@Wanjia I enjoyed my time with eve online. I'm a sucker for space , but that game is a vocation that's for sure.

They should have just released them as one title and let you choose your starter. The press from topping the charts will have been a good marketing strategy to generate more hype leading upto Christmas.

Fallout 76 in at number 3. I hope people who bought it enjoy it, but part of me wanted it to flop to teach Bethesda that the days of cashing in with unfinished buggy games is over. It would appear not.

Currently paragon level 60 with a crusader , going for a thorns build and running greater rifts for materials.

If you have never played D3, you owe it to yourself to play docked on good volume and handheld with headphones.

Who didn't see RDR2 stomping into first place though, I mean c'mon partner.

Having played it through to act 3 , It isn't perfect (my perfect won't be yours etc) , but it is extremely polished, with an incredible amount of depth. I would agree with the point someone above said about it not looking so appealing if the old West isn't enough to peak your interest. but I do still think that anyone with an Xbox or PS4 should very strongly consider picking it up.

I would go as far as saying it's a piece of software that has had so much work put into it , over an 8 year or so development cycle , that I personally have only played one other game this generation that has similar depth and content, and that's the Witcher 3.

Next purchase for my switch is Diablo 3 , as I never played the necromancer on pc and fancied having a go on my commute. C'mon Friday

FF7 finally ! In my opinion , mostly due to nostalgia and being 8 years old when I played it first time around , it's the best RPG I've ever played.

Disappointed to not see FF8 on the list.

I'm disappointed that D3 will be behind an online paywall. While admittedly it's not a lot of money (subjective) , It's a less consumer friendly push from the last of the console manufacturers.

I will be getting this day one , had a switch since launch and been asking for this title so I feel obliged to do my part.

Not sure how much it'll be played at first due to AC odyssey, red dead 2 and I'm still doing what I can to get through spider man and dragon quest xi.

Adulthood seems to be all the money for all the games , none of the time.

If we are all completely honest with ourselves , this comment section shows some of the best and the worst of human behaviour.

In no way does delaying this direct inconvenience anyone at all and to suggest otherwise is ridiculous. The games contained within it will no doubt still launch on time.

@Supadav03 Imo , your experience shows why cross platform is a double edged sword. Luckily it defaults to same platform play so it's not completely unbalanced.

From my very limited playtime of this game , I can't say I noticed any issues on switch besides naff draw distance.
On mobile however , I played it on my razer phone and I deleted it after a few minutes, that 'hitching' issue literally made the android version unplayable.

My only annoyance is that switch physical games are pricey all year round. There never seems to be a decent sale for physical games which is something the other platforms benefit from quite regularly.

I still have the occasional go on AoV with my razer phone and I think it's a great Moba.

And it's free , and those microtransactions don't seem to unbalance the game as far as I can tell. Another game for people to try at no cost.

I played the hell (pun very much intended) out of D3 and reaper of souls at launch and cannot wait to play this on my switch.

I wonder if Nintendo would be so keen if they had the lion's share of the market ?

I love my switch and think Nintendo have done well , but if they were in the same situation as Sony , I don't know if they would be as keen on segmenting the console market.

Im pretty confident Pokémon let's go is going to be a system seller for them. There are alot of untapped parents wallets.

Having said that , I would like to see a Zelda Hd collection of the old titles at some point.

At least the game got ported over, that's a win in itself for the switch.
Having said that , I can't help but wonder if panic button would have done a better job on the presentation , they are really becoming the authority on 3rd party.

Pre ordered ages ago, played the prologue demo, and haven't looked back. Comes out 5 days before my 28th too , living the dream

I have held off picking up XC2 as I have seen a few people say it's a slog.
Obviously anything like that is subjective , but being a FF , Zelda and Star ocean fan, would I enjoy the mechanics and story of this game ?

I wouldn't be surprised to see a paid multiplayer dlc.

Something in the style of titanfall 1's "story driven" multiplayer, just executed better.

This looks interesting ,one of my favourite features of the switch is the ability to jump into co op wherever I am so the more games that cater for it the better imo.

@Cobalt Difference in opinions but fair enough, I just didn't enjoy the experience , it made me feel somewhat detatched.

The switch isn't perfect as you point out, but IMO it's a step up from the gamepad with regards to controller functionality. I actually use the seperate joycon alot when away from home , so I'd take them over a second screen personally.

I bought the Wii u and it never sat well with me , I felt like the gamepad was a hurdle between me and the games , I'm sure others really enjoyed it.

I haven't noticed a difference personally.

I have been holding a world cup at work on my switch when we are quiet and my staff love it. Won as Russia 2-0 to Egypt today, wonder if that'll play out this evening?

Very true regarding the lasting impression of a franchise.

When I was 11 years old I played ocarina of time , and at 26 I was as excited to play BOTW.

Maybe this is abit of an overstatement , but sometimes a franchise of your childhood becomes like a lifelong friend. Sometimes you don't see them for years, but when you next meet , it's as fun as the first time.

IMO, if the individual has an addictive personality then anything can become an addiction.

I do think more needs to be done here in the UK to manage people's screen time , specifically smartphones , as I see that having a bigger impact on people's cognitive and communicative abilities.

I liked the last question in the poll, it made me think back to all of the great people I've met through gaming online.

All of the 'products' he's launched have been god awful , either cheaply built or non functional.

Of all the versions being released, I'm pretty confident that the switch playerbase will help each other more than invade for trolling sake, of course , I could be completely wrong.

Cross platform would be impossible or heavily one sided if they don't get 60fps across all platforms anyway.
