Re: The Original Nexomon Game Is Coming Soon To Nintendo Switch

River3636

@Wexter Yes they should. I only pointed out because the Dragon Quest and the Shin Megami series invented the monster catching games. Pokémon just popularized it. So maybe we should call it Poke Megami or Shin Poke. This would be like Metroidvania games. We are so lucky to have 2 Megamis out this year on the Switch.

Re: The Original Nexomon Game Is Coming Soon To Nintendo Switch

River3636

OK there’s too many Shin Megami/Pokémon clones this year. There are saturating it just like the MetroidVania games. I am currently playing Monster Hunter Stories 2 and it is amazing. Do not be fooled by an old school clone that looks like mobile vomit.
These are the ones to get and this is too much.
Shin Megami Tense III
Ni no Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom
Shin Megami Tensei V
Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Pokemon Shining Pearl

Re: Round Up: Here Are The First "Hands-On" Impressions Of The Nintendo Switch OLED

River3636

I mostly use handheld about 80% of the time. I only use dock mode for Ring Fit and a select few games that have a special place in my heart like Xenoblade and the Dragon Quest. The super deluxe AAA RPGs. I own the Lite and the OLD G Switch. This would replace my Lite witch I absolutely love ❤️. The LIte fits in your hands better than the OG and is light on the hands and does not feel awkward. The original Switch controllers would sometimes come off (not often) and drift. The hand cramp was real. This would make my Lite obsolete. I wanted it yesterday but now I don’t want it today. I guess I’m on the fence.

Re: Metroid Series Tops Wii U eShop's "Best Sellers" List Following Dread Reveal

River3636

If you have the 3DS Ambassador program you have Fusion. I will be picking up Samus Returns on the 3DS. That one slipped through my radar. So now 2D Metroid is a thing? There is a whole genre named after it.” Metrodvania”. There was one Metroid I never beat I think it was Zero Mission. There was this boss that made me throw my GBA and I never played it again. I was wondering if maybe you guys could do a timeline on the Metroid series. I do own most of them. It would be a cool article/video. It would also get us prepared for this hype train that I’m about to ride.

Re: Roundup: Here's What Was Revealed In Nintendo Direct E3 2021

River3636

This Direct was OK. Nintendo did what it needed to do. It showed BOTW 2 and gave a Tentative release date. Metroid Dread was a good surprise. We saw footage of SMT V. I rate the Nintendo direct a 7/10. If you are an RPG fan you are in heaven. I’m booked for the year. I didn’t get Xenoblade X like I wanted, but that’s OK.
Monster Hunter Stories
Ys IX: Monstrum Nox
Skyword Sword
Ni no Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom - Prince's Edition
Astria Ascending (Wait for a review)
Shin Megami Tensei V
Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Pokemon Shining Pearl
Dragon Quest 3 (tentative)

Re: Inti Creates Shares A Fresh Look At Blaster Master Zero 3

River3636

I’ve always love Blaster Master. I played it for NES, Sega Genesis, GBC, and Switch. The first Blaster Master for the Switch, I played a lot. It was the only game I really liked after BOTW from the launch titles.I beat the first one twice but didn’t finish the second one. I think a AAA game came out and I lost interest. It felt like they ran out of ideas. It was the same thing and there’s nothing wrong with that. The game is affordable and I will be getting the third one day 1.

Re: Shin Megami Tensei V Release Date Seemingly Leaked Ahead Of Nintendo's E3 Direct

River3636

@xPH03N1Xx86 The rumor is that Xenoblade X may be ported to Switch, but rumors are rumors. I know Monolith Soft is working on an original game. Who knows? If X does come out, it’ll probably be sometime in March 2022. I know SMT is a priority because overall there will be great games that are going to come out later this year. I will purchase probably all of them it’ll just depend on the order.

Re: Nintendo Reminds Us The Switch Online Service Now Has Over 100 Classic Games

River3636

@Geostyle It’s just that I love retro games and I have all the NES/ SNES on a Cool little GP wind handheld. So when I see the set up of this and what little crumbs they throw at us. I just want to hurl a chunk. I am kind of an RPG guy and all there is on there his breath of fire and breath of fire 2. I also still have my WiiU set up And have quite a collection from the Wii and WiiU virtual counsole. I was a fanatic back then. I have at least 200 games that I’ve purchased over the years. So when the online service started I was excited yet apprehensive. Sure it’s only $20, But to me it’s having me gag in a bad way. Hence the vomit comments.

Re: Nintendo Reminds Us The Switch Online Service Now Has Over 100 Classic Games

River3636

I’ve played all those recycled classics on the Wii, WiiU and 3DS too many times to count. I like obscure games but yuck and the fact that we only have NES /SNES is just sad. I will call it monkey vomit again. It’s predictable that even if we do get the gameboy and GameBoy Advanced games it would be a slow slow drip. I don’t even use the online service.I got it for this vomit 🤢 fill collection that was way better on previous consoles. I’m not renewing my subscription. I’ve had it since it began and I play like one game. I would pay more but I am not falling for this again. I even bought a handheld emulator but nothing beats playing nintendo games on a Nintendo console. So big deal we have 100 game library filled with chunks of vomit.

Re: Mini Review: Spanky's Quest - Surprisingly Charming Monkey Business

River3636

Like I said before this is a bunch of monkey vomit. Are we going to get anything else besides SNES and NES games ?Then when we get the so-called games their meh 😒.I have nothing against Spanky and if you like him good for you. You have to admit that slow drip is just flat out ridiculous. They’re probably going to put GameBoy games on next if they even put another console on there. That’ll last for another two years. I’m not renewing my subscription. I don’t really play online anyway.

Re: Reminder: Five NES And SNES Games Hit Switch Today, Plus A Special Version Of Super Mario Kart

River3636

The release of games is just SAD 😢. We know they can put other games on there. The slow drip 💧 is predictable. It is funny because I do not play online that often if ever. I only purchased online for the retro library. I have only played one game one since the online games came out. I have to ask myself why am I paying them? Is it because it is only $20 dollars a year? Is it because I have nostalgia? I think 🤔 it is time to ask myself is it worth it? I know it’s only $20 a year but this is monkey vomit.

Re: Dragon Quest Creator Teases Exciting Announcements For 35th Anniversary

River3636

Let us not forget about Dragon Quest Monsters. Let’s also not forget there still is an untranslated Dragon Quest Heroes 1 and 2. Will Dragon Quest 10 finally make it to the west? Could Dragon Quest four through six make it to the Nintendo switch like one through three? Are we getting an announcement on Dragon Quest 12? I know I’ll be watching. My expectations are very high. For the love of Dragon Quest give us the games.

Re: Feature: Every Dragon Quest Game Ranked

River3636

I actually love every last one of them. The only one I like the least was Dragon Quest seven, but I still enjoyed it. I have fond memories of the NES classics one through four, so the nostalgia is high. I again played four on the DS and enjoyed it immensely. Dragon quest five and six are very solid as well. The List is hard to make.
My top 3
3. Dragon Quest 9
2. Dragon Quest 8
1. Dragon Quest 11
