It's a privelage we get to play these games in the first place. It's not our place to negotiate as consumers and essentially blackmail them. We can voice our unhappiness with this or celebrate it. But threatening a business with illegal activity is not the strongest case, just because it's easy to do doesn't mean we should resort to it instead.

If being different is what they aim for....how about not paying to use online services that aren't selling points in this day and age?

@the8thark It's pretty clear that Odyssey is in another ballpark if you put it side by side with Y-L. Not saying Y-L is bad but it ain't a contender for many people's GOTY for valid reasons.

So not only did we have to wait for this version when many could have bought on another platform but we could buy it a second time and it would still be cheaper than the Switch version....Was super excited to finally play this but going to have to wait now.

I don't even know more than half of these games so not really missing them.
I reckon what they have is balanced out well. You add in Chrono Trigger that may make too many RPGs at once. People should be content with 'the other best rpg of all time'

If I could add any in it would be amazing if we got a translation of one the Fire Emblem games for it though.

There was no 'picked it up a few days later' option. Just walked in and bought one from EB Games.

I believe not from a business stand point that Nintendo aims to do what the rest can't. If they were a carbon copy of Sony and Microsoft then the gaming world would be very different, not trying to downplay the two at all but we all know how different Nintendo is. Sometimes it doesn't work but sometimes it does and the fact that millions can enjoy that which Nintendo brings is truly amazing.

They said it themselves that this console was supposed to bridge the gap between handhelds and the smartphone players...to do that you need to have other features aside from just games.

Saw another guide that said not to link your account with My Nintendo as one of the most important steps. You can then restart your game albeit by reinstalling and re-rolling to get the best heroes with Orbs. i myself learnt about this too late but a handy tip nonetheless.

@electrolite77 A game console has to be cheaper because it is a limited function unlike a good PC which is a lot more expensive and it is. If people can afford a phone they can afford this, different uses yes but it's all dependent on what the buyer will use their money on

Guys it's really not that expensive...you'll happily spend over 500 for a brand new iPhone. It's being released as a new piece of tech so I think it's fair

This was supposed to win over everyone as a new peice of technology. Show what's to come and give us all an incentive to buy at launch, yes it has Zelda which is great but what about other people that are to make the switch over to this console that aren't quite sold on Zelda what else do they have?

Everything else I am so excited for beyond words but it needs the Launch line up secured before it starts getting ahead of itself with release dates down the line.

@BLD Yeah I have the special edition just haven't quite finished the DLC for awakening. I enjoyed awakening's story so I'll probably enjoy Fates

Ouch have not played through FEF yet, why is it not critically acclaimed like Awakening?

Wait that review confused me. They gave a game a lower score because they didn't want to pay for it? Didn't agree by paying real money for virtual content.....that's what gaming is!!!!
