The latest Steam Game Festival just went live, with a load of livestreams, developer chats, and demos for upcoming games to play. Many of these games will also be coming to Switch, so if you're the type who likes to sample the cheese before buying the goat, you might want to take a look.
Here's a non-exhaustive list of games with demos:
- Super Buckyball Tournament
- Little Nightmares II (which comes out February 11th)
- Gal*Gun Returns (which comes out February 12th)
- Retro Machina
- Shores Unknown
- First Class Trouble
- Lust From Beyond (the prequel to banned-and-then-unbanned game, Lust For Darkness)
- Skatebird
- Narita Boy
- Windjammers 2
- Roguebook
- Minute of Islands (which comes out March 18th)
- Bloodroots (which is already out on Switch, but not on Steam)
For the full list, check out the Steam Game Festival page, where you can sort games by genre, visuals, themes, and features to find something that's right up your alley.

I'm all about Little Nightmares II and Windjammers 2.
The rest? Meh.
Cool. I'ma try out the Gal Gun demo. I wish it'd get a demo for Switch, though, as I'm more concerned about how it'll perform in handheld mode, and without gyro aiming.
Little Nightmares 2 has a Switch demo: https://www.nintendo.com/games/detail/little-nightmares-ii-switch/
SKATEBIRD DEMO Hell yeah!
Yeah, Little Nightmares 2 has a demo on the switch and that screenshot is of the first game...
Sadly my PC runs like a potato. I hope they release a Switch Skatebird demo.
@Clyde_Radcliffe you could play the trailer while holding a controller and pretending it's you?
On the subject of demos, I noticed that Captain Tsubasa now has one.
Really enjoying Windjammers 2. Day 1 purchase on Switch.
@KateGray 😆😆😆😆
