@bezerker99 I'm a little confused how you ever decided to use a control scheme with both X-axis and Y-axis inverted. I totally understand inverting the Y-axis, I do the same as I used to be a hardcore PC flight sim enthusiast so it's natural for me to pull back to go up, by why would you want to press left to go right and right to go left?

@justin233 $15 isn't bad at all, actually. It's only 3 dollars less on Steam, and I can assure you that this game will suck you in for hours, especially once you start going wild in sandbox mode and making your own creations and downloading other people's published levels. Really, this would make a great addition to anyone's Switch library if you're into physics/puzzle games.

Just cancelled my pre-order, thanks for saving me some money! Honestly, I'm kinda bummed that this ended up being such a poor execution, I was really looking forward to this game. I'll wait and see if they're able to salvage it through patches in the future, but given the turbulent development, I won't hold my breath.

@Hughesy While it's obviously the same game at it's core, I think it should be noted that the AI was likely tuned to cater to the limitations of touchscreen/accelerometer controls. If it truly ends up being the same game minus the paywall, I won't be giving it a go either. However, if the developer has reworked the driving model and AI to be more in line with console expectations, I see no reason to overlook it just because of it's roots.

Honestly, I don't understand why everyone is condemning this before they've even played it or read a proper review just because it started out as a mobile game. From the looks of it, the game has been completely retooled to be full fledged console game. From what I understand, they've turned up the graphics, they've obviously redone the input system to accommodate physical controls, and they've added a whole lot of content. Of coarse the "free-2-play" mobile version was crap, most mobile games are. If these guys can turn what they have into a full on console sim, I really don't see any reason not to give it a fair shake.

Re: SFANS Provokes the Ire of Indiegogo Backers With Delay and Design Change

@cfgk24 That's correct. It's worth noting though that non-Nintendo power supplies that will actually power the dock are difficult to find. The issue isn't just whether the power supply can provide enough power, the power supply must support a very specific protocol know as USB-PD (Power Delivery). To make matters even more confusing, power adapters that support Power Delivery only output in USB-C, but not all adapters that only output in USB-C support power delivery. There are so far a couple of companies that are marketing power bundles specifically for the Switch like the one from Bionik Gaming:

As it is now, I would stick with the official Nintendo product or something like the products from Bionik or Nyko to avoid confusion over compatibility.

@cfgk24 You're in the ballpark, but not quite there... there is no "handshake" between the Nintendo power adapter and the Switch like there is with Lightning cables and iPhones/iPads. The issue is that the dock needs a 15v/2.25amp supply of power to run, otherwise known as a USB-PD (Power Delivery) profile, which counts out most USB power supplies. If you use a USB power adapter that is rated for USB-PD, the dock does indeed function. As far as I know, this is also the case with aftermarket docks.
