@BulbasaurusRex Didn't NL do a talking point very recently? The poll results showed it wasn't that small that do think so. But even the general definitions of RPG don't restrict the amount of playable characters.

What immediately comes to mind is pretty much any of the Soulsborne games, Kingdom Hearts, Bethesda RPGs and the Divinity games.
BN has a quest, character growth and build choice (via styles/ deck, navicust etc.), fantasy/ scifi questline and side quests to boot, it might not be a conventional RPG but got the base there.

@BulbasaurusRex They are more of an RPG than Zelda which is contested as to whether it is or not and fairly sure that having a limited pool of characters to play as is the be-all and end-all otherwise you'd exclude a lot of games.

I think it's criminal that Battle Network or Boktai weren't included.

@Cosmo_Joe It's so easy for people so have a voice online now and complaining is too easy with no responsibility, I guess that's why cancel culture and cyber bullying is so big too? Taking things for granted and getting nit-picky when things don't go their way. Surely there must be studies/ TED talks on this kind of cultural behaviour?

@Cosmo_Joe Never said it wasn't worth that myself, only that some may believe it isn't. I too own all three for around the same price you paid and I believe it's well worth it currently but I understand why some may not.

@Cool_Squirtle People are still able to buy, enjoy and openly critique something though, just because it may be a minority does not invalidate their point. If nobody actually talked about a company's shortcomings or things that hold a game back there would be little to no growth in the industry, (healthy) criticism begets growth. Some of it is indeed petty but some is warranted.

@Cosmo_Joe More that the price doesn't reflect the quality, Mario 64 not widescreen, no word on SMG2, analog shoudler button for sunshine. They are small flaws but ones that are riling people.

@Cosmo_Joe It's worth critiquing though if you know the company can achieve greater rather than swallowing whatever you are fed. I too am excited for these games but I can see that the frustration is valid and by essentially saying "don't like, don't buy" it isn't acknowledging the flaws.

I love the Japanese style but I feel as though the North American box art reflects the type of game it is best. What with it being a FPS and the subtle image of Elvis as her focus. Thematically I believe it is the best representation although the 3D model has aged.

Wood cases (while having nice appearance) are super prone to easy breaks, dents and cracks...it will protect your switch from dust build up and that's about it. There's a good reason why wooden phone cases never took off.

I always like the Competitive Run. You have your battles as 'Set' so you can't switch every time you faint an opponent and you cannot use items in battle (Except Pokeballs). Pretty simple to do but adds a bit more of a realistic challenge so when you battle a real player its not as big a shock.

I love that people really love 999 this much. I thought it was a hidden gem. I can't think of anything else I wouldn't put on here but personal favourites are Lunar Knights (Boktai 4) and MMBN5DTDS...if you want me to expand that I will.

Just so people know, it's not really the case of a revealing chest but CERO is pretty stubborn with character's panties being revealed...so those two in tandem makes a lot of sense. It affects the rating system there quite a lot.

@PBandSmelly the unnecessary change in half of the boss fights were pretty questionable and the change to Zora link really hurt the water exploration though at the time of playing it didn't really phase me.

I don't see how people can tell that this looks bad? 20 seconds and it looks more interesting than most Hollywood action movies..but why are people reacting like it's the next sonic movie?

Number one earning franchise in the world(I think). Graphic models that are a fee years old now and the game hasn't been balanced competitively for years, that's why a passionate community created Smogon.

I get that past games restricted pokemon to that game until post game but I don't buy their reasons.

Motion controls make it too easy and the horror inflicted from the controls would be less intense.
