I'm liking the game but it really makes me just miss the old style swordplay. 30 second bursts of it and then waiting for monsters to do the job for me is kind of a bummer tbh. Everything else is good
Ok I know I left a comment on another story about how I've been burned by many of these pixel western indie RPGs but this one sounds kinda awesome possum
@fpcreator2000 well tbh falcom isn't the best at graphics lol. Which is fine. The art style is good enough. Except for Ys 9. As much as I love that game, they really dropped the ball with environmental art
I'm SUPER into samurai and ancient Japanese stuff but I really don't like rogue like/lites... I'll put it on the wishlist, buy it at a sale, and never play it like I did the others
@JohnnyC yeah probably similar for me too. Seeing Mario running around in 3d was AH MAZE ING back then. Kids nowadays will never truly understand how incredible that was to experience
@DripDropCop146 I had no troubles but I played offline and some split screen. My biggest issue was it only had 2 player split screen. Good times were had on Xbox playing 4 player split screen; shame they didn't do that

Re: Mini Review: STALKER: Shadow Of Chornobyl (Switch) - Legendary Series Stalks Switch With A Solid Port
@kendomustdie eh I've heard people say CS is the best and it's a prequel, so I just grabbed it because I'm starved for "realistic" switch shooters
I'll still read for the CoP though
Re: Mini Review: STALKER: Shadow Of Chornobyl (Switch) - Legendary Series Stalks Switch With A Solid Port

What is it they said about the new Ghost game?
Oh, don't like it, don't buy it. Right
Re: Upcoming Sea Of Stars Free Update Adds Local Co-Op, New Combat, Cinematics And More
Combat was my biggest issue with the game because you use the same few abilities the entire time, and I you learn them early into the game.
Also didn't think the main characters were very interesting
Otherwise it was a good game
Re: Tactical RPG Gem 'Unicorn Overlord' Smashes Past 1 Million Sales
I liked the game but damn it was so easy I just lost interest

Re: Sea Of Stars-Inspired RPG 'Forge Of The Fae' Looks And Sounds Stunning
I've been burned by too many indie RPGs to want to even give it a try. Sea of Stars was cool at first but ended up being as deep as a puddle

This is honestly the least offensive thing he has ever said/did.
Re: Bayonetta Star Jennifer Hale On The SAG-AFTRA Strikes: "AI Is Coming For Us All"
@MegaVel91 do you honestly think the powers and companies creating and refining AI are going to stop doing it knowing the other ones won't?
Very naive to believe everyone on Earth developing AI will cease. Y'all have a lot of faith in humanity.
Also people are still being killed constantly. Those laws may have mitigated it, but they will not stop human behavior. They never do.
Re: Bayonetta Star Jennifer Hale On The SAG-AFTRA Strikes: "AI Is Coming For Us All"
@TAndvig lol that's some wishful thinking
The genie is already out of the bottle

Re: Aspyr Is Bringing Another Classic Star Wars Game To Switch This August
@JohnnyC yeah probably similar for me too. Seeing Mario running around in 3d was AH MAZE ING back then. Kids nowadays will never truly understand how incredible that was to experience
Re: Aspyr Is Bringing Another Classic Star Wars Game To Switch This August
@JohnnyC I bet with modernized controls it wouldn't be half bad. I liked it back in the day too
I seem to remember it getting middling reviews tho and never really knew why. I didn't get very far in it back then
