Mad stuff, who could be assed?! Combined with the seriously weird advertisement user reviews (I bought dragon age inquisition recently and checked out the ps4 user reviews, there was a straight up copy paste of the ign review synopsis as one of the most recent reviews) and you really cant trust them! That's why I use NL and PS along with community comments to sense check games. I cant wait to play this at some stage but I'm trying really hard not to buy anymore games till I finish the ones I have!
@PJOReilly @Punisher67 thanks for the replies!! I've never played a crpg before but have been close to buying this a couple of times on ps4. Handheld seems perfect fit for it though.
@SpicyBurrito16 I bought the digiroot 2in1 stylus from Amazon. I'm in uk but it actually shipped from NA. It's very good with switch touchscreen but a bit sombre vs a mario themed one!
I enjoy it and my 5 yr old daughter loves making courses, even if they are truly terrible. I think the content could be better curated. Some of the content is so good but I'm actually more likely to find it from an article here than any search!
So much salt for this game!! Each to their own but it's a decent multiplayer offering. Local doubles is brilliant and well matched standard singles is awesome. Second most played switch game behind BOTW. More hours than even splatoon or smash. Those who don't have it can try with an open mind
Got this on a deal at argos but I've been waiting on the dlc before I start. I don't know whether I'm excited or scared that dlc is coming this year, I'm worried this will actually take over my life!!!
Great story, I think its testament to his approach that Nintendos greatest success was when they catered for non-traditional gamer markets. My 80 year old grandad when he was alive bought a bloody ds for brain training
Team chaos, gutted that this is the last splatfest. Love splatoon, one of my fave multiplayer games ever. I just bought the dlc in the last sale and will have to give it a try after a weekend of chaos mayhem.
Used to be grim, playing mario aces I would charge the net every time I received a serve!! Compressed air didn't fix it, sent it back to Nintendo as within warranty and they fixed it. I bought a pro controller after that and a gooseneck stand to hold my switch and now very rarely use my joy cons. Hope they fix it for switch lite
Not for me, I'm fine with my og switch but I think it will sell absolute gangbusters!!! Its going to fly off the shelves at Christmas for kids aged 6-13 with pokemon and animal crossing.
Nintendo repaired my left joy con after 9 months (in first year warranty and free to be fair). I completely get people saying they need to look at sorting the joy con. However, I liked the Wii remote and the switch pro controller is awesome, I keep looking for a converter so I could use it with my ps4. If anyone is going to do something awesome with a controller, it's probably going to be Nintendo
@Agramonte to be fair I played this on a base ps4 and one of my mates from work tried to convince me it was worth building a 1k rig to play it at 60 fps ultra! He looked at me like I was peasant for playing on a ps4. Novigrad made my ps4 sound like a jet engine about a year after launch. Everyone has a level to balance where they play, whether it be performance, play on the go or the platform they have.
When this is happening, there really no reason for gta V not to make switch, particularly as they have the 360/ps3 version to work of. Come on Rockstar, take our money!!
BOTW was my first zelda and I loved it! More sequences like the yiga clan, more dungeons and more side quests like on the island where you lose your weapons or when everything is pitch black. I'm not too fussed about weapon durability but would prefer weapons to have more unique move sets. Keep the rewards for exploring things that were visually interesting. I actually want to play BOTW all over again and buy the dlc just talking about it.
I normally comment on pushsquare.com and very rarely here but to be honest, I thought it was a pretty decent e3. Some great third party reveals and clearly the big N are benefiting from merging handheld and console support. Apart from thinking about spending 35 quid for a wii version of the metroid trilogy, I'm a happy gamer. Great show!!
I've been on the verge of buying this so many times, if handheld is decent then this might be the time. Christ knows what people will think of me when I squea on the bus!!l
Truly an amazing game, hearts of stone is my all time favourite dlc, to those who haven't played it, ENJOY!! I'm very tempted to buy again but scared as I put 200 hrs into one play through of base game and dlc and didn't even play gwent!!
I'd be happy with the first ori game tbh, I don't think Nintendo are going to let Microsoft put streaming gamepass on switch as it will smash actual eshop sales. Happy with Nintendo first party and the odd cheeky 3rd party. If your buying a Nintendo console, you know what your signed up for. If your a serious gamer, chances are you've got a couple of platforms for things.
I had one of these as a kid, played Mickey mouse castlevania (which was rock hard by the way), an after burner style game and a game where you searched round mazes and fighting blobs in turn based battles. Happy times, rated mine
At launch it didn't have some features it should have but genuinely, I've had more fun playing this online than many other sports game or fighting game. If you've not tried it, worth a look, especially if you couch coop for doubles!!
It's a surprise when current gen, cross-platform games releases on a handheld, not the other way round. You know what you get (and don't) with a Nintendo system. I love my switch but am under no illusions as to what the system is.
@Medic_alert great to hear!! Never played portal or sequel before. Playing some of these older titles in upscale 4k has to be one of the most appealing points of the X1X, wish my ps4 had backwards compatibility. I'll be playing on an og 360
@Liam_Doolan cheers, just wondered if the they had said a particular age group (7-9) etc but no worries. Wish I had this at primary school!! I did get the Oregon trail on a BBC computer though and still remember that we got to play it in groups of 4 when we were 10, fun times.
@Liam_Doolan any idea what age group they decided to go for in school? Would love to get some labo for my 4 yr old but feel she's still too young to really get it.
Had mine for nearly a year, really rate it. Botw is a masterpiece and enjoy it as I get to game on second screen when the mrs is watching some God awful tv!!
