point.
Waiting for the postman.
Edit
I miss the Wario Land series...
No, I will not be getting it. Even if the game had a lower price point (as some people have mentioned), I still wouldn't be getting it.
@NESlover85 Wario Land 2 and Wario Land Shake it were masterpieces
Only 9% voted for WAH!? Come on NLifers, you can do better!!
My partner and I put three hours into the demo alone, just trying to beat our joint score (we managed 59 in the end). We had such a blast playing together and it just so happens to be our second anniversary today. She may or may not have confirmed that she’s bought it for us to play together when I get home from work. Very excited!
Not day one, but I'll get this sometime soon. I could see me and the missus having a scream of a laugh playing this.
Would pay full price for a new Wario platformer, that’s where my heart is with Wario
Someone from the mail office delivered it yesterday by accident.
Mwahahaha!!!
I wasn't excited enough after the demo.
I prefer the 3DS entry.
I'm ready for Cruis'n Blast next week
As with most first party releases (and most releases in general), I'm definitely getting it but not day one - budget and wishlist priorities are harsh masters. But despite only beating Touched to date (and playing a fair bit of Twisted, a hacked rom where the gyro functionality was replicated with shoulder buttons... wait, or is it what the game could always do?), I'm quite fond of this franchise with its combination of surreal minigames and fun characters. And GIT promises to be among the most memorable entries therein!
I've never played Warioware before, and I initially wasn't interested in this game. It just didn't seem worth my money, and I guess I didn't understand the appeal. But out of curiosity I gave the demo a whirl last week and had a blast. I pre-ordered that very night.
Already got it on digital. 😎 Usually prefer physical but this is the kind of game I want to jump into when I like without changing game cards (like Animal Crossing)
The demo alone was so addictive it was a day 1 for me!
I think I'll wait until Christmas.
By the way, I'm waiting for the review of Lost in Random. That I may get day one if it's worth it!
What about the option "I'll wait till it's on sale"?
if I lived alone, I probably wouldn't spend $50 on it.
but my girlfriend and I are gonna buy it together because the demo was an outstanding co-op experience!
@CharlieGirl I think it's an outstanding single player experience too. I'm addicted to trying to beat my high scores and with option to do so for all 200 minigames individually it will have a lot of replay value for me!
@Clyde_Radcliffe It is cheaper than other first party games but still a fair bit more than I'm prepared to pay.
Just not feeling it at the moment. Ive played every entry, I imported a copy of twisted from the U.S and a Japanese copy of the DS release. I even loved the Wii version despite my dodgy disc drive giving read errors conatantly. I'll probably get it eventually but at the moment it's not really on my priority list
I preordered it and I‘m still waiting for it to arrive…
Yeah I got it two days ago and I beat it in a few hours as usual but sadly unlike in Gold and a few other entries I don't think there is much worthwhile incentive to keep playing. Clearly this one has a bigger focus on multiplayer so I'll probably whip it out again when I do have an opportunity to meet my friends and see how that aspect fares.
As it is, It wasn't a bad Warioware game, the character gimmick is a pretty nice change of pace, but it is kind of hard to justify the price with the amount of content there is.
I have enjoyed the past Warioware games but always get bored of them after a few hours.
£40 is a lot of money for a couple of hours gameplay so will probably wait for the backlog to go down a bit or maybe a sale.
Yes! Already playing. Got through the first couple of stages, great fun! Also got a Wario keychain as a preorder bonus.
I don't care about a title with only minigames (on top of that timed challenges are the thing I like the least in games so easiest of passes)
@Clyde_Radcliffe no. € 43,95 is the cheapest I saw.
It's just too expensive for what it is in my opinion. For 30 bucks I probably would've gone for it.
I'll pick it up at a later date. I had it preordered but cancelled at the last minute, I loved the demo but want to be a bit smarter with game purchases, get the backlog whittled down a little more.
@Expa0 "Yeah I got it two days ago and I beat it in a few hours as usual but sadly unlike in Gold and a few other entries I don't think there is much worthwhile incentive to keep playing"
You don't enjoy high score chasing then? That's always been the main point of WarioWare for me and where it's addictive nature comes in, not completing the story mode. And for me I'm thrilled with the amount of unlockables and missions as that's another things I tend to enjoy.
i was planning to pre-order the game this month, but due to losing my Saints Row 2 retail disc, i decided to hold off on getting it this month and pick that up (and the DLC) digitally . i'll pick it up in December, (since there's nothing coming out of that month, that i'm really excited for.)
No, I won't be picking it up today. I purchased enough games the past few weeks (Xenoblade 2, Kingdoms of Amalur, Ys 8 & Ys 9, Final Fantasy 9, Ninja Gaiden Master Collection) to keep me busy for a while. I'll probably pick up a copy next month along with Metroid Dread and the OLED Switch.
I’m not sure, I found the demo annoying with the incessant over-explanation of the controls and the long, unskippable cut-scene after a game over. It felt like I didn’t get much of a chance to actually play the game.
Eventually. Cruisin' has taken my full price gaming money for this month.
Definitely WAH! But yeah, I'm getting this one. It will be my first one in the series to own
I'm going to play it this evening, after work
DUH! day one for me, the demo is so good!
The price needs to drop a bit after not being bowled over by the demo (massive fan of the first two GBA games though).
Definitely snagging it. Going to swing by Walmart when I have some time this weekend. Looking forward to it!
Yes, but on sale.
I put around 45 hours into Gold, which really got me into the series after having played Mega Party Games, Touched, and D.I.Y. growing up. Very excited to get my hands on the game today
I'm going to wait for a price lower because with Sonic Colours out and Pokemon on the way, that's a bit much on my wallet for one Q haha.
Yep! Big fan of the series. Ordered it from Argos. I had a £25 gift card from work I still needed to redeem so only cost £10.
Nope, you can’t play in handheld mode
Loving the care and attention put into the menus. This is absolutely what was missing in the WarioWare Gold...
This game's got the Nintendo Feels!!
Chose "WAH!" since I'm getting it down the road.
Not a must buy as far as I see it but it’ll w a perfect discount game
I tried getting in touch with my minigame mania twisting some smooth diy moves at a mega party, but my back snapped.
Yes, it'll be in the work mailbox later today
Pre-loaded. Had a confirmation in my emails that it is has been processed (and therefore downloaded). WAH.....!!!
Meh. Never really been a fan of the series… sadly was hoping by now the Wario Land Series would be making a comeback instead.
@MajorasLapdog Happy anniversary to you, many more. Live life and have fun.
No option for "My brother's buying me a copy for my birthday next week", so I couldn't vote in your poll! 😉😅
I bought the original Wario Ware on GBA. Didn't like it.
Heard Twisted was amazing, so I bought that. Not impressed.
Will never touch the series again. It's just not my thing.
I loved Wario (as a character) when he was a greedy, powerful treasure hunter (in the original Wario Land). I am sad they turned him into a farming, booger picking embarrassment.
Hell No I'd rather play Mario Party
Looking forward to it. Picking it up after work today. A buddy is coming over tonight and I will be introducing him to the series.
No, i cancelled my preorder. Disappointed in the lack of motion controls and overall simplified control scheme.
Love Smooth Moves on the Wii.
Too many games this year! But yes, I got it. My only complaint is that Wario's voice acting is mysteriously missing in the English version! It was so good in the Japanese version!
@jello64 thank you so much! We’re going for a meal and then a couple of drinks later, followed by some no doubt tipsy Warioware when get home haha. Thanks again, all the best!
What about an option of ‘yes im a fan but £50 for 4 hours gameplay is outrageous. Nintendo can shove it where the sun dont shine?’
Thanks for the reminder, think this is one first party title I'll get digitally on day-1 instead of waiting for a sale or getting the cart since mutiplayer sounds fun too. Been enjoying this series since the originals on GBA
Was going to wait, but saw on reddit I could get it cheaper through Staples with a coupon code, so I did that.
It's good fun but I will save my money for Dread when I am finished playing Ace Attourney Chronicles
price is too high for the amount of content offered, if its every $20 or less mayyyyyybe
The wait until BF is killing me. Killing me I say!!
Getting tempted but still may wait for the upcoming Nintendo Direct to see if anything better gets released.
I got it and just got done playing it a little bit for the first time. I feel like I should have just held of on getting it, or just not bother. I dunno... maybe I was just too tired. Maybe I'm just not as capable of thinking and reacting as fast as I once was. Whatever it is, I just didn't really have fun. Confused most of the time not knowing what to do, and not figuring it out till two seconds before the microgame ends, too late to actually win it.
I don't know... I feel like this game might not be for me. But it's too late now.
Yes, I'm definitely getting get it together. I've been very busy with work, and sleep when not at work, but will go to a store with my most protective mask on and buy a Warioware cart for my beloved, but partially abandoned, Switch. I've been busy exploring high frame rate games on my PS5 and rtx 3060 laptop and haven't even turned my Switch on in like 4 days, which is a record. Nintendo makes my favorite games, so I'm happy to have a new Warioware to take me away from 120fps racing with WRC 9 on PS5.
@hbkay "What about an option of ‘yes im a fan but £50 for 4 hours gameplay is outrageous. Nintendo can shove it where the sun dont shine?"
It's £40 and can be found for as low as £32 on physical and I'm not sure how it has "4 hours gameplay" when I played the demo alone for over 5 hours trying to beat my high scores, but okay... 🤨
Hell yah I can’t wait to play it 😊
I am a fan of the series and I bought it as soon as I could. Got it from Wal-Mart so it was $10 cheaper.
I'm going to keep playing (I seemed to have got pretty far yesterday before my controller died and I went to sleep), I hope the game can grow on me. One extra layer of confusion that was dragging me down was all the unique characters... which is cool, but when you already are taking three out of five seconds just to figure out what to do, that extra couple seconds to figure out your character's specific quirks is enough to lose.
Unpopular opinion but i don't like the "controling a character", i would have much prefered motion controls like Smooth Moves :/
I definitely going to buy it for my Warioware game collection to enjoy another entry in the series.
