Yeah, Japanese version is way better.
I hope the Localization Team doesn’t take so many liberties with the game as has been done with the Trailer.
For example, the Japanese says “The Tokyo we’ve been living in is... a lie!” Suggesting the world of supernatural entities is the true reality. Whereas the English says something about an alternative universe, which represents a big difference to me.
The EN version turned me off, but the JP version has me intrigued again.

@BreathingMiit they do when they basically operate a monopoly. Plus, they’re not allowed to editorialize or have a political spin under Section 230 or they lose their protection from lawsuits over content. It’s free speech or lawsuits. So hopefully the lawsuits are coming.

My wife would like them to release the originals on Switch too. She didn’t care for this one as much.

@korosanbo I completely agree. Something about it is just so irksome. From the name, to animation, to writing, to characters, etc (environments look really good tho!)

@Muh-ario To each their own, but I was so hyped for Byleth, and as my main, the character has revitalized my love for the game — super fun character! I play everyday.

I think Fire Emblem stuff is the best part in Smash Brothers, but this is really funny all the same. 🤣

Ugh, I was hoping they would Nerf Pyra/Mythra.
It’s true that players have adapted, so it’s not the slaughterhouse it was day 1. But these broken characters still carry a lot of players. I would like just a little more lag on Pyra’s insanely powerful moves.

I am Setsuna was really good. Switch version had some additional content too, I think. Anyways, enjoyed it thoroughly. Great battle system, kinda reminded me of Paper Mario 64 in an abstract way.

Sounds nihilistic, therein Luciferian. Which would be a shame, because if it isn’t, I would be interested.

Loved this game. The formula got a little stale in parts, but still loved it. I’m really excited for Triangle Strategy now!

@VoidofLight I kind of agree. My kids like it, so that’s nice. But there’s not a lot you can do in the game... I wish some of the cool items you can get were more interactive. Everything is just a... decoration.

@Damo Thank you, Damo. The article is justified seeing as how Yamauchi is such a big part of the DNA to Nintendo. But I feel it lacked context to say "this isn't really about Nintendo, but loosely connected". I'd like to explain my confusion. I saw the image, and read the title, and actually felt alarm, like "is there some hostile corporate shenanigans against Nintendo?" then I read the article, and was left confused. Probably because two of the major players of the article (Yamauchi's family trust, and Japan Systems) are total unknown entities to me and don't directly affect Nintendo (in the way I care about). Still, I love this site, read it daily. Thank you for your articles.

These are usually good for a laugh. I love hoarding my GSP and playing for glory, but these always bring that crazy madness of Smash.

Wow, really? Her voice acting in BotW was a highlight for me. Easily my favorite Zelda ever, I just love her voice. I feel her lines are not as good in AoC, but she brings them to life very well!
She’s the best actor in those games. It’s the guy who does King Hyrule who disappoints me. But, even he’s pretty good.

@nessisonett there’s no link in my comment. The only actual link is the one between vaccines and autism. Do some research, and not just from pro-vax info. “Trust the science” is the least scientific thing you can do. Science is “question everything” and identify connections, even if someone is paid to say there is none.

I hope there’s sections where you can run around and explore the environments a little. I know that’s not what Musou games are known for, but that was my favorite part of BoTW.
