A brand new trailer has been released for Saints Row: The Third - The Full Package, treating us to a look at the game's signature comedy.
The video above is called 'The Memorable Moments 1 - When Good Heists Go Bad' and is actually the first in a series of gameplay trailers set to be released over the coming weeks. This first episode highlights the moment when the Third Street Saints were the kings of Stilwater. Pierce has just become the face of a soft drink campaign, while The Boss, Shaundi, and GAT are taking a shot at robbing Stilbank's National Bank. As you can see, things don't go exactly as planned.
You'll be pleased to know that all of the footage presented in the trailer has been taken from the Nintendo Switch version of the game. It launches on 10th May, and a fancy physical deluxe pack is already available to pre-order.
Excited for this one? Pleased with the footage in the trailer above? Share your thoughts with us below.

I have nothing else to say but lol.
Looks very good indeed. Pre-loaded and ready for release day
Videos of it running on the net as yet again it's another game leaked by pirates.
Got this on my Xbox so not double dipping this time. Does look good on switch mind so possible bargain bin down the line.
Q to anyone who's played it previously..
Is it possible to just load the game up, ignore any and all storyline faff, and just aimlessly wander around the environment like you can with BOTW?
This game was leaked a few days ago.
It's an open world game, so yes you can go around committing all kinds of shenanigans.
I never played any Saints Row game before so it was a pleasant surprise for me when I played it yesterday. This game is hilariously rude and over the top. Runs really well on Switch without any patch, looks sharp and I didn't see any popup at all. It's actually more entertaining than GTA, I'm glad they port this game to Switch. The game is surprising small at under 8GB.
The only bad thing about this game is the lack of motion controlled aiming. I hate playing shooting game on console using the right stick to aim.
@nintendolie Good to know. I was slightly worried it might've been like earlier GTAs where half the "sandbox" was inexplicably closed off until you complete certain missions. If it's more like the later ones, where you can just "enjoy" the world, then that's kinda what I'm after.
@Jayenkai
There is an intro mission you have to do first and you definitely can't access every feature either unless you progress further in the game.
@Expa0 That's just the intro, same with GTA V.
As long as I can free-roam, that's the important bit.
My motion-sickness means I can't play for lengthy sessions, so even a "This mission will only take 10 minutes" is sometimes too much for me to cope with!
Popping in and out of BOTW has been a great experience. I'm slightly peeved that I can barely play any of the DLC I paid for, because it requires me to complete the main game first, and I can't quite manage to get that stupid Yiga Clan mission done.. But otherwise, all is good with that, and it's nice to have the option of aimless wandering.
In normal circumstances I would be saying "not double dipping" too, but I passed on this game back in the day because I hadn't finished Saints Row 1 and don't even own 2. And now I feel the urge of a GTA (or a substitute) on my Switch in order to play it on the go, so with this release price I'll definitely get it.
Not going to fall for the deluxe edition, though. I'm not really using any of those items (a sountrack CD would have been a nice deal), and it's a Game exclusive anyway, so I'll stick to my usual store, for which I have a 10 euro discount. For 23 € it's really worth the Saints Row 2 (and most 1) procrastination.
I've got two copies pre ordered for co-op!
As long as it doesn’t pull a half on cart half download junk, I will buy it day one.
@Jayenkai If you've played a grand theft auto game, then you pretty much know what you're getting. You need to do story missions to unlock some of the on-map optional missions. But the map is free roam, for the most part.
The main difference between the two series is tone. GTA is a parody of real life that's just a little over the top. Saint's Row, on the other hand, started off as a GTA-like series. But SR3, and onward, just go completely over the top. If you don't mind goofy, then SR 3 is a fun open world game, with cars.
If it as online multiplayer modes such as (protect the pimp) lol like the 1st game did I will preorder this, does any1 know?
game nr1 was legit, those shockwaves after explosions. Nr2 went south and 3 was the tragic end to a wonderful series. Thats my opinion though, i know allot of people will disagree.
@Ayye-ant It has online and local multiplayer, but as far as I know, the only option is to play the normal game in co-op. Of course that means that you can play all the crazy side activities as well.
Looks good. If it plays well I can finally get my GTA5 fix on the switch
@countzero oh Aite thanks bruh
are people really excited over this? i've seen and played all of this before :S
On the fence. Not sure if I will get it but I don’t think there is any other game like this on Switch. Might give it a try.
I was able to purchase a legit copy and it plays well. Really fun game, never ended in the past so this is a great pickup for me
Theres something missing in my gaming life since I sold gta V, will be giving this a go!!
I still wish you could just shoot Nyteblade and be done with it. Hated that jerk.
@huyi you are allowed to play games more than once.
I was late onto Saints Row 3 think I got it as a game for gold on Xbox. Didn't like the 1st one never played the 2nd and don't like GTA. But my mate convinced me to give it a go as it was free and coop. Did not disappoint. Unfortunately I can't persuade him to buy a switch to play through it again.
