Oh boy, it's that time of year!
Except they only have 2DS systems on sale, when 3DS is superior.
@nukatha Superior in that it has a 3D functionality that even Nintendo aren't supporting much these days. 3D was a fine gimmick that served them well, but it's time it was dropped and that looks to be exactly what they're doing.
Does anyone know if we had black Friday on the eShop last year?
I'm hoping to get Starlink with a discount.
I know the physical copy is cheaper now but for this one I want to have digital.
That's a good bundle deal.
Shame the games on offer are rather limited but some real gems in there.
Now to suit up and prepare for all the carnage this weekend.
@tourjeff I don't remember there being a branded "Black Friday" sale, but there was definitely loads of eShop games at discounted prices at that time as I remember picking up a few.
I'm hoping for an eshop sale.
Ordered their Mario Kart 8 Deluxe bundle late last night for my bro for his daughter for Christmas, gutted I've missed out on that by a matter of hours
@nukatha Superior in that it has a 3D functionality that barely anyone even uses for $50 more? I think not
The New 3DS and New 3DS XL are better models than the New 2DS XL regardless of 3D feature, they also have better build quality and such.
I don't recall all the minute details, but I recall the New 2DS XL having a mono speaker or awkward speaker placement or something, or I might be thinking of the 2DS specifically.
@ReaderRagfish Only for the first 1,000 orders.
Free Calendar codes only work with an order over £150!!!!
Wow Nintendo Store really does not like giving away free stuff.
@nocdaes cool, hopefully Ubi will discount Starlink there too
The software deals are more expensive than many stores non-sale prices.
Good Switch deal at Smyths. Diablo Limited Edition for £289.99.

Vanilla Switch will be £249 at Tesco on Friday
@tourjeff Yea, I hope so too - I'd pick it up if it was 30% or so off. I don't think it's guaranteed they will do it though... I get the feeling they've discounted the physical because of having too much stock of all those toys, and pressure from retailers who don't want it taking up all that extra space in their warehouses and distribution centres. We will see though...!

The 3D is incredibly good, and I want every handheld to have it from now on. Not only does it make judging distances infinitely easier, it causes one's eyes to take care of some anti-aliasing, since each eye gets a slightly different picture.
It is absolutely worth paying extra, and I think you'll find more people use it than don't, especially on N3DS systems.
@tourjeff I can't remember last year, but Starlink is on sale in the North American shop right now. I just bought it earlier this week from Amazon when they did it for $35. Haven't gotten to play it yet. I bought several games today. Finally Got Mario x Rabbids Gold Edition, and South Park: The Fractured Butt Hole Gold. Annnnnd like 5 other games. But when half off, it is the time to buy.
@nocdaes It's on sale in the North American shop right now. Hopefully it is in the European as well.
Got to be the worst deals around!
Inferior Animal Crossing game, Inferior Zelda game, Terrible Sonic game. Nice selection
why do nintendo never like putting their games on sale
@kamikazilucas Price fixing and stupidity
@frabbit
And I'm just sitting here with many others wanting EVERY future handheld device I ever buy to have 3D.
@nukatha Fair enough. Can't argue with a preference!
